DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Where do I start with my review (something I seldomly do unless the service was amazing or terrible in this instance it was the later!), as I am trying to figure out how this place is still in business and who actually gives them a rating that is more than 2 stars?! I have been going there for a year because they are 5 minutes from my house and I read the reviews which seemed legit, not true! I have tried to be fair and reasonable as I have given them multiple opportunities to address the issues I have shared with them over the last year. 1. I have had multiple articles of clothing ruined by them(picture attached of my white dress shirt which has black spots all over the back and sleeves as one of many examples and actually saw a review today from two weeks ago where another customer raised the same issues with her dress). This is one of many examples where they give me back my clothes with stains that weren't there when I dropped my clothes off which I can 100% assure you of as I have total OCD!! 2. The people they hire to work up front need listening lessons as they don't listen or hear one thing you say to them as I asked them 5 different times to saw buttons on my suite pants and every time I picked them up, you guessed it no buttons, despite me asking and the pants having a tag on them for buttons. This isn't isolated to these dress pants as it has happened to multiple suit jackets and dress shirts as well. When I point this out to the 3 different people that work upfront (guy with long hair, younger girl and girl with interesting make up) I get the exact same puzzled I have no idea what you're talking about aka I don't give a s....t apathetic look from each one of them. I can keep going, but I am sure if you are reading this you get the idea that unless you want your clothes ruined and receive terrible customer service there are plenty of better dry cleaners out there that won't ruin your clothes and at least pretend like they care when you are asking them something related to what they are being paid to do, like their jobs!! I asked to have my uniforms pressed by this weekend and they decided to put it in for the weekend after when I told them I needed them urgently for this weekend. I show up and that's when they decided to tell me. Don't come here for reliable service. read more

They lost my shirt and after 3 weeks of asking how they were to handle this situation and asking to speak to the owner they said he did not wish to speak with me. The only way they would replace my shirt was by making me go buy another shirt and bring in a receipt. I have been using this cleaner for 10 years and he was willing to lose me over 40$. Your clothes are not guaranteed to be returned or paid for if you use this cleaner. I am shocked. They lost my clothes and then were telling me what I needed to do. What if it was a very expensive garment and I didn't have the money to buy another ? If you use this store it is AT YOUR OWN RISK. read more

WORST dry cleaning place ever!!!! I took in 3 pairs of pants to get altered and they lost one pair. I got there and they said your jacket has not been dry cleaned yet. I said I didn't have a jacket and I did not ask for dry cleaning ‍ They said what was the other item? Mind you I drive all the way from Falbrook so this was a mission. They finally found them and said we won't charge you for the dry cleaning (that I never asked for) so I had to drive all the way back to pick them up annoying!!! read more

Brought my husbands military uniform here because Dorothy's was too backed up from ball season. And they gave him his Charlie's with a chevron on one of the sleeves and the other sleeve is completely missing a chevron. He made sure to ask the worker that everything was good to go and she told him yes even though the uniform was clearly not finished. read more

Went to get my granddaughter's dress altered the lady who was doing the alteration offered to alter the dress for free because she couldn't fit the dress in the machine because of all the beading we walked away with a perfect fitting dress and very good customer service would recommend to anyone read more

I had a TON of cleaning, about 15 pieces, that I dropped off in Friday night..and I needed it by Monday at noon (Veterans Day) for a work trip to Chicago. They said they would have it ready, no extra charge! They did have it ready and everything was cleaned, pressed and repaired (loose hem in pants) for their very reasonable regular price! If I could give negative stars I would. Very unprofessional here. Considering they handle a lot of military clients they should know how to tailor uniforms. The young girl that worked the counter insisted on raising her voice at me so that all the other people in the shop could hear. I had to tell her twice that there was no need to raise her voice , she continued to talk an say that the order was rushed. Our uniforms were never on order, we walked in and had them tailored. They messed up plain and simple. My daughters pants were to long, and one was longer than the other. So them doing a half ass job on the uniform my daughter got in trouble from her master sergeant. I've been going to Kingsmen Cleaners ever since I got to Camp Pendleton. I've had minimal issues with their services. The few times i've had issues, they were corrected without any hassle. I guess because they cater to the military and service a lot of military personnel they feel they can treat normal clothes like s*** they ruined my stuff they never take the spots out every time I've asked her a crease it never happens they're very dismissive and nonchalant when they make a mistake they're never willing to pay for it and when you want it fixed right there like you're picking up your clothes and paying for them they have nobody there to put a crease or fix anything it's quite ridiculous and kind of sad that they just capitalize on these young military read more

This place is not too bad. I have only used them once but plan on returning to them for future business. The customer service was pretty good, not the best, but not bad. It cost me around $70.00 for 24 items of clothing. I didn't think it was too bad considering i had a couple specialty items. They do all sorts of alterations for all services of the military. The first time I came here was with my husband for his dress blues. Which they did an awesome job with, everything was perfect and in place. So I figured since their prices were so great, I would have them do a few of my things too. I had them clean my wedding dress, which was super cheap for all the beading it had on it($60), hem two shirts ($8 each) and hem a ball gown ($60). They cleaned my dress fine. However, I had a few problems with them once they worked on my civilian clothes. When I came to pick up my items, they explained to me that their machine broke and could not hem one of my shirts, so I was not charged. But now I have an un-hemmed shirt... Also, when I tried on my other shirt, it was a bit short and the thread didn't match!! Wtf!! Red shirt with black thread??? Not okay. Also, I assumed that they did a decent job on my dress, and so the night of the ball, I noticed that they had not in fact even touched the hem!! I went back before our ball and demanded that they do something. So luckily, they were really nice about it and hand sewed the hem quickly so I would not trip. Then they told me to bring it back so they could fix it. I had to send it back once more because they did not hem it correctly. However, they did get the job done... A month out. Great customer service when things go wrong, however I should not have had to go through that. 5 stars for military uniforms and prices 1 star for my civilian clothing Balancing it out to 3. Only not a 2 because they tried their best to fix things. Unless you are military, I would only stick to them for cleaning, not hemming or alterations. read more

My sister who is a Marine always likes bringing her stuff here since she's been coming her for years. She recently came back to San Diego and had me bring some of her stuff on a Thursday. They said it would be ready by Monday and when I came in Monday the lady tells me it will be done by 6pm. She didn't tell us this Thursday. We don't live in north county so I had driven here to pick up my sisters uniforms. I came the following day to pick up her stuff and she rings me up, but my sisters cover is not done. The lady tells me I have to wait 15 minutes for the boiler to turn on. Luckily everything was done, but I won't be back to this place. read more
