The tire on our car had a screw in it so naturally we took it to get it patched. We thought it would be an easy fix since it was not in the side wall of the tire. When we dropped it off the man told us they could just patch it up real quick so come back in an hour to pick the tire up. An hour and a half later and the man said the tire was almost ready. Almost two hours pasted as we waited in the lobby before another man came to tell us they couldn't patch the tire and we would need a new one. If they would have actually inspected it that first hour we left it we could've saved a lot of time. I would not recommend coming here if you value your time. They also carelessly threw the spare tire in the trunk. Again please go here if you don't value your time! read more

My son ordered a part for installation in the truck, here I came, the problem first did not arrive the day they told him later it was and that they did not have time to put it on and immediately I schedule an appointment to put it on and take 8 hours to put the defense of in front of the truck. They sold my GF a Used tire at a NEW Tire price. I know because it had 3 inch Air bubbles on both sides. Im glad she caught it. Crazy thing is they had yellow markings around them on both sides. Check Any tires bought from them. Could have had a blowout and cost someone's life. Hope Jonathan the manager will make it right. I blame the tire installer. Some black guy. they tightened the lock lugs so tight that a dealer we took it to for a repair broke his lock and then his socket designed to remove the lug without the key. he just plugged our tire and when we ask King to loosen the lock lugs so they could be removed they charge EIGHTY...that's 80 dollars to undo THEIR DAMAGE. read more

I have never given a bad review in my life but honestly I'm telling people do not go to kings tire. we went there to get new springs struts and a lowering kit. We assumed knowingly that we wanted new everything weather we needed the back ones done or not we told them we wanted it all brand new so that we didnt have to worry about it down the line. Well our back struts started to knock and us thinking they were done we go to them and the said o no we didnt do them and we wondered why not because we told yall we wanted them. They went on telling us they can get them for us and put them in but we would have to pay and start all over with another payment. I understand that we didnt get charged for it and it didnt get ordered but that was the whole point of us telling them from the beginning of wanting it done so it can all be put on one bill and not having to pay multiple times of a down payment and adding more to already to our monthly payment. IM SO IRRITATED NOW THAT WE R HAVEING TO DO THIS STUPID PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN BECAUSE ONE GUY DIDNT DO HIS JOB AND WHAT WE ASKED FOR ! read more

Just wanted to mention prior to the review that I normally don't review company's whether good or bad. I felt compelled to share this experience with the hope that with this information future kings tire customers would have the knowledge to prevent them from ripping off the residents of Lubbock Co My wifes Pontiac g8 gt needed tires again so I had my wife do some comparison shopping at 3 tire shops here In Lubbock. She told me that she felt like Victor at kings had quoted her the best price and best quality tire and that kings was going to install TOYO tires which we had purchased before for another vehicle and the TOYO tires did fine. So we drop the vehicle and when I go to pick it up it doesn't have TOYO tires ... they installed Duro tires. When I asked them where are the TOYO tires that we were told were going to be installed, he replied and get this..... well sir the Duro tires are made by TOYO and was just a private type label.... which in some cases can be true. TOYO has not and never has had any affiliation at all with Duro. Duro is a cheap pos Chinese manufactured tire. If you want to buy tires from a company whose employees will straight up lie to your face about the products they sell then Kings tire is truly King of hill. We now have a very nice set of TOYO tires on the g8 from a reputable company here in lubbock. If anyone needs a awesome set if duro tires very cheap... hit me up.... I needed new tires and after a terrible experience at discount tire. A friend recommended me to this place. I called them on the phone and they gave me a price of $350 for a set of tires. I asked for the sales mans name and headed over. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I asked to speak with the sales man and I was informed that he actually worked for a different location but they quickly told me that they would call him and get me taken care of at this location so that I didn't have to go across town. As I waited one of the gentlemen at the desk started a friendly conversation with me. And what makes it even better the tires ended up being $320!! The wait was a bit long but they certainly made up for it with their diligence in making the customers feel at home. Once my car was done they made sure I knew what they would cover for free in the future and what was not covered.
