I got to try their lasagna, which came with a meatball, bread, and wedding soup. I quite enjoyed this meal. Prices were OK and the portion was satisfying. The lasagna had quite a lot of ricotta and it was reasonably flavorful, but I would have liked a bit more of a flavor from the sauce. The meatball was quite large. Not too flavorful and a bit of a tough texture (almost sausage like), but still good. Bread was very basic but free so can't complain. The wedding soup was quite good. Small cup but flavorful broth and quite a good amount of cheese (I think?) in there. All in all, I enjoyed my meal here. Good little Italian spot in East McKeesport and probably one of the better restaurants in this area.

I loved everything about my various experiences here. Service has always been incredible. I've been seated in the bar area and the main restaurant, been there as a date night, on my own and with friends and the service was the same - consistent, attentive and overall wonderful. The real star, though, is the food. Everything I've ever had here was incredibly delicious. I really like that they have a bar bites menu and a regular dinner menu. The bar food is far from typical bar food. They are packed with flavor and upscale. The entrees - you really can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite entree was the swordfish. The feta and pepper cream were just the perfect proportion to the fish. A real standout is the sides. It should be noted that most entrees don't have a traditional side - you need to order them separately. But they are absolutely worth it. I'd go back and order a meal of the sides I liked them that much. Overall, an amazing place for a special date night or just a nice quiet meal. I highly recommend it!

We came for brunch , but there was no one in the restaurant outside of the party room. When reserving the private room you can select from two pre-fixed menus. One is $20 per person and the other is $30 per person. Great deal, but you are unable to order from the restaurant's actual every day menu. The food was okay. I had the quiche entree which was just really basic to me. I would come back to try options from the full menu.

Now the food , oh the food. We started off with the Cajun style scallops, and I probably could have had a dozen of those! Perfectly cooked, served hot, and just smooth deliciousness. (And I'm a scallop snob) For entrees my boyfriend got the stuffed shrimp and they were so good! I wanted a little bit of everything, so I got the seafood boat. And let me tell ya, they give you so much food! The menu describes the crab legs as over a pound, pretty sure I got like 3 lbs of them! Everything was cooked so well, and even the veggies and baked potato were so yummy! In fact my boyfriend speaks of how great the baked potato was often! It definitely is a bit pricey, but good seafood is. And this is well worth the price! Definitely will be back!

I really enjoy that the pasta is fresh and the menu isn't 40 pages long. It's straight to the point and you know what you're getting based on what is listed under the pasta shape. My short rib ricotta gnocchi was good but I do wish it had a bit more salt to bring more of the flavor to the front. The gnocchi texture was perfect and pillowy. The short rib mixed in nicely with all of the pasta and the sauce. My spouse enjoyed the cannelloni, which was pretty much their lasagna but also wanted a bit more salt. Our server was very nice and walked us through the menu options as well as told us about the seafood special for the night. The bread came out first and was delicious. The salad was also good and I don't usually like arugula. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and I enjoy that they take the time to do that. The space is very cute and you can't really miss it even with it being in an executive building. It's a smaller area but it can seat a good amount of people. We noticed they had a pasta making class so maybe next time we're in town, we can do it. The red sangria had a great balance where it wasn't too sweet. We didn't do dessert but we did enjoy the digestif at the end with limoncello and my spouse ate the amaretti cookies as I couldn't.

The pasta shapes are unlike anything else you'll find in Western PA. They even offer complimentary limoncello and Amaretti cookies to end your meal, which is a really nice touch. They have family style options for groups who want to try a variety of dishes, but the menu is just as fitting for a date night. Bonus: the leftovers taste just as good the next day! The space can get a bit loud with high ceilings and a full house, but the lively energy reflects how much people are enjoying the experience. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The owner even stopped by tables to check on guests. It's tucked inside an industrial park and may be a little tricky to find if you're unfamiliar with the area, but GPS and signage get you there without much trouble. Definitely worth the visit!

We came on a Tuesday, there weren't many people in the dining area but there were tons of pickup orders. It was quiet, the atmosphere was very chill, and our waitress (I apologize, I don't believe I remember her name) was very attentive and sweet! We ended up getting the combo boil, we got snow crab, pork sausage, crawfish, and shrimp. I had never had crawfish before so I was very curious. Turns out, I don't like them. But that's just one man's opinion! Nothing to do with the prep itself, just not my style! Everything else was phenomenal though! The crab was juicy and the Cajun spices made it really pop! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a special meal, especially if you're a seafood fan! The price after having the combo and one drink each was about $60, or $30 per person. Wow! I had seen this place many times on social media and expected it to be super expensive but it wasn't! If I lived closer I'd be here all the time! If you're on the fence, let me push you over it. We learned late in the day that the location we had chosen was closed due to no power. I called Elrama Tavern to see if they could accommodate our group in about an hour and they said they could. When we arrived they prepared a table for us downstairs. We've visited ET several times in the past but had never seen the downstairs room. It is spectacular. James quickly took care of our table with drinks and orders and made sure glasses never went empty. The food was great. A few had the Pittsburgh Steak Salad and loved it. One of our group had the Bacon Steak Hoagie and commented it was the best steak hoagie he'd had in a very long time. Another stated that her burger was top tier. I had the Butter Baked Cod Sandwich and I can honestly say it was among the top fish sandwiches I've ever had. Hats off the Elrama Tavern. A great place, with great food, and great people.
