If you have a window or screen problem, Kingsley Glass is your best answer! When two of our windows went cloudy, I had a difficult time finding a glass company that would service our area (Cal City). While doing shopping down in Lancaster I chanced to run across their store. Best thing that's happened in a long time! The Kingsley people are very friendly and most helpful. They immediately sent a tech way out to Cal City to measure for replacement glass. In short order they had new glass installed and for a very reasonable price. While they were here installing the new glass I asked if they could order a pair of sliding screen doors for our large sliding glass doors to the patio. The builder of our house apparently never thought to get them originally. In an effort to get the correct screen doors for our glass doors, Kingsley contacted the manufacturer of the glass doors for our house. The manufacturer was very slow delivering a set of screen doors. When they arrived, they were the wrong size. Kingsley stayed after the manufacturer and weeks later a second set was sent. This set was the right size but did not include any locking mechanism. Kingsley went after the manufacturer again and weeks later a third set was sent. Finally, the screen doors were right. Through months of effort, Kingsley Glass and their tech Mike made sure they gave us the product we were expecting in spite of problems not of their making. They made a mistake with putting glass in our window frame. It took us an extra couple of days to go back and have it redone because of the weekend. Also, I think it was expensive. Almost $300 for new glass to be put in a window frame that was brought to the store. Once it was redone it looked and fit well. read more

So I came here to replace a couple windows they told me to come back at 3 pm they didn't have the windows ready and promised me that they would be ready by 5 pm when they closed i called at 430 and they were not ready I asked if it would be better for me to pick them up first thing in the morning they thanked me and told me 9am at the latest I called at 830 am and I was told 20 minutes ten minutes later they called me back and said another hour and just to be there in a hour so when I showed up a hour later a different lady rudely told me that no body called me and that I was going to have to come back in 1 and 1/2 hours my whole day has been ruined and I'm sitting in the parking lot next door 10:45 am still waiting for my windows read more

I would not recommend this company to anybody very unprofessional highly price. The reception by the name of Ruby is very rude and unprofessional. I waited a whole week for her to call me and I had to call back. when employees are making other plans customers don't need to over hear that. always enjoyed the company but getting lackadaisical regarding getting back to customers. rumors also circling around from employees (that we customers don't need to hear) or be involved in. there are a few other local glass companies that we've used and due to no follow up calls from this company with info we've been seeking&waiting for 2 plus months to hear anything (now even that's extended) time to utilize other glass company's. newest complaint on the company is wrong measurements on replacing windows. windows tried to be installed but are too large, incorrect measurements and only 1 guy coming out to do the upstairs windows alone by himself. he said impossible to do alone was frustrated and continually apologized for mis-measure plus it's in our bathroom (guess from wearing shoes in the tub) mucked up the bathtub standing in it PLUS we were never informed it has to be a safety glass window since it's in the bathroom, so now no new window, scratched tub, window being made again and now/still the wait continues. husband questions is there no work ethics any longer? sorry final straw, we'll use other company from now on. read more

We needed our window repaired ASAP the other glass business we had flaked the last minute and said they couldn't come to install for almost 2 weeks out so I called a couple of places and after being laughed at and told good luck on finding someone to install a window within a week I found Kingsley Glass. They came the next day to measure and see what exactly needed to be done and come to find out the plexiglass that was in our window frame use to be a screen so all we needed to do was slide over our stationary window. I appreciated the honesty and help from this company. Everyone was so nice including their front desk staff. read more

I've used Kingsley for all of my glass needs for more than 10 years. They have done custom shower enclosures, replacement windows, etc. They are very honest & will give you several options when they come out to measure. More than 10 years ago, I was set to order new windows in my kitchen (bay window + 1) & they advised me that my frames were in good condition & to just repair the dual paned glass. All is good to this day except for 1 window that needed replacement again--10 years later. It was a fraction of the cost for replacing 4 Windows. They are really all about customer service. I will ONLY use them for all of my glass needs. Very honest people. read more

I hired Kingsley Glass to replace a broken glass wall in my shower. I thoroughly cleaned up all the broken tempered glass ahead of time, other than a few pieces stuck to the edges of the seal, and I took lots of pictures. When the installer finally came (a month later than their original estimate, but I paid for the glass up front and couldn't switch companies at that point), he ripped out the old seal, dropping the remaining pieces of glass onto the shower floor. He then walked around in the shower in his boots - on the broken glass - to install the new glass wall. When he left, I opened the door to the shower to find a handful of pieces of broken tempered glass on the floor, boot prints across the shower floor, large chunks of sealant stuck to the floor, and several holes in the floor from where he had stepped on broken glass and moved his feet, tearing up the floor. The holes tore completely through the floor, and I could see the lining underneath - the shower was not usable in this condition. I got on my hands and knees and spent a half hour scraping off the sealant, which left the floor discolored. I took photos of the holes, called Kingsley, and asked to speak to the installer. He yelled at me on the phone when I described the issue, saying he didn't cause any damage, and hung up on me. I drove out to the office in an attempt to speak with his boss - upon arrival, I found out he was the owner. When I brought up the issues and said I wanted Kingsley to repair the floor, he began SCREAMING at me in the office. He was so into it that he literally spit all over my face. The poor receptionist witnessed the whole thing and looked as miserable as I felt. The owner insisted that he put a blanket on the floor and therefore did not cause any damage, and that I must be trying to scam him into giving me money. When I mentioned that the boot prints and sealant all over the floor meant that there wasn't a blanket down, he just about exploded. The whole time, he kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me finish a sentence before screaming at me again. He refused to cover a repair of floor. Later, the receptionist called, apologized for the owner's behavior, and said that she could send a repairman out to give me an estimate of the repair, but that her boss would only contribute $100 towards the cost of the repairman. The repairman estimated ~$400 to repair the holes with material that wouldn't match the shower, and ~$1,000 to make the color in the rest of the shower match. Getting a new floor (which was attached to the walls) would have cost several thousand dollars. In the end, I determined that I could repair the holes myself for less than the $300 it would have cost me out-of-pocket ($400 repair - $100 credit). So I bought my own materials and repaired the floor myself. The patches are visible, which annoys me, but the upgraded repair was too expensive. I am 100% positive that Kingsley caused the damage, and they refused to acknowledge the evidence proving this. I was very calm and polite when I went into their office; the owner immediately began yelling at me when he saw me, refused to let me finish a sentence, and spit all over my face. He refused to take responsibility for his actions. Overall, TERRIBLE customer service. I do not recommend this company at all. read more

I came for a custom glass panel cut for my 3D printer. Heard they would be good for it and I wasn't disappointed. They took my order for one custom glass piece (15 minutes before they were about to close) with no problem, very accommodating. I changed my order about 4 times before they took it back to get cut, super nice people and I was so happy with my experience. I know from experience how fabrication shops are run and they seem to have it very down. Very professional. I will be coming to them for all my other orders. read more

I had them come out and measure for a new tempered glass window. They came out and the installer was very professional and knowledgable. The gave me the price and I told them to go ahead. It was supposed to be done in like 1-2 weeks. After 3-4 weeks they finally told me like 9 days later they would install it. I told them they are taking way to long and they bumped it up for 2 days later. The main Secretary there was always professional also. When they told me the installer was going to be there between 12-2:00 and my customer texted me saying no one was there yet and it was 2:36, i called them and the other office worker ( Sara) was very rude and told me he was there and was working on the window. The way she said it was in a very rude manner. Things got worse from there and I will not do business with them anymore because of the rudeness of this office worker. read more

Have heard great things about Kingsley and the quality of their work. They were recommended to me by my realtor. Alas, I will never find out! They absolutely refuse to reply back to me with an estimate for some work, nor send anyone out. This has been going on for two months now! Even sent an e-mail with the specifications of the job. I have called multiple times and they are very apologetic, even once starting on the estimate while I was on the phone. However, they never followed up. Never left a phone message. Nothing. My realtor is pretty upset and will probably not recommend them again. I finally went with a competitor who returned an estimate the next day after I initially called. read more
