We once again chose this hotel for our 4 night stay in KPT. This year it was in a premium king on the first floor. We decided to forego room service in favor of only exchanging towels. The breakfast remains unchanged including the dry waffles so most days we either dined out or purchased breakfast pastries elsewhere. Did I mention happy hour? No? A personal, only my wife was invited, happy hour was held each night on the couches and tables located in the enclosed patio. read more

We spent two days in Kennebunkport and stayed overnight at King's Port Inn, booking a King Suite w/ Jacuzzi. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and my spouse and I slept very well. The windows opened and we were able to get fresh air while we slept. We bought a bottle of wine, sat in our private jacuzzi and just let the day melt away. Parking was free with our stay. The continental breakfast was nothing fancy. Cold hard boiled eggs, cold cereals, instant oatmeal, breads/bagels with two toasters that barely toasted (get new ones!) and cubed cantaloupe. They had a lovely woman making waffles for anyone who wanted them. Regular and decaf coffee was available as well as tea. The only items available to eat for anyone gluten free were the eggs and cantaloupe. There were no GF bread items. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel is extremely convenient and within walking distance to everything in Kennebunkport and Kennebunk. It's about 2.5 miles from Nunan's (the BEST lobster). read more

They had a great breakfast in the morning and it's in walking distance from all restaurants and shops around town.... we have already made a reservation to come back and stay on my birthday in July... Back a year later and breakfast is open and fantastic. It has the least selection of hotels we've been to recently but it's the highest quality. There's a sign that says to order made to order waffles with the staff but they asked us right away. There were tons of toppings for the waffles including Maine blueberries! There was also a yogurt bar, cereals, English muffins and bagels, hard boiled eggs, and a cappuccino/cocoa/mocha machine that was available even after breakfast for an after dinner cocoa. First of all I have never left a review on any business until now. The Kings Port Inn was perfect. Walking distance to practically everything. The hotel is older but with that said the rooms were exceptionally clean, especially the bathrooms which we so appreciated! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were perfect. We celebrated my moms birthday with a 3 day weekend in Kennebunkport and everyone was so happy with our lodging. Not always easy to please 4 women! The staff was polite and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. The town itself is perfect for a girls trip. Lots of shops, beautiful restaurants, and First Chance Whale watch did not disappoint! This was our first stop on our trip driving up the coast of Maine. The best first decision I made was booking this hotel. First, the price is fair. It isn't cheap, but compared to others in the same general area, it is a total bargain. The room was great! Really clean and neat. Spacious. Great water pressure. Very comfortable. My wife and I loved the staff. From the people at the front office to the housekeeping staff, they were all wonderful. So nice and helpful with anything that we needed. Special thanks goes to Linda for our breakfast. What a wonderful woman who is so nice and caring. We enjoyed speaking to her and getting to know her. Her waffles were sooooo good. Add the fresh blueberries with whipped cream and powdered sugar and you have a breakfast to die for. Love having them cooked to order. The location is also prime. Right on the main drag of Kennebunkport. Park your car for free and walk, within a minute of downtown. Loved this place! read more

Great location. Walking distance to everything in downtown Kennebunkport. Small rooms, clean, hot shower with great water pressure. No breakfast right now (COVID) but coffee and tea selections all day. Cute breakfast spot across the street, loved HB Provisions grocery store. If you are sensitive to noise from surrounding rooms I'd suggest requesting a top floor room. Very lovely staff and reasonably priced. Solid place to sleep at night and explore during the day. Kennebunk Beach is 2 miles away, Goose Rocks Beach is 5 miles. Free parking at Inn. read more

Super comfortable, very clean and quiet and smack in the middle of alit of shops so walking or biking is a plus! Lots of dogs around but unsure if this place is pet friendly. Comfy beds, friendly staff and complimentary breakfast. Boiled eggs, tea, coffee, juices, cereal, yogurt and fruit and choice of bread, English muffins or bagels and mini muffins. Waffle upon request is made for you. All in all very nice. I would have liked to see a few other choices for breakfast like sausage or bacon and oatmeal. But i just like what i like. Lol. I would definitely stay again because i was sick sat when i stayed and ruined my Saturday night out with my hubby. It was our anniversary weekend and had to spend most of it in bed! I enjoyed our stay here. It's on the Main Street in downtown Kennebunkport, next to everything. You can't beat the location. The room was way nicer/larger in person than in the pictures so I was pleasantly surprised. It was also clean and the A/C worked great. I would stay here again The only things I'd suggest improvement on are -it was incredibly difficult to open our door. It kept getting "stuck" and I was afraid we would accidentally break the door while trying to get it open. We had a great stay here. The staff is friendly and the room we stayed in was comfortable. The rates in the off season are very reasonable and it is a quick walk to shopping and some great restaurants. My only disappointment was the included breakfast - nothing really fresh or interesting. Got a decent price for this place online, under $100. Not a bad deal at all for the great location and nice room. This is more of a bed and breakfast type place than a hotel, but a rather nice one, some of the rooms have private entrances from the outside. Kind of has an older feel to it, like staying at your grandmother's house, but super clean and comfortable. Location is great, far enough away from the touristy stuff so there aren't hordes of people around the hotel, but close enough to walk right out and to everything worth seeing in the little "downtown" tourist district. Nice little store right across the street to get anything you might need during your stay as well. Wish we would have splurged and gotten a jacuzzi room. read more

Stayed here 1 night, on a whim, based on Yelp reviews. My son and I took a spontaneous February afternoon drive from Boston to Kennebunkport and needed a place to stay. We literally sat in the parking lot of another place looking at reviews (and prices) to find a place. We picked this place because of its proximity to town, the fact that it was open year round, and the ratio of good price to jacuzzi in room! Walking in off the street we were given a great rate for a King Suite with a Jacuzzi. OK, so the tub wasn't something I wanted but my 9 year old loved the idea of his own private pool for the evening. After a nice dinner at nearby Federal Jack's, we settled in for a quiet night where he played in the tub for a couple hours while I relaxed and watched TV on the big flat screen in the room. Breakfast was a simple but nice enough. And over all I can tell this is a decent place without all the bells, whistles, and price of other B&B's in town. I recommend it. So, I'm currently at the INN and it's a beautiful place. I have never been here and the room, which we reserved OVER 2 months ago wasn't what we wanted. This was supposed to be a romantic little getaway with my girlfriend only to find we have been given the wrong room. We reserved a King Room with one King Bed. There are 2 beds, and three only thing that was offered to us was a free glass of wine! I mean, sure why not. I drove almost 2 hours from Massachusetts to get a free glass of wine. But rest assure, the desk clerk did offer a glass of wine or a beer. Oh and he made sure to tell us that the rate for a night was $99...thanks for the $5 discount, because we paid $91.15 for the night. Customer service is a huge goose egg. We drove up to Kennebunkport for a wedding that was being held at the Nonantum Resort. After finding out that we'd be paying over $300 a night at the Nonantum we decided to look around town and see what else was available. The King's Port Inn definitely had a small town feel but was perfect for what we needed. By the time we made the reservation the only room available was a jacuzzi king room with a HUGE four poster bed, two person jacuzzi and shower room with multiple shower heads. The bed practically took up the entire room, so maneuvering around was a challenge, but it was comfortable and clean. With the AAA membership discount we paid $170 a night (breakfast included) and it was money well spent. We could walk out the front door and into the little town in 2 minutes and the hotel was quiet when we wanted to sleep. Overall, nothing fancy but definitely a good choice for the money. The jacuzzi made the whole thing quite romantic indeed! read more

Absolutely loved everything about this quaint bed and breakfast. We booked the Royal Jacuzzi Room after reading reviews online. For a small price difference from their basic room, we got the treat of a 2 person jacuzzi and 2 person shower! It really made our "mini vacation". We ordered chocolate covered strawberries for our arrival, and they were amazing. My husband doesn't even like them usually, and he liked these! The breakfast was good. It was kind of in between a continental and hot breakfast. They had yogurt with plenty of toppings, good coffee, bagels, muffins, english muffins and assorted pastries and cereal. They made hot waffles, which were good. They had hard-boiled eggs instead of hot eggs. I thought for the price we paid (under 140-no 2 night minimum), it was well worth it. The location was perfect. Close to the shops downtown and a short drive to the beach. We will definitely be back soon. I probably won't stay anywhere else in Kennebunk/Kennebunkport! read more

Came here to stay 1 night for our anniversary. We had originally booked for a week before, but got hit with a bad snow storm the night before we were going. My boyfriend called to see if there was anyway we could reschedule our reservation as we did not want to drive 1.5 hours in a storm and they happily accommodated us! I was really worried about them not allowing us to, but they were happy to help. We checked in and the man at the counter was very friendly and informative. They also had homemade cookies on the desk. Our room package included a dinner voucher for 1 of 5 restaurants and we received it upon check in. He also let us know about breakfast and the wifi. I reserved a royal suite with a king bed and jacuzzi and it did not disappoint. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was to die for. They even put a little basket with Lindt truffles and a candle in the room for us! We had a parking spot directly outside door which was really convenient. The area is so cute and everything was in walking distance. We had a great dinner and really enjoyed the room, the hot tub was definitely worth the extra money. They offer a complimentary breakfast which includes homemade waffles, pastries, coffee, juice etc. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. We stayed at King's Port Inn for 2 nights of our honeymoon on the northeast coast. The location of the Inn is perfect! It is within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops. We only drove our car to go check out Walker's Point. The Inn is a little bit older and it shows, but we still prefer this over a chain hotel. While it is older, the walls must be super thick because we never heard any other guests while we were in our room. The bed was super comfortable and it's worth mentioning that the bath towels were better than your standard hotel bath towels! The breakfast (hot waffles!) was really great as well. read more

I know- going to Kennebunk in the winter is silly but my friend and I wanted to get away and visit a different area in Maine (we usually go to the White Mountains). I found the King's Port Inn on Tingo and decided to book two days. The location is fantastic. It's near (walking distance) to several cute shops, a great goods store and many restaurants. Our room was very nice. Located on the second floor, you could use outside steps or go in via the lobby. I loved the bathroom. The shower was so nice, and strong. The bed was huge- a king's size. We enjoyed having a mini fridge. The television was decent. Older model and not a lot of good channels (normally we wouldn't even care about the television but it snowed quite a bit on Sunday so we spent a great deal of time hanging out in the hotel room). The dining area for the continental breakfast was very nice. I wasn't super impressed with the food offered for the breakfast as I expected a bit more, especially in that lovely setting. We did have a noisy room next door so the walls are a bit thin but it was just their television so we can't complain as I bet they heard ours too. I would love to stay here during the summer as I'm sure the area had a lot more to offer, especially considering we got 10 or more inches of snow while there on Sunday (they did a great job plowing) and only went out walking a few times. Very good value for the price, and I definitely recommend staying there as a great home base for exploring the area, and even going to Portland about forty minutes away. read more

A one night stop over on the way to Sebago Lake for this 55+ couple, was a very pleasant experience. The hotels location allowed us to walk to restaurants and shopping. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We upgraded to one of the Royal Jacuzzi rooms, which was spotless and allowed us to park our car directly in front of our room. Great buffet breakfast before heading out. Will definitely book a room next year on our yearly sojourn to Sebago Lake. read more
