Genuinely the BEST ramen I've ever had! 4 stars because the appetizer flight was underwhelming but the pork bone ramen is a solid 10/10. I rarely finish any leftover broth when I go for noodle soup but I wiped that bowl clean, lol. My friend and I ordered a fried appetizer flight which included chicken karaage, takoyaki, and chicken gyoza. The presentation was great, takoyaki was above average and gyoza was good as well, can't go wrong with that, but it wasn't anything memorable. But the karaage was pretty bland, didn't have the same crispiness or style of breading I'd typically expect from other Japanese spots so I wasn't a huge fan of that. My honest suggestion would be to just skip the appetizers entirely and go straight into the ramen as that's their specialty anyway. Plus, the portion sizes are very generous, even though we split an app it still felt like a lot of food. Now for the ramen, I ordered the Signature Tori Paitan with thin noodles and BROOO. I swear it was the best tonkotsu ramen I've had yet (at least in the West), and I've tried a lot of ramen restaurants across the US and Canada (haven't been to Japan yet but I'd like to imagine this would be close). The noodles were fresh and chewy, the broth was rich and super creamy without being disgustingly greasy (ifykyk). Chashu was delicious as well, I usually prefer pork chashu but the chicken was actually my favorite between the two, it was really impressive to eat chicken breast THAT flavorful while also being soft and juicy. I wish they gave at least one or two more slices of meat because the protein portion was very small. The other toppings were a great addition, bringing the right amount of freshness to balance out the broth. My friend ordered the Truffle Tonkotsu ramen and that was delicious as well. VERY heavy truffle flavor with oil, paste, and shavings being used- so if you're not used to the earthiness and richness of truffle, I'd suggest to order the paste on the side or something. She got hers with thick noodles and I actually liked her noodles more than my own! They only had one dessert available which we skipped, but overall the dining experience at this place was great! We would definitely come again when we're in the area, probably just to order the ramen by itself. The atmosphere is also super cute, small, but perfect for a date or to spend some time with friends and family without too much noise. Highly recommend Midori Ramen!

Solid ramen restaurant - the space itself is bright and clean, and the ramen is decent. They have a good selection of appetizers, although the portions are a bit small. The purple yam fries are very good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - they pair perfectly with the honey butter dipping sauce! We tried the signature ramen, the truffle ramen and the gyudon. The broth base seems to be the same for all the ramen options, which is creamy but not particularly flavourful. Most of the flavour profile came from the toppings (truffle/beef in the gyudon).

I like all of the different ramen options they have, there is something for everyone to try. There is a vegetarian and non-pork options as well. I got the spicy ramen with the pork and chicken, corn, onions and bok choy. The broth is creamy and delicious, it is flavourful and very filling. We also ordered some chicken gyoza which was equally delicious.

I really enjoyed the Ramen at this location as their Signature Tori Paitan has a super creamy and flavorful broth. You get a choice of thin or thick noodles, which makes a good customization option. I appreciate a good tamago, and their yoke is perfect. I slurped down the whole bowl and didn't leave a drop of broth.

food is great the taste is really good. i did give 3 stars as there are 2 things i didnt like. First is the serving of the meat. the slice of the meat is as thin as a bacon but when i see from food influencers it is a chunk of meat. it is false advertising when food influencers have the great serving but regular customers dont have the same serving. I honestly did give this a try as i saw one food influencer promoting it. Second, is the price. compare to other ramen place this is very pricey knowing that i also have to pay for eggs. normally ramen place eggs is included. don't get me wrong i like the taste and it nice to try. it just that didn't hit my preference when it comes to ramen. I went to the North York Location. Atmosphere is great i like the place very nice and clean. and staff are friendly.

My husband and I were shopping at Ikea in North York and decided to grab a quick dinner. We stumbled upon this highly-rated ramen place, and it definitely lived up to the hype! We tried the Red Spicy Vegetarian Ramen, and it was amazing. The tofu nuggets were something I'd never tried before, and they were absolutely delicious. The ramen itself was packed with flavors and had just the right amount of spice. I'm sure their other ramen options are just as good. Service was super quick. The place had Japanese vibes and open kitchen. Sitting arrangements were super cozy.

Delicious ramen spot! Came during dinner hours on a weekend and it was surprisingly not too busy. Their ramen is delicious and broth is rich. The portion felt a bit small initially, but we quickly realized it's super filling. Their appetizers are also quite tasty too, they pair well with ramen and have a nice textural crunch. The staff are also amazing! Super kind and make great recommendations, they really made us feel welcome. Our server was so lovely, I didn't catch their name, but she had a cute blushed makeup look.

We for there ramenlicious. Every 2 weeks they have a new ramen. This week was Matcha ramen. It was ok, Matcha powder are only at the top and after you mix it or eat more the powder will go the bottom. You can really taste it till the end. When you do taste it you it does help break the fattness of the broth. The Staff was kind and friendly. Space was a but tight

Willowdale's newest ramen shop is Midori Ramen, coming in as a strong competitor with a fantastic set of appetizers and ramen on the menu. Their signature Tori Paitan ramen comes with both pork and chicken chashu, an egg, and a variety of garnishes to add extra texture and aroma. You have the option of thin noodles, thick noodles, as well as kale noodles if you're looking for an alternative. The chicken is incredibly tender, while the chashu is firm with a nice torched finish. The broth is creamy and with strong chicken flavour. Ordered a side of karaage and duck tataki. The karaage was incredibly juicy, and also very thick in size. Some places really cheap out on the meat so this is excellent value. The duck had good texture and subtle flavour. Worth a try. Midori ramen already has multiple locations across the GTA but this is definitely very convenient for those around Yonge and Finch or Sheppard.

My friend & I went to Midori for dinner at 7pm, and it was not so busy. The restaurant is cozy and spacious. We ordered Red spicy chicken ramen and soyu chicken ramen, and the food came within 3 minutes. Both ramen were okay, no surprise on the soup base and noodle. The soup base were not rich enough. I think there is other good ramen place in north York.

Based on my experience, the best Japanese ramen I've had in Toronto has been exceptional, regardless of the broth flavor. I particularly enjoy the black garlic oil broth, though the sides are just average. Overall, the food quality at this ramen shop is very impressive. so far我喺多倫多食過最好食嘅日式拉麵,無論任何湯底,都非常好味,我特別鍾意黑蒜油湯底,不過小食就一般般,但整體食物質素非常出色嘅。

I've…read morebeen disappointed by countless bowls over the years, from Michelin-recommended shops in New York to overhyped social media darlings that make you wonder whether the people promoting them have ever had truly great tonkotsu ramen. Konjiki is good, far from great, but very solid. The broth has the right consistency with a satisfying richness, falling just a touch short of the deep, creamy intensity I personally look for. The noodles were cooked perfectly, maintaining just the right amount of bite. Nothing ruins a bowl of ramen faster than overcooked noodles. The soft-boiled egg was equally well executed, with a perfectly jammy center, and the chashu had excellent flavor and texture. My biggest criticism isn't what's missing....it's what's added. Like many ramen shops outside Japan, Konjiki includes pickled ginger, pickled takana, and braised bamboo shoots. For me, none of them improve the bowl. In fact, I think they distract from what should be the star of the show: the broth. In hindsight, I could have easily asked for them to be left out, but I've never really understood why they're included in the first place. Even so, this is a very respectable bowl of tonkotsu ramen and one I'd happily order again.

Initially looked busy and thought there may be a wait, but the line was actually for the dessert place that shares the same entrance. I usually switch up my order between the Clam Ramens (shio and shoyu). Can definitely say that these are always made consistent (at least on every visit I've had), so there's no surprise. My friend ordered the Avocado Vegetarian Ramen as part of a set. We were both intrigued by the taste of the broth. It was creamy, but not super thick, and had a fresh, vegetal taste. One miss this time was that my friend ordered a drink, but unfortunately it did not come out at all while we ate. We mentioned it when asking for our bill and asked that it just be cancelled, which the server was apologetic about. Interior is kept clean, which some table seating along both walls and also a long high-top bar (communal) in the middle. There's isn't any parking designated to the restaurant, but there's options for paid street parking a short walk away.
