The only downside came at the end of the night. Overall, the service had been solid, and the chef even stopped by to explain the egg fermentation process, which was such a thoughtful touch. But after we ordered our last drink--and after we had already tipped--the server began pushing us out. "There's another reservation for your table in 10 minutes," we were told, despite there being more than six empty tables. We had just ordered a dessert to go, and what if we had planned to enjoy it there? It felt abrupt and unnecessary, especially after tipping well over 25%. Even with that experience, I will certainly return. The food is exceptional, and the chances of getting the same server again are slim. I just hope the staff learns not to rush customers paying such high prices, because an otherwise wonderful evening was marred by that moment.
