Was looking for a good Mexican restaurant and found this place. It's on a main street, but good parking in the back. From the front, looks like a diner, but the menu had a good number of Mexican dishes. I ordered the beef chimichanga and my husband had the pork carnitas in green sauce. Waiting for the food to arrive, our waiter brought us fresh chips with salsa. This was the Best chips & salsa I've ever had! Awesome. Overshadowed my chimichanga, which was good. Husband liked his pork carnitas too. We were so stuffed, no room for dessert. So we brought home a mocha flan. Later that night, I tried it. It was great, definitely homemade. My only wish was a bigger piece, lol. Overall, a very good meal. You've got to try this

I saw the restaurant earlier in the week and decided I wanted to give them a try. Stopped in for lunch and the experience unfortunately was neither good nor bad. The see it was fine. The gentleman who took care of us was quick and helpful. The decor was just what you could come to expect from a diner. The food was just ok. The menu is quite extensive-from breakfast to lunch and dinner. You could have Greek, Italian or Mexican. I decided to stay on the safe side and just ordered a Cuban sandwich and my son ordered a buffalo wrap. The food came out quickly and as ordered but it was a huge miss on flavor. There was absolutely nothing memorable about the sandwich. The prices were not bad but I think I may pass on lunch and dinner and may go back for breakfast.

This place is always empty when I enter it but the food is amazing. It's always fresh and tasty. It's a Mexican restaurant so I always go for meals from their country. Go in and see for yourself.

Clean place and very friendly staff. Nutella shake was delicious, as was the rest of the food. Family friendly space too.

Let's begin a rainy day review!…read more So Blue Agave came up on my Activity Feed after an Elite I had met at a previous event had reviewed it themselves, and I had been kind of wanting to give Blue Agave a try ever since. Actually, if not for Southern Classic Daiquiri Factory which opened much closer to the station, I would have come here last month. Better late than never I suppose? So anywho, I made my way over on the way home from an in-service training at work. Honestly, other than having to cross a gas station across the street from it, this was pretty straightforward to get to. Like the same reviewer I had learned about this place from, I too was at first confused upon arrival. In my case, it was because the right side had their lights on, making me wonder if it was two places with one being closed. Turns out, they're both part of the same location! So I went inside. Now, because I was kind of in a hurry, I had to do take-out, and thankfully, service obliged without complaint. It was easy to pick up a menu and make clear what I had wanted to order. This is something in which this place succeeded at where another Mexican restaurant just walking distance from my apartment back home was completely failed. That way, when I finally made my order, I knew what was getting. I went with the nachos chorizo, and they gave me all the works (without the tomatoes of course because I don't put tomatoes in my orders if I can help it). I also got the fruit punch soda in a glass bottle. I will say, if you get soda like this, make sure you have a bottle opener. I used my handheld blade kit that had a bottle opener as one of the tools and used that when I made it all the way home. The drink was good (definitely drink this cold if possible), and so were the nachos. Actually, the chorizo nachos would be perfect for those who prefer a little spice in their foods. These definitely had a decent kick to them, and the jalapeños only accentuated this. The chorizo is juicy, and the cheese is tasty. You can see some onion, avocado, and I think there might be refried bean in there too? Either way, this comes together quite well I must say. I would say Blue Agave is off to a pretty good start here. I'm gonna hold off on a 5 for now, but I'll gladly give it a 4. I'd be more than happy to try out a few more items here in the future and get a better look around the place next time.

At first I thought they were closed, but their light was just off awaiting a customer, so don't be discouraged to walk in if you see the light off. They been open for 3 months now. We ordered several tacos of chicken, chorizo (very spicy), and mixto that comes with lengua, steak, and al pastor. My favorite was the steak. Everything was seasoned well with good portions. Only complaint is that the chicken could have been juicier. Inside they sell hand crafted items. My man bought the boot shot glass and I got the clay salt and pepper shakers. So if you're passing around, I suggest you give them a try and support this family businesses.

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there were no cars in parking lot so I was unsure if they were open. They were. I entered and it took some time before I was acknowledged and I almost left...but after waiting at front I was told to sit wherever I chose; the place was empty and I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was gracious, friendly, and accomodating. Super guy. I ordered a margarita and nachos with steak. Both were delivered quickly. Tortilla chips were said to be made in house, but these were not. They were multi.colored and not made in house. Nacho cheese from a can, not cheddar as advertised. Like the cheese you get at a 7 11 or gas station. Yuck. I was not impressed at all by nachos or steak and at $18 would never order again. Service was top notch and friendly, and the place was clean, inclluding the restrooms. Great Happy Hour deals daily so may return for that but cannot recommend the nachos.
