We were with Dr. Sibel Johnson for at least 3 years for regular cleanings which I happily give 5 stars. Then in late May, Dr. Sibel insisted I get a filling replaced because of a tiny crack. Weeks later the tooth was still very sensitive and I was not able to chew on that side at all. Went in to get it looked at. She checked and started to use a drill-like tool to smooth it down because the filling could have been too "high". (Even though the blue stain test showed it was not.) I immediately told her to stop because it was very painful. She wouldn't listen and went back in for another round. Dr. Sibel had no sympathy even after I told her it was PAINFUL. Days later my tooth and jaw started to throb like hell. Finally ended up with a root canal. Very upsetting and suspicious since I've never had an issue with this tooth for at least 15 years since I've had a filling. I don't have a history of dental issues. This was my first root canal ever. Plus they did not review (as usual) any insurance concerns or copays for the two visits after the messed up filling. They notified me of a balance for those two visits after I said we would not be returning and to cancel all future appointments previously made. She also insisted my son needed surgery to fix his jaw. But after my incident, I have indeed found a new dentist because I do no longer have faith in Dr. Sibel Johnson's judgement as a dentist and because of her lack of sympathy as a person. Beware and get a second opinion especially when she insists on any dental work. Will save yourself a lot of money and pain!

He said he would have to check if they still have it as they delete these files because of the size, but nonetheless he would call me and let me know. No call. I called the office 3 times to ask and no call back. I gave up and decided to get a new scan as I had $$ in my FSA that I had to use or lose. I made an appt for 8am and the dr wasn't in yet. I waited for 30 min and still no doctor, so I left. I didn't get a call from them at all. They charge patients who don't show up, maybe I should charge them? I'm a long time patient so I kept my 6 mo appt, which was last week. The hygienist (who was great) mentioned there is a note in my file regarding a night guard, would I like them to scan my mouth at this visit? I said no but they checked my insurance anyway and it wasn't covered so I opted out. I did flat out tell the nice hygienist that this would be my last time here as the poor service shouldn't be tolerated. I am not holding my breath for a call.
