They wanted to ensure we got our money back through the bank (which we did) and have also offered to complete the job if we want to do that. While I wish we had gotten this done back when we initially went through the process, I'm impressed they followed up after all this time to make sure we are made whole.

This was without a doubt the worst experience I've had with a window cleaning contractor (20 years…read morein this house). It started off well...but began to fall apart at the end of the job and then totally collapsed during the follow-up emails with the owner. The tech seemingly did a fine job on the windows, but I have since noticed that a few of the windows were not cleaned well or not at all (I wasn't informed of this by the tech). However, sometime during the removal of the screens and the cleaning of them several of the screens were ripped; and the tech claimed not to know how it happened. When trying to resolve the issue with the owner via email, he attributed all the damage to the screens to the bushes outside the house. Prior window cleaner never had that happen before. The owner offered to drive them to a screen maker to get them repaired but did not offer even partial payment for the repairs. Furthermore, he quoted the technician as saying that there were "actual sticks from the bushes poking through the screens prior to his removal." This conflicts with what I was told firsthand by the tech, which was he didn't really know how the screens were damaged. Even more bewildering, one of the screens that was damaged is nowhere near any bushes whatsoever. Be forewarned: They never came out to estimate costs; I sent a few pictures of the home per the owner's direction. That's quite different than my experience with other contractors...who always came out. I suspect that had an in-person visit occurred, I would have been asked (and happily complied) to have the bushes trimmed. Marginally competent, unprofessional management, and somewhat truth-challenged is my bottom line assessment.
