I've never had any problems with the cleaners. Everything is always on time and the Service personal are always kind and professional.

Don't trust them with anything of value to you. They burned my blouse. A while ago I took my white silk blouse there, and when I picked it up it had dot stains and a large burn, that were not there when I first turned it in. They said they couldn't get the stain out. It wasn't a stain, they burned my blouse in their press permanently carelessly got and the burn was 5" x 4" size dark burn. Don't trust them. Their other excuse was, the silk is so delicate. DUDE, silk shirts are meant to be dry cleaned but they kept up with the excuses and would not take responsibility. Not worth my time arguing with people like them. Don't use this dry cleaner. They will destroy your clothes and not care and deny. I will never trust them again! read more

Don't go to this place; they are highway robbery. I've used them a couple years and I always thought they overcharged, but last week they wanted to charge $50 to repair a one-inch hole in my dress and $25 to clean it. Now we know where the phrase "taking someone to the cleaners" comes from. Took the dress to a second place that was going to charge $7 to repair the hole and $9 to clean the dress. I have to say that I'm shocked by the negative reviews here, and I've been a regular customer since 2016. The counter staff and the alteration specialist at PDO Cleaners have never been anything but warm and friendly. I love the inspirational message at the door and am grateful for the time it takes to keep it up-to-date. They're never late and my clothes come out perfect every time. Last time I forgot my dry-cleaning bag on the counter and a gentleman ran out after me to be sure I didn't leave it behind. Like I said, shocked. Plaza Del Oro Cleaners are simply the best! We've been taking our dry cleaning, drapes and alterations to them for three years. They get everything spotless and smelling great while taking care of delicate fabrics. I have odd measurements and take all my pants, shirts, and suit coats to them for alterations. Horrible customer service and a very cocky owner. I don't know if he is the owner but whoever the bald guy is he is very rude! Please don't give these types of people business. I walked into this cleaners and asked how much something would cost and was quoted two different prices. One by him and one by the lady who works there. I asked why I was given one price than a much higher one. The guy replied if you don't want to pay you can have someone else do it. And that I did for half the price down the street! I brought 3 pairs of pants in to be hemmed. No measurement needed. Steven quoted me $10 each, which was $2 cheaper than the tailor in the same parking lot. I offered to pay up front and he said to pay on pickup. When I went to pick up the pants two weeks later (with two more pairs of pants to hem) the girl behind the counter told me it was $12 per pair. I explained the quote and she got the owner. The owner accused me of lying to him saying the price was always the same. Why would I lie over $6?! The owner told me to come back the next day and talk to Steven and if he wanted to he could give me the $6 back. So I returned the next day (Sat) at 1:30pm only to be told Steven wasn't there and to try tomorrow in the morning. Why would I come back? I only returned to show the owner I wasn't a liar. Shame on them for losing a *NEW* customer over $6 and insulting my integrity. I ended up going down to Kathy's Tailor where they were very nice. Truly the worst dry cleaners. I dropped off an item to be cleaned and it looked exactly the same as it did as when I dropped it off. They also charged me $15 more than the price they quoted me when I dropped the item off. A modern-day fraud scam at its finest. Avoid this place at all costs. Save your time and money. They are beyond rude and the man that works there speaks down to women. They also charge $3 just to "package the item" AKA wrap it in plastic. I Came here to have my dress length shortened or Hemmed , I mentioned above ankle. Well they measured and everything however it did not come up to ankle Length like I wanted and requested . I would have to be charged twice to have it repaired again! The first time was already pricey, having to pay again twice for service that was UNSATISFACTORY and that I would be paying more than the amount the dress cost for me to buy is Absurd!!! The staff was argumentative and Places Blame at the customer instead of mending a service that the customer is not satisfied with! Awful place, I dont know about ther Laundry/Dry clean service but if the Alteration service was bad I would not Ever get any services done here. One bad experience is enough. I Can recommend other places that is in the same Plaza that can provide better service with reasonable price. (One staff tried showing me the piece of clothing that was cut from the length of the dress. What was the point, I asked above ankle! They measured and placed pins when I tried it on, however outcome was not above ankle). I am guessing that you have to provide your own measurement in exact inches and centimeters of how you want things cut, because if not, its the customers fault!). read more

I unfortunately have to give this 1 star. I wanted to like them as they are close to my house. When I picked up my sons white laundered shirts they both had several places including the inside collar that were still dirty. I told Becky this and she said that she did the best they could, Then I remembered that is the same answer the last time I brought in a shirt I feel like I should of been told when I dropped them off that there could be a problem getting it clean,as I pointed out the soiled areas then. I let Becky know that I would have to clean them again and therefore I didn't think it fair to have to pay for the shirts. She argued with me about it but finally agreed when I mentioned that I was going to talk to the owner. I brought in a pair of jeans to have the broken zipper replaced. I paid for the cost, picked them up, wore them twice, washed them once and the zipper was broke again. I noticed the zipper was never replaced, only temporarily fixed and I paid for what I thought was a replacement. I took the jeans back in and she agreed with me that the zipper only looked fixed and not replaced. She said they would replace the zipper and assured me there would be no charge. I went to pick them up when ready and she said I needed to pay a $6 difference charge for the zipper replacement. I understand that but I asked for a new zipper to begin with. Now I was inconvenienced with finding another pair of jeans to wear for work and 2 more trips back to the dry cleaners. I've been coming here for a few months and no issues. Then I brought my wife's $500 ballroom dress. It has gems and tassels which I was worried about but I asked the lady at the front if they could do it. She said they could just spot clean them and it would be fine. I was quoted about 2 days to clean. After 2 weeks of them saying they'd call when it was ready and then never calling I went in. I got the dress back and the tassels were all undone!!! They blamed us for getting a cheap dress. While $500 is not expensive for a latin ballroom dance dress, it is by no means cheap. They said they'd try to purchase new tassels and replace the destroyed ones. Again they said they would call, but they never did. The only way to get a response was to go in and talk face to face. After 2 months of arguing they gave me $100 for the damages, but I had to push. You'd think a dry cleaner knew how to deal with all types of materials. I warn anyone thinking of bringing dresses that are unique here. I will never go back here. read more

Went there to get my dress hemmed it was a two layer dress and it was simply too long. They quoted me $85! Given that the dress was only $80 I thought that was simply REDICULOUS! When I told the lady that she said she'd do it for $65... Uh no! So I went across the street next to dollar tree, college cleaners who quoted me $30 for being two layers! Seriously?! I have been using this cleaners for over 10yrs and have had an OK experience this whole time. Nothing great but compared to the other cleaners in the area they were the most pleasant and the prices were in line with all the others. I have had minor alterations (dress pants shortened) a number of times and they have been fine. I took in two pair of pants recently to be shortened and after a few wearings one of the pants had one of the legs come undone. OK, it happens. The real disappointment is that when I picked them up, from having a repair done on work done by them, I was charged for it. Not only was I charged for it I was charged more than I was charged to have them hemmed in the first place. When I challenged it I was told nothing could be done because the manager wasn't there. I am afraid I will have to find a new cleaners again .... what a disappointment. read more
