Renee was amazing with my two year old Daughter!!

We had our first visit to this office since moving from SoCal and our dentist experience for all three children were wonderful. The assistants Renee and Mario were both super gentle and caring towards all of my children's questions. And Renee was especially sweet with my two yo daughter. She was so sweet with her. We met with Dr. Jeremy and he was also gentle with all the kids and his demeanor is very kind and soft so my kids loved their experience here. The dentist thoroughly explained all of the procedures and any upcoming recommendations also explained in details what we should be watching out for. Very thorough experience and the staff was even super kind!!

We took our very "terrified of dentist" 4 year old to Dr Reddy and she has been nothing short of wonderful. She radiates calmness as do her staff, she has been kind to our child, literally talked her through the process and to put in simple words GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND! While providing the best dental care for our child. Our little one now says she would like to be a dentist like Dr Reddy when she is older to help kids that are afraid. & there is no better testimony than that of how wonderful this practice truly is.

Everyone we encountered was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain each step in a way that put my child completely at ease. The office itself is immaculate, i mean spotlessly OCD clean, comfortable, and clearly maintained with very high standards of hygiene. That gave us a lot of confidence, especially when it comes to dental care for children. It's hard to find a place that combines a truly friendly atmosphere with top-notch professionalism, but this office really delivers on both. I highly recommend them to any parent looking for a pediatric dentist who goes above and beyond to make the experience not only stress-free but genuinely positive.

**Extremely Disappointing Experience - Complete Disregard for Our Time and Our Request**…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but after what happened at Smile Big Pediatric Dentistry, I feel parents deserve to know. When I scheduled appointments for my two children, I specifically requested a **female dentist**. This was not a last-minute request,it was discussed during scheduling and documented in our file. Had the office informed me they could not accommodate it, I would have happily scheduled another day or gone elsewhere. Instead, when we arrived, a **male dentist** came in to examine my children. I politely explained that we had requested a female dentist and that this information should already be in our chart. He acknowledged the mistake and left. From that point on, the experience only became worse. The female dentist was notified, yet we were left waiting for **nearly four hours** while patient after patient was called back ahead of us. During that time, I approached the staff **twice** and explained that this entire situation resulted from the office failing to honor the request they had already accepted when the appointment was booked. Rather than taking responsibility or making any effort to correct their mistake, we were simply told to keep waiting. After four hours, my children were exhausted, hungry, restless, and understandably upset. No child should be expected to sit in a waiting room for that long because of an office's scheduling error. We ultimately had no choice but to leave without either child being seen. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I cannot understand is the complete lack of accountability, communication, empathy, or respect for our time. The issue was never the initial mistake,it was the way it was handled afterward. A pediatric dental office should understand that children have limits. Making two young children wait for hours because the office failed to honor a documented request is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope Smile Big Pediatric Dentistry reviews its scheduling procedures and treats future families with more professionalism and respect. No parent should have to waste half a day and leave with two disappointed children because an office refused to correct its own mistake.

Everyone in that office is professional while being sensitive to your needs. i haven't had a serious work done yet because they guide me on how to properly have good hygiene but every visit feels like home and i know i can share things about my dental hygiene without judgement. also there is nothing wrong with their front desk team. they are very sweet and understanding. they give many chances for redemption if their are any issues and they always have done their best to help with any insurance issues. if anything the insurance people are the issue not them. they don't force any treatments on you, they suggest you do the right thing for your dental hygiene and that's it. the rest is up to you. they make a plan for you and give you the ESTIMATES on any treatment that seems to need to be done. Dr. Whitehead is so sweet and very caring and thorough. i've literally had my teeth cleaned by all of the hygienist and i have had no problems. i will say i do have a favorite but i wont say (; and Dr. Whiteheads dental assistants, Natalie and Silvia are such sweet girls and we always have great conversations, they talk to me like they care and are very efficient in their work as well. Sylvina, the front desk manager, is such a sweet person and is very helpful with breaking down everything that comes a lot with the treatment and insurance. i've been going to Carus Dental for 3 years and don't think i would ever trust another office personally. but anyways with all that said and done, some of you people need to have some chill and think about how hard these ladies work for YOU. nobody is forcing you to do anything and your insurance is the one who brings all this extra havoc with your billing.

Shauntel was wonderful over the phone, answering all my questions and promptly booking me an appointment. She was there at the office to greet me along with the other office girl Liset, who was super welcoming. I had Jatera as my dental assistant - she was very bubbly and friendly and made the whole process instantly less nerve-wracking (after all, being at the dentist isn't exactly the most fun). Dr. Mai then came in for my teeth cleaning - she was as sweet as can be, and super thorough while still being mindful of my comfort (whatever numbing stuff they use is a game changer!). She was extremely competent - Dr. Mai diagnosed and fixed an issue with an abrasion on my tooth that had been causing me discomfort for over a year before I even had to mention it to her! I was very impressed. I had to make a secondary appointment to fill in a nasty cavity, but it was every bit as pleasant as my first appointment - they were able to get me in the very next week, and my dental assistant that day, Summer, was very kind - we chatted about our shared bookworm tendencies and she even gave me some reading recommendations. I was once again in the care of Dr. Mai for my filling, and she was awesome once again. If you're looking for a great dentist, this is the place. I cannot recommend them enough!!

I'm here to write an honest review after seeing some of the negative feedback for this place,…read morebecause I had a great experience, but I understand what some people are saying and I want to give my 2 cents: So first of all, I came here on accident lol. I went on my insurance's site to find a list of network dentists. I put a 5-10 mile limit. Why after I booked my appointment I come to find out that, not only was this place NOT within a 10 miles radius, it was in Kingwood on the other side of the world, the exact opposite of where I live, an hour away. Oops. Well that's my fault. But I needed to have emergency treatment for a deep cavity and the least I could do was get that taken care of, and I was able to get an appointment the very next day. I'm just gonna say, I'm not terrified of the dentist, but I get very apprehensive at the doctor's office nonetheless. I knew I needed work. I let my teeth issues get the best of me. I knew I was going to need a lot of work. It's been a few years ngl. The last time I was at the dentist (2 years ago) they said I needed 4 root canals and 2 cavities filled, with a price of 10K. Who got that kind of money to spend on 4 teeth? So when they did my exam I was relieved to hear I only needed 1, maybe 2 root canals and possibly a bridge depending on how I wanted to tackle a certain problem. So what can I say? Everyone was super nice. Professional. Empathetic. Dr. Hasan was supersweet. Alexa the finance manager was super professional and very good at building rapport and explaining finances. The place is clean, modern, in a nice area, and gave me no red flags. No one was rude. I had a positive experience. That being said, what did surprise me were the costs of services. I know it's been years since I've been to the dentist, but I wasn't prepared to hear $1200 for a deep cleaning, a few bands for root canals/crown, $1,000 for a possible extraction. I know inflation is rampant, but is that the ongoing costs now for these services??? When I read the comments it became clear that I wasn't the only one. So here's what I think is going on: Lake Houston Smiles Dentistry is a high end state of the art dental practice with a contemporary take on how oral health should be addressed. My personal consultation for the treatments involve terms and practices I wouldn't see in a regular dentist office (e.g. concentrated light therapy). In fact, I bet they would see most dental office doing "outdated" procedures, with outdated equipment. I really believe you're getting top tier treatment if you go in with that mindset (and wallet). I think the problem is marketing. I think they need to cater to an audience willing to pay top tier prices for high end oral care. This is not a place for budget minded individuals. I mean, Kingwood is a nice area so it makes sense on a geographical note. If this practice was set near the Galleria, I bet they would get 5 out of 5 stars. Overall, If you're willing to spend money for superior oral care, I would recommend this place. I didn't have a bad encounter with any staff personally. But there are way more affordable options that will meet your needs at a fraction of the cost, without the bells and whistles.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They will just try to tell you you need a "Deep Cleaning" They won't even give…read moreyou the "standard" cleaning that insurance pays for. Absolute RIP OFF! Waste of time. To EVERYONE in " TERMINAL K". I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else.... Anywhere else.
