TLDR: DO NOT USE Caribbean Blue Pools for ANY sort of pool renovations.  The quality of work and…read moreprofessionalism is obsolete.  I had a 30k+ pool renovation that they made a nightmare, details below.  I could not regret more, choosing them to do my renovations.  There is no upside to using Caribbean Blue Pools, I urge anyone considering pool renovations to skip them.  They do not care about you as a customer and will take advantage. **Update** The leak that Ken "fixed" did not hold and I will have to rerip up my finished pool for the 3rd time.  Ken failed to property renovate the pool and pressure test the lines before starting the renovation (which is the industry standard for a non working pool).  I messaged him to work through this and he did not respond.  I had an outdated and not working pool in the house I recently moved into.  I know nothing about pools and reached out to Ken to do a full remodel (tile, plaster, lights, equipment, etc) everything to get a pool up and running.  Ken reassured me that he had 20 years of experience and that they were fully competent to get my pool up and running. I cut a check for 10k and they got going.  He installed the equipment and contracted the tile and plastering out to another company.  When they finished and went to fill the pool, all the problems started.  The pool would not hold water and my yard started flooding.   Ken requested the reaming 20k for a "job well done".  I let him know that my pool was not working and I was not comfortable paying the full amount.  He lost it on me and told me that he has done his job and demands to be paid in full.  I paid for the work and proceeded to watch my BRAND NEW pool drain and flood my backyard.  I had to hire a third party leak detector that informed me a have a pool leak under my brand new pool deck.  I reached out to Ken multiple times and he told me "This isn't my problem your pool never worked when we started on it". I called him to talk through the situation and knowing nothing about pools, felt extremely helpless.  He LITERALLY laughed at me (I have this recorded) saying this is why I have my contract about testing for leaks before we start our work (Ha,ha,ha).  You have 20 years experience Ken, if you're so proud of it, use it to inform your clients of work that needed to be done! He admitted knowing that there was an issue with the hot tub holding water but failed to rely the importance of this to me before starting.  He also did not pressure test the lines before starting the work.  This cost me having just completed my full renovation (deck included) to have the brand new deck ripped up along with the brand new tile of the hot tub. The issues only furthered from there.  The leak detector informed me that the equipment that Ken with 20+ years of pool experience installed, was done incorrectly.  (Video here: https://youtu.be/4rjEOiIEPjE)  He did not ground my pool equipment and even left the equipment unbolted to the concrete slab which would have broke my pipes.  Leaving pool equipment unbonded is illegal.  Ken just did not want to do the work, due to the ground wire being harder to find.  I would NEVER have known that my equipment wasn't even properly installed unless I had been told (Ken knew this and never mentioned it to me!). The leak detector had a tough time locating the leak and Ken demanded that he speak to the leak detector.  Ken suggested digging into the floor of the brand new hot tub to look for the leak.  Unfortunately, this wasnt were the leak was and Ken's suggestion ended up costing me an additional $400, which he charged me to fix!  Thank you! He then wrote up a quote to fix a new targeted leak of the pool.  This was finally finished and supposedly I have a working pool.  Shockingly, the pool is still not holding water and I have the leak detector come back out.  I come to find that I also have a bad drain, plug and multiport valve that need to be replaced for another $500.  This should have been caught during the entire equipment revamp.  Ken also charged me an additional $1,500 to fix a leak that he suspected was there before starting the work.  I am also still waiting and will have to pay to have my brand new deck fixed due to this company's negligence. Do not trust them with large jobs.  If you want someone to just dump chemicals in your pool and collect your money, feel free but leave the large work for another company.

We used Aquaman for about 3 months and the last month the pool has been unusable. Right off the bat there where minor instructions that were not followed, but Jim the owner came right out and we went over the issues and he said he would address them with our pool guy. I easily overlooked the issues and was impressed that Jim came right out. The next couple of visits were fine and the pools condition was great. The next visit our pool guy arrived, opened the gate and then left. I. Called the office later the next day as I thought he might come back. I had to call a second time the next week because my original vm was not returned. We could not use the pool that weekend because it needed cleaning. Once I did get a call back I was told or pool guy had been left go and Jim was handling all the service calls. The next week we a random pool guy showed up to clean the pool saying he was filling in and had no idea of any instructions. After he left the pool was still dirty. So I called the office yet again and the next day Jim cleaned the pool. The same random guy came the following week and left the pool dirty and green. This meant we spent father's day using a dirty, green pool, Yuck. Once again Jim came back out to clean the pool. Another issue is they do not leave door hangers so there is very little communication. It has been another two weeks and the pool is still green. Jim has been by several times the last two weeks and had a plan to clear up the pool. It is his hard work that allowed me to give 3 stars instead of 2. Unfortunately, the pool is still green so we had to leave Aquaman.

We also have an automated system with some bells a whistles that we were unfamiliar with buying a new house and he walked us through it all and helped troubleshoot. I'd much rather support this small business than other larger companies that don't care as much, are careless an not as attentive and you don't get the same level of service. Whenever he's done with service, you get a nice email summary with before and active pictures and details on what he's done and what levels your pool chemicals are at. And really they came up with the best name for a pool maintenance company! (Or rather his wife did lol)

We met with Collin (the Designer) back in January and told him our ideas. It took about a week and then we met up with him to see what he came up with in terms of design and cost. He was great throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and always answered our questions fairly quickly. My husband kept in contact with him the entire time. In February we met with Ryan (the site supervisor) about the construction of the pool. He was also very knowledgeable and explained what would happen throughout the construction process. My husband also kept in contact with him in case he had any questions. The construction process began in February. We weren't moved into our new home yet so the noise wasn't an issue for us but it's loud. Because we had fairly good Spring Weather the construction process went quickly. We were told that weather could delay the process but we didn't really have issues with the weather at that time. We went to our new home regularly to check on the progress of the pool which moved along quickly. Our pool was completed in mid May about a week before our move in date. So when we moved into our new home we had a completed swimming pool. It's great! We have used it multiple times and love that it was ready in time for the Summer. Overall Cody Pools did a magnificent job. Collin and Ryan were friendly and very helpful throughout the entire process. In a nutshell, they abandoned servicing my pool with no notice. I emailed three times and did not receive any response and saw my pool turn for the bad (see pics) over those three weeks. I then get a text message saying that they had stop servicing my neighborhood as one of their technicians had left. The only excuse of this text coming so late was that they had typo'd on my cell number. While I totally understand that these things happen, what I would have expected that they leave us with the pool in good shape so that we do not have to incur the additional cost of turning over the pool. In addition to that, they are expensive compared to the market and not a great service. They always left our pool with debris at the bottom. The business owner really does not show professionalism and just really difficult to work with. Adam (the primary technician) puts in the effort but not just not been able to get the pool to how most other pool servicing companies deliver results. Fallon (the business owner) just does not seem capable or responsible for dealing with customers. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these folks any more and its a shame to see a small business like this go from a great reputation to abysmal customer service levels.
