Updated from 1 star. My experience so far has been horrendous and I will update if it changes. Today is my birthday and I came in and told them I was going to get everything (so spend a lot). I waited an hour for them to even put water in the pedicure bowl (I don't know what to call it). I definitely think it had something to do with the fact that the polish fell off the chair and smashed into a million pieces leaving a huge mess the second the chair started vibrating. One of employees had a very rude exchange with me as I was apologizing. Of course I felt awful. What saved this place was the one very sweet and kind person who worked on me. She could tell I was upset the whole time and kept looking over and telling me it is okay then eventually took me on. Her name is Mary I believe. I would have left had it not been for her and the fact I knew so many people in there at the time. I may try this place again because it is around the corner from where I live but a lot of staff needs to work on attitude towards walk-ins. I am a good tipper. read more

Used to go there with my daughters. They were nice enough people and usually did a good job, but sadly I had to leave after almost two years of going there every 3 weeks. I think they book too many appointments and we usually had to wait at least 15 to 20 minutes. At one time I was told to wait "a little bit" and they took my daughters after maybe 10 minutes when all of us had appointments at the same time. I waited and waited for over one hour, 70 minutes to be exact, for my turn. In a mean while bunch of other people came in and got their services while I was still waiting. When my daughters were done, they turned around and looked at me and told to wait JUST 10 more minutes. When I finally told them I could not wait any more they asked me if I would want to come back the following day or later in the afternoon. I politely told them that I would not want to come back ever again and left. Why would they take appointments that they could not keep up with? Why didn't they tell me they were too busy that day when I first got there so I could have rescheduled instead of wasting my time? By the way, I had to find another nail place in kingwood on that same day and I have been going there since then. read more

I recently moved not too far from this nail shop and wanted to give it a try due to all of the great reviews. I got lost and the owner assisted me in finding the place. When I got there, I was immediately greeted and given a bottle of water. The place is very clean, nice and relaxing. I told them I wanted a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The pedicure was horrible. The nail tech continued to dig into my nail and kept cutting my skin. She didn't finish my pedicure, Wendy finished my pedicure. Wendy was working on my manicure and I had to repeatedly inform her that my cuticles grow very fast and it's always a lot when I go to get them done. She coated my nails twice with a minimal polish as if they were trying to preserve the polish. As she was polishing my nails, she had to keep going back and cutting my cuticle because she didn't get it the first time. Not even a week later, two nails have cracked with a gel polish. I have never had this issue before. All the while, this took over two hours. I asked Wendy is she was new to doing nails and she said no, she's been doing it for four years. I couldn't tell because of how slow she was going. I will not be going back to this place or recommend it. read more

I have had a good experience here before. But today was not the case. My daughter and I had an appointment for 4:30, she was going to get a refill and I was going to get a pedicure. I told the lady that I want to do basic pedicure with the salt scrub. I was in last time they charge me five dollars extra for the salt scrub. She was finishing up when I asked about the salt scrub and she had no idea what I was talking about because she did not speak English. We had an appointment for 430 but by 535 my daughter still had not been seen for a refill even though plenty of people that I come in after her were seen before her. We finally pay for the pedicure and left. They apologize that they were so busy that they could not do her refill. We will not be back. read more

The worst nail salon I've been to. My sister and I wanted to pamper ourselves when she came to visit from out of the state. We decided to go get mani pedis. When we walked in a young boy (8 years old maybe?) greeted us and handed us a menu for services. If that wasn't strange enough when he led us to our chairs HE got the water ready and asked us if we'd like a glass of wine! after we declined a man came over and started working on my sisters feet. I sat there with no one working on me for 20 min. When the man was done with my sisters toes he asked her "like, yes?" And she looked down only to find that he had painted not only her toenails, but about an inch of her toe as well! When she pointed this out he called the little boy over to translate. The little boy said the man did that to make her toenails seem longer. REALLY?? She requested a different employee come redo her toes. A woman came over and did what she asked, but was talked to her fellow workers in Korean the whole time, making us feel like she was talking poorly of us. After the fiasco of our pedicures, we decided to skip the manicures. We paid and left. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out we were both SO uncomfortable. The service here is great. I went in for a shellac manicure and a pedicure and I was really impressed. They give you a great massage with the mani/pedi and were very attentive and detailed while working. They also have a good variety of colors to choose from for shellac. Excellent place! read more
