Scott told me that I would need some sort of piece of gold to reinforce the rings as they were soft. These items were not cheap. In order cover the cost, I sold two gold bangles to him. When I went in to pick up the final product, not only was I disappointed at how ugly the "fix" (the reinforcements were), he casually told me that he took the liberty of replacing my stones. NOT once EVER did he mention that or ASK me if I wanted the stones replaced. The "new" sapphire doesn't even look like like a sapphire -looks more like a tanzanite or aquamarine. I was so stunned, i left without saying anything. That was on me. That prompted me to look up the price of gold when I gave him my bangles to cover the cost. He waaaaay underpaid based on the price of gold at that time. Again, my bad because I didn't say anything. Just so disappointed and upset about the whole thing as the rings were a present from my deceased dad.
