Their food is decent. Haven't ordered from there a lot, so don't have a lot of opinions to give, but we have had is good.

We have been here several times while visiting friends in the area. Always fresh, consistently good and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience was not as positive, and I found myself disappointed--though not due to any major issues. When I arrived at 11 a.m., right as the restaurant opened, there seemed to be adequate staff and they certainly weren't too busy to pay attention to the two tables dining at the time. I have no issue with staff taking a moment to chat, but I wish they had focused a little more on the guests who were dining. We ordered green tea, which is served in a metal teapot. The protocol is that if one person orders it, they receive the teapot, and if two people order it, they get one teapot to share. However, what surprised me was that despite finishing our tea, no one came by to offer us a refill. It would have been nice for someone to ask if we wanted more, especially given that we had finished the first pot. I also ordered the vegetable udon, hoping for a flavorful dish filled with fresh vegetables. Sadly, when it arrived, it lacked any vegetables and was quite bland. The overall taste was underwhelming, which was disappointing, as I had expected better. I pushed the plate to the side, indicating that I wouldn't be eating it. No one noticed. My plate was hardly touched, and not once did any staff member, including what I presumed to be the manager based on his demeanor, come over to inquire about my meal. He passed by my table at least three times without asking if everything was okay. I would have appreciated the opportunity to provide feedback. While I must say that everything else I tasted, aside from the udon, was delicious, the lack of attention to detail--such as not offering a refill for my tea and not inquiring about my dining experience--left me feeling neglected. It was truly disappointing to leave with an untouched plate and not a single word from the staff addressing my concerns even after we declined the offer container to take home the meal.

Absolutely loved eating in the hallways that John Dillinger once roamed as well on his way to his cell. I've seen the downstairs of the old courthouse when I was a kid back in the 80s and I love what they've done with the place!! it was my husband's birthday so he selected a very nice Japanese whiskey as they do have a very nice selection of sake and whiskey as well as craft cocktails. As for the food we started with the smoked wings. The marinade was black, garlic, maple and saki sprinkled with a nice tuxedo, sesame seed and oh my wow!!! The flavors were outstanding, probably the best wings I've had in years! The wings were also super meaty and juicy and they bring out steamed towels for your hands, a nice touch. My husband enjoyed the chef special of the evening which was a black truffle Ramen bowl with oyster mushrooms, snow peas, bean sprouts, and a little pork belly and oh so good! Definitely worth the 15$. I couldn't choose as usual, because there was so many things I wanted to try. I had studied the menu before wanting to have the Thai fried rice with the crab, but they were out of the crab so I asked the server what his favorite things were, and I chose one of them which was the Birria Ramen. It was unreal right down to the tiny little details. There was no way I could finish the broth as it was pretty rich, however, extremely good. I highly recommend Ramen district. We will be back and time again especially because the great service sealed the deal! He was super helpful , attentive and friendly.... Plus he has good taste in old punk music. It was cozy, not too loud and we made sure to ask the server questions. Check it out

I ordered a bunch of different things so we could try a bit of everything, and overall it was really good. I got the sushi boat for two ($62.99), and I was impressed by how much food it was for the price. It's all chef's choice, the rolls we got in our order was a Godzilla roll and a California roll. It also doesn't mention it on DD, but it includes miso soup and salad for two as well, which was a nice bonus. The fish tasted fresh in everything we ordered. We also got more rolls. The super white tuna roll ($6.49) was exactly what you'd expect. The salmon tempura roll ($7.99) wasn't too heavy or oily. The golden pillows appetizer ($6.99) was one of my favorites. It's tofu skin stuffed with rice and and spicy tuna and topped with avocado. It's well balanced and I wish they came in a larger order. You get two pieces. My other favorite was the volcano roll ($15.99) which is fried white fish and cream cheese topped with spicy tuna. I also tried the sweet potato tempura roll ($5.99) which was way too crunchy for my preferences. I would have preferred it to be softer. That said, everything else was delicious, and I'd definitely order again. I'd just skip the sweet potato roll next time.
