​Avoid at all costs--absolute worst service in the area. ​I've been coming here for ten years because I thought these people were professionals, but I was sadly mistaken. They charge $40 just to mount a 16-inch tire, which is already high. However, when the bead inevitably leaks because they do zero prep work on the rim, they will charge you another $40 to "clean the rim." ​When I asked why the rim wasn't cleaned the first time the tire was mounted, their response was that "I didn't ask." ​Cleaning the rim with a wire brush and applying sealant is the industry standard for any mount-and-balance job. At this shop, they simply slap a new tire onto a dirty lip and hope for the best. Even a budget service like Walmart includes rim cleaning in their $10 mounting fee. ​It is a major safety concern to install tires on uncleaned lips, and it's a predatory business practice to charge customers twice to fix a mistake that should have been handled during the initial install. had 2 tires go within a month. They never balanced the tires on top of that. When I went back to the shop, I could not find the receipt, as I just got back in town they looked me up found everything in the computer they asked for my license plate and ID to prove who i was. They then told me Well, you do not have the receipt, sorry, cannot help you. Then proceeded to make jokes about me in Spanish (i do not speak it but i understand it ) . when i told them i found the receipt but it was written in pencil so you cannot see anything then they wanted the shredded tire that the tow company took even though we have pictures of everything and it also caused my rim to bend from the blow out. I had new tires that I carried in mounted there. They quoted me $30.00 per tire over the phone, which is an average price. I forgot to mention on the phone that I had new TPMS sensors that I needed installed while mounting the tires. When I went there, I told the service desk about the sensors, they told me that would be $25 extra per tire. That's $100.00 extra to install parts that are basically valve stems. They told me they couldn't program them for my car (Volvo). I told them programming wasn't necessary, since Volvos re-program TPMS sensors automatically. In retrospect, Walmart charges $28 per tire, if you carry them in and they install TPMS sensors for free. I only went to Kingston tire, because there's usually a very long wait at Walmart. I should have waited and saved myself $100 extra. I gave them 2 stars because of their service on demand. read more

Over the weekend, my daughter and I came out of Kingston JoAnn Fabrics and discovered our front right tire was almost flat. I drove slow to the Jiffy Lube, who wouldn't change it, but who did put air in it to prevent damage to the rim. Jiffy Lube directed me to Kingston Tires to fix it. Again, driving slow with my hazards on, I pulled into Kingston Tire. The man at Kingston Tire informed me the rim was damaged and the tire beyond repair, but they could sell me a new tire for $147 or I could wait three days to get a tire like the other three. I had them put on the spare ($10 for the "diagnosis" + $25 service). Took my car back to Costco where I got the other tires; not only was the rim NOT damaged, but they repaired the tire and put it back on my car. It's 2024, but this to me looks like the Woman Tax, where they assumed I'm an idiot. Or they're idiots and don't know what a damaged rim looks like. Either way, they don't tell you the truth to make a buck, and I wouldn't trust them with my car or money. read more

Called first thing in the morning, very helpful over the phone. Came in within an hour of calling and got my flat tire inspected, quoted for a new tire, new tire installed all within about 45-60mins of pulling up. read more

I was visiting Kingston from northern New Jersey on aSaturday afternoon. Picked up a screw in my tire (if any of you locals are missing a screw you left in the roadway near Kingston, let me know. I have it.) and the tire was half flat. After I put on the the donut, I did a Yelp search and called Kingston Tire. It was a late Saturday afternoon and they cheerfully noted that they would be open at 9 am on Sunday morning. Dropped off the flat tire, went to breakfast at the nearby Kings Valley Diner (also good), and they were done with the repair before I returned. 10 minutes to get the tire re-mouinted, all the sensors adjusted and we were on our way. Car trouble 100 miles away from home is no fun, but this whole team made it an effortless and very customer friendly experience. Thank you! Used to have great service but went in for a nail in tire and not the experience I'm used to there

Went today had a nail in my tire,not crowded at all like mavis usually is, was helped right away and told 30 mins for fix , 15 mins later all done ! Amazing! I would've been at mavis for 2 hours,!!! Had my 5 yr old with me and she loved the fish tank and kids area for the short time , very nice , will be going here from now on for my tire purchases and tire needs new and used tires will be going here from now on , bye bye mavis read more

The owner and his wife are really nice people. Friendly, helpful, honest and did not try to sell you the world. I needed front driver side tire that blew and I got great deal on used tire that looked brand new for my Landrover. They had 2 so I replaced both front tires at once. 65.00 for each tire and $10.00 each balance rotate and install. Great deal. Owner and wife chatted with me for few minutes and bam my car was ready. Less than 20 min. I'm so happy to give my business to a small local family run shop not Mavis or Sears etc. Oh and they sell new tires as well very competitively priced. I will be back. read more
