This is a gorgeous walkway in Sleepy Hollow along the Hudson River. There's a few docks or areas for fishing. Nobody gave me dirty looks for riding my bike. It wasn't that big and looks like they are adding to it. It offers a stunning view of the bridge and the cliffs in NJ.

We're very happy to see this walk just grew a little longer now connected to Charles Point.

Beautiful park! Clean and dog friendly. We had no problem parking. Short walk and adjacent to the park. Riverwalk market is nearby. We enjoyed our experience.

We came here on a beautiful afternoon to have a picnic. There are tables in the shade, but we spread out on the grass with a beach blanket. The environment is very relaxing and clean. Although the jogging path appears to go for miles. The area in which you can picnic in is limited. There is also a playground for kids, with a play area that mists out water for the kids to play in as well. This was a great little get away from the city.

The Westchester Riverwalk is beautiful. It's right along the Hudson River. My girlfriend and I went for a walk along it today and we really enjoyed it. It has a lot of little benches along the the Riverwalk to have a nice place to relax in the shade. The view of the Tapan Zee Bridge is spectacular. If you are in the mood for a nice stroll with a beautiful view, head to the Westchester Riverwalk.

It's in front of a development that was Edge on the Hudson before there was Edge on the Hudson (so much for the hype there). Views of the Tappan Zee bridge and Hudson River are unavoidable which is a very good thing. Decent amount of walking paths and benches, in addition to the dedicated picnic area. Plenty of parking although it is paid via the Tarrytown parking app. Playgrounds are a bit dated but in great shape. Everything has soft, spongy ground around it. Good variety for different ages too. Haven't done the splash pad yet because it's winter but it is pretty sizable. Good amount of kids around here without it being overwhelming. Maybe not the most built up park in the area, but my toddler loves it and so do I.

Admission is Free but there is a cost for parking Our Experience: we enjoyed spending the afternoon outside on this gorgeous spring day walking along the river walk and playing on the playground. The walk was absolutely stunning and the boys enjoyed walking along the path, exploring the lookout area, seeing the boats in the water and the airplanes/helicopters in the sky. Hands down my favorite part of the day. The playground was adorable with two separate sections designed for kids of all ages. While the equipment was a bit outdated, I loved that it had that soft type ground underneath it to (sort of) pad a fall. Both boys really enjoyed their time there. There is a covered picnic area so feel free to bring food and drinks! There is also a restaurant right there in the park as well as walkable restaurants in the downtown area conveneintly located close by. It was a gorgeous spring day and there were ZERO crowds with only a handful of people walking the path and only one other family on the playground. I was shocked at how quiet it was but thrilled to have the place basically to ourselves. Will go back?: Absolutely YES! CJ keeps asking to go back to "look for sharks in the water" ( lol) and to "play on the red playground" Pro Tip: it is WINDY by the water so whatever the temperature is outside, subtract a few degrees or add a jacket when planning how to dress for the day. #tristatemama #tristatearea #momlife #motherhood #kid #instagood #momsofinstagram #parenting #momblogger #momreviews #familyfun #makingmemories #nature #hudsonriver #1000hoursoutside #westchestercountyny #playgrounds #tarrytownny #nyplayground #strollerfriendly

Admission is completely free, although donations are accepted to help preserve this incredible place--which is amazing considering how well maintained it is. The breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Palisades make the visit even more memorable. There's also plenty of free parking, which makes getting there easy. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that it can get fairly crowded on beautiful weekends, but it's absolutely worth visiting and returning to throughout the year.

Visitors like me rave about the stunning, Greco-Persian walled gardens, dramatic Temple of Love, and sweeping Hudson River views, it offers a peaceful, cinematic, and highly rated escape for locals and out-of-state visitors. The landscape perfectly blends ancient-style ruins with vibrant horticulture, resulting in a peaceful, immersive retreat. I like the spectacular architecture, fountains, and beautiful floral arrangements. It is a tranquil escape from the city that delivers immense historical charm. Because the property is a former millionaire's estate undergoing a long-term revitalization, some guests note that portions can feel slightly unkempt or dilapidated. Parking can also become limited on busy, peak-season days. It holds an impressive 4.5+ average rating across travel platforms, with many reviewers calling it a "must-see".
