Stopped by this super cute grocery store while in town for a vacation. It has everything you need…read moreto bring to your hotel room or Lake House and have an enjoyable time. Just off the main drag in a plaza, this supermarket is great for grabbing essentials, beer, and more. It's the main grocery store servicing the entire Lake Placid area. I used the bathrooms which were clean and easy to find. They had the makeup remover wipes I had forgotten, and great snack options for the drive back home. I would recommend anyone coming into town to stop here!

After asking, I was told that they were out of stock of them, but the sales woman there offered to call a store down the road to see if they had them. Small town friendliest at its best! If she was this friendly when it was my first time in there and not a regular customer, I can only imagine how good their customer service would be to regulars.

Ran in to pick them up on my way home from picking up some last minute party supplies at the Grocery Store. They were not done. Store Associate had no idea about coasters offered online and did not have the supplies to print. My party was two hours away and I was really upset that these things were not done or a call made to let me know there was an issue. Well on the off chance I contacted the store across town to see if they had supplies. They had the needed print stock and said they would make every effort to get them done . They saved the day had all my printing done as promised and I loved how everything turned out. Thanks for saving the day !!!

The pharmacy department is decent and quick, the staff is informative to the situations that arise. Bug draw back- bathroom. Don't come here to use the bathroom in the summer. The line is usually backed up and after a few people it statutes to smell funny- not the fault of the staff (tourist).

9/12/17 While here…read moreon vacation my husband had a freak accident - while cutting a sausage the hot juice squirted in his eye burning it - a quick stop to Kinney Drugs and we got very courteous help from the young attractive female pharmacist on duty - she immediately knew what to suggest and after few applications of the eye drops his was fine - how refreshing to be so far away from home (Maryland) and receive such kind help.

I was visiting Tupper lake on vacation and had forgotten my levothyroxine - my dr called in a…read moreprescription for me and when I went to pick it up, they mentioned it had gone through my insurance - I have medical insurance but not prescription drug ins, so I told them I didn't have prescription coverage - but the price was $10 and I said that's the normal price anyway so all was well - I then said I know Walmart has a 90 day supply for $10 and the older male pharmacist yelled this isn't Walmart!! - I told him I knew that, I was simply saying that Levothyroxine isn't expensive anyway so it's fine - so he then says Do you want it or not - and I said yes I needed it and you really don't need to be rude to me - I was simply saying it was fine So then the woman waiting on me was rude about answering questions in her screen and signing when her screen was being slow - Then before I left the male pharmacist said nicely to me, because he probably realized what an ass he was, Robin, you do have blue cross blue shield and I looked at him and told him that is correct, I do have them, but I do not have prescription coverage and I thanked him for obviously knowing my insurance when he doesn't know me - and I walked away and said he was an arrogant ass - I told them in the front that their pharmacist was an arrogant ass as well and they asked me which one and I told them the man.
