The other night, I ordered the General Tso's chicken dinner combo that came with pork fried rice and I ordered crabmeat ragoons. The place was very quick and I had my order very quickly. The food arrived hot and fresh. They even threw in a free eggroll. General Tso's Chicken was delicious! The entree had a good portion of meat and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken pieces were fried nicely and had a crunch. The sauce tasted good and it had a bit of a kick. The dish came with broccoli that was crunchy, but soft. Pork Fried rice was also very good. It was cooked nicely and it complemented the chicken. Overall, everything tasted so good and it is my go-to when I am craving Chinese food. I have also had their shrimp with cashew nut, egg drop soup, and the shrimp chow mei fun. These dishes were also good. read more

This was our second and last time ordering. It seems like they specialize in "Onion"fried rice because our chicken fried rice had about two largely chopped white onions in it and little to no chicken. Must be their way to cut protein cost down, but a least they could not be so lazy and actually chop the onions. The Generals chicken very soggy and greasy. The inside looks extremely dirty and rundown. We are praying for digestion. Sad to say you can get better Chinese from the mall or Panda. read more

Portions are tiny. The rice and chicken was barely halfway filed. I ordered a sesame chicken dinner and it looked like a lunch portion. There was hardly any rice or any chicken. The egg roll was absolutely terrible. The chicken was chewy and did not seem fresh. The rice was delicious though. My fiancé ordered the general tso dinner and he said the portions were tiny. He liked the rice and said his chicken was decent. He spit out the egg roll. Also the cream cheese rangoons were mostly dough. I probably would not return. read more

Decent enough and basic Chinese food. I had this delivered via DoorDash and everything was correct and tasty in my order. The egg drop soup was decently priced and tasted good. The sweet and sour chicken was good, basic since it had no veggies (no tomato, pineapple or green pepper) but sweet and made well. Also ordered the fried dumplings. They were meaty and grilled/fried well. Very good. The sauce that can't with was also sweet and tasty to dip. read more

Showed up at the hour mark, since it was Christmas day, and STILL had to wait an additional 20min while they allowed some rabid doordasher to antagonise any customer who complained about the wait. Literally allowed her to sit there and threaten their customers INCLUDING MYSELF with bodily harm. Regardless of the food quality this place is expensive. You can get 3x more food from china koon or china house. They have the same size container as china koon but koon fills it all with meat and not spilt it with rice. Dinner special looks like a lunch potion. read more

We received a menu in the mail today for Chinatown Chinese Restaurant and saw they deliver, so we thought we would try them out. They have online ordering, so I thought that was nice. After I placed my order, the site said we were out of their delivery area (Hessville). Really? You mail me a delivery menu and you don't deliver here? Let me check the internet... Hmm, 2.6 miles away. So, my husband calls them. The woman he spoke with was rude, combative, and hung up on him. If she had been nicer, we might have picked up the food. In an area that is literally saturated with Chinese restaurants, THIS is how you choose to treat prospective customers?! Needless to say that menu ended up in the trash. Seriously stay away from this place. I ordered 2 dinner specials 1 orange chicken 1 garlic chicken. My garlic chicken tasted way too salty like they just poured msg or salt in there like a pound of it. Chicken was unidentifiable if it even was. Vegetable's where hard very hard and there was an object that was glass like in the fried rice which was prob about 4 days old and the orange chicken overcooked and dry. Egg roll was good. Didn't even want to call and complain and try to get them to at least replace it because honestly it's that bad. WE FINALLY FOUND OUT CHINESE restaurant! We've lived in highland for almost 2 years! We've been to China koon, Chinese kitchen, j pea pod, nothing ever seemed to be good, they were just all ah, ok. The smells alone smell so delectable! We ordered the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken with a large chicken rice ($24.xx). Wow! This was amazing! The rice was good not Great but I'm stuck to the cheap Panda Express rice!! But the chicken and beef! Whoa whoa whoa! I ate all of that before I touched the rice! It was GREAT! I was worried about the beef being too spicy! There's a kick but nothing crazy! (If you don't like spicy, I recommend). This is our new go to place for Chinese!!!!!! read more

I ordered sweet and sour chicken, lo mein, and orange chicken and it was incredibly affordable and good. They also give a lot of rice. The food was as good as many of the Chinese food places I have been too. The kitchen is super duper clean and the food is great. I would highly recommend! read more

We love Chinatown. Its very clean and the food is delicious! Our standard order is Mongolian beef, House fried rice, chow mei fun, sometimes sweet and sour chicken. Their prices are great because you can get lunch special type deals for supper (main dish, rice and egg roll) for just a couple of dollars more at night. It saves a good bit of money that way. Also, their crab Rangoon and egg drop soup are delicious. The family that runs it is super nice - Highly recommend :) read more
