My husband had the turkey leg. He said it was flavored good. And he loved it. Only thing he said negative was it was a little cold in the middle. Not freezing cold, but definitely wasn't hot like it came out of the grill. We had to wait 15 minutes for it to be done so the outside was hot but not the middle next to the bone. We aren't ones to complain so we let it ride. I also want to know if the collard greens were home cooked or canned. I cook collard greens all the time so I just wasn't sure if these were fresh. Even when he gets slammed with orders, he still has a smile on his face. He would always write something like "smile!" On his plates whenever we order. I'm happy to see his business grow bigger and serving at Wai Kai. He's the man if you are on the west side and want porkhash! If you not from the west side, its worth the drive to come and try his food!

How do you like your pork hash...this has never been an option for me and it was interesting enough for me to try, besides who does love pork filling held in a thin wrapper...yum! Love that they keep it simple pork hash steamed (spicy or regular) fried (only regular) at a dozen for $20 or half dozen is $10 yassss! I'll get half a dozen of spicy steamed please!!! Ok regular steamed and it was HOT (temperature) I definitely wasn't prepared for that and didn't want to put it on anything that can be affected by it in my tote as I couldn't hold on to it and burn myself lol but once it cooled a bit we found some seating and I gave it a try...meh...not for me. This location was at the Ono Grindz and Makeke at Wai Kai which is every Thursday nights from 4p-8p which is nice with free parking but to support these local small biz at our local markets is not just fun but yummy as well. Yay! Another location for one of my favorite snacks!…read more First off, I like the location. I do a lot of errands and run a portion of my life in TC so to have this location is convenient for me. I know I shouldn't be eating this all the time, but I love it for when I don't want a full meal. I do miss the old food place that was in here, but at least when it left it provided a great, clean dine-in area for Mr. Cow. Honestly, as far as service, I don't know how to mess this up. You just take my order and then call my number when it's ready. I do notice that they may be the ones cooking it as well, but it's good to know that's how simple these hot dogs are. Overall, it's hard to mess this food up so it makes sense how it's able to expand so fast. Wouldn't be surprised if this place is a franchise. I also really appreciate that it has dippin' dots as well which is a great contrast to the food and there's not many dessert places out there. Or just many dippin' dots vendors out there in general. The best part about this is that it's just like the other locations, so you know what you get when you walk in. And when you think about it, that's hard to find in food establishments.

Love how spacious this Town Center of Mililani location has with a bunch of seating and seeing that they had Dippin' Dots and Ramyun Noodle station as well is not what I expected. After much indecisiveness it was my usual of "Fried Potato" which has chunks of diced potato fried along with the stick that I chose half mozzarella/half hot dog which is $1 extra no problem and it's a short wait as it's made to order and came out nice and hot where you need a moment before the burn but as I grabbed my box was a bit annoyed with the greasy hand print left on it that I was grateful I didn't just toss in my tote. What you also need to be mindful is that they do have a condiment station with six different sauces that you can bougie up your bite is a very nice offering though I did enjoy my bite as is and it was cooked perfectly and definitely filled me up to satisfy me until dinner. Being that my wife is from Louisiana, every time we hit up a soul food spot, she asks where they're from. Today, we learned that the Moore's family is from Florida and have been in Hawaii since the 80's. Since we already had an early lunch, we weren't tryna get too crazy on the ordering as I typically do. My wife decided to try the chicken wing plate which came with 10pc chicken wings and fries. After debating on the flavor choice, we agreed on chipotle mango. When the owner hand delivered the plate to us, she asked for our honest review... and here it is!! Haha! FIVE STARS! :) Happy to report the wings and fries were amazing!!! Loved the homemade sauce that the wings were tossed in. I was expecting a little kick after catching a scent of hot sauce, but they weren't spicy at all. I appreciate the naked wings too btw. They were so juicy and flavorful, and I love when my food is piping hot! Excited to try other offerings and even other flavors of wings. Hopefully more menu items are available the next time we stop by. Today there were a few things marked SOLD OUT. As far as hours of operation and locations, the best thing to do is follow them on instagram (which I don't have), but calling their number to check the schedule is another option. I started talking to him about the family business and how his Mom & Dad has been making and selling Lau Lau and Pipikaula for years. They make their authentic food and also sell plates at the Kapolei Don Quijote parking lot and Kroc Center Night Market. I bought some Laulau and there were juices in the bag and it was wrapped in foil. I bought the warm Laulau they also sell it cold so you can store at home . I heated it up and it was the best Laulau I ever ate. Juicy, the meat was so tender and tasty. The taro leaf was cooked to perfection. I wish I bought more & will try some Pipikaula next time. Maybe if they sell some plates more people will know what a gem Papa Laulauz is.

Since then I don't go anymore when she's working the register. I hope the restaurant provides additional customer service training because the food keeps me coming back, but the inconsistent service takes away from the experience.
