I have a 2021 Ram 3500 dually and the exhaust filter was full with warning light telling me to take it to dealer for repair, so I did. I took it to Rick Williams Ram in Weatherford and after 3-4 days I got a repair quote of $15,000! I did some research and found Kirby's...gave them a call and even stop by there to make sure we were on the same page as far as the repairs. Well I was told by shop foreman Reid Smith that they could remove the exhaust filter and clean it and reassemble it all in 1 day, and Im here to say that's exactly what they did! I was so satisfied and overjoyed with the job they did not to mention the money I saved. Anyone dealing with the same problem I'd recommend Kirby's radiator service for sure! I dropped of a radiator and a week later decided to check on as I hadn't heard anything from them. I spoke to Van and he stated both headers would need to be reset and would be a waste of solder and would cost around $400.00. question to Kirby's: don't the customers have to pay for materials? I got a second opinion and was quoted less than $150.00 to clean and repair my radiator including resetting both headers if necessary. It sounds as if they are picking and choosing what they want to do. It would less insulting if they would have told me upfront they didn't want to work on my radiator. read more

To all that seek radiator repair do yourself a hude favor !!!! keep looking !!! christian brothers, they hands down are the best !!! they would have cost maybe $150 more but you know what they say ( you get what you pay for) oh yeah, christian brothers also gives you a warranty that last 3 years and nation wide. and this is why you need to stay the hell !!!! away from these guys. 1. when the work was done a i picked my 2018 ford f250 i noticed my 3 raptor light bar wasn't there any more, so i went in to ask the manager where was my 3 light rapter lighhts so he went to ask the mechanic was ( no surprise to me, how convenient)! so the manager said he would call me right away when the mechanic came back from lunch. so about an hour later the manager call me back and told me the light bar was in truck, thinking is maybe on the back on the bench seat or in the bed of the truck. hell no, the dumb ass mechanic zip tide it to the inside of my the front bumper on the backside. i only saw it bacause at night time in my garage i just happen to see the orange reflection on the ground as i walked by the front of my truck. then as i was looking and thinking maybe the mechan just didn't click my drivers side headlight buld all of the way and i could just reach down behind the head light and clip it back together, nooo ! another half ass job i couldn't believe !! the mechanic tried to hide my headlight wiring harness with zip ties again !!!! to make matters worst when i look at the headlight male side by forcing the 3 prongs into the female side it snapped one of the prongs off into the harness female side. so now i need to find that portion of the harness from a junk yard and solder the harness back together.... so when i called the manager back from Kirby's radiator shop and asked him what day i could bring it in for them to fix it ( after all i took date and time pictures of my truck with all of my headlight on because i learned a long time ago to take pictures of your stuff before you take it in to be repaired, and take a picture of your odometer as well)!!! the manager told me you can bring your truck and we can look at it but then he asked me ( what do you expect me to do about it) i said fix it because it was not like this before i dropped it off !!!! like most buisness these days and especially kirbys radiator shop read more

Kirby's delivered when no one else could. I had a fixture on my new radiator (not purchased from Kirby's) that was not present but very necessary for proper function. I went to two O-Relly's and the dealer. Apparently no such part exists. I was told I would have to manufacture the part myself. I tried, however, the pieces of the part do not exist to ordinary consumers. Guess what. I walked into Kirby's, and 5 minutes later the part was placed in front of me. I brought a fuel tank to the that had gas sitting in it for 17 years in hopes that they could clean it out. Refurbished fuel tanks for my particular car go for around $450-500. They told me they couldn't clean it out because some of the lining wouldn't come out. When I asked for the fuel tank back, they got very irritated (like the decided they could make more money refurbishing it and selling it to somebody else). When I got the fuel tank back, the had drilled a large hole in the bottom and the too of the fuel tank rendering it useless. Our plan was to put a fuel cell in the car eventually but use the tank with a prefilter just to get the car to run so we know what else needs work on the car. Now we are stuck with sticking the hose into a gas can until we can fix the holes. Also, when I looked inside the tank, it was super clean. In all honesty, it really wasn't all that bad when we sent it to them. This really slowed me down and now I have to repair the tank and I will coat it myself because of their shadiness. If you have a rare fuel tank and they say they say they can't clean it, they are probably selling it to someone else. I wouldn't mind at all if they charged us for their time and gave now warranty but after I saw the wholed and how clean it was when I got it back, they have proven how slimmy their business model is. read more

I needed a radiator fixed but need an exact appearance I was told I would not be able to tell the difference between the radiator I had dropped off and after they repaired it. Cost over $400 for an unpainted radiator that doesn't match what is needed or promised for the car if I didn't need the caps I would have just left it there. I Purchased a radiator for my BMW 330ci. It Leaked immediately. I removed it from the car & brought back to have leak tested. They said it didn't leak. Reinstalled in car and it leaked again. I removed it with all the ancillary components and they tested everything and determined that the expansion tank was leaking. I purchased a new tank and hoses from BMW and it still leaked. Kirby's insisted that the radiator was not the issue and that they would give me a call back in a few minutes. Of course, they didn't. I removed the radiator for the 4th time and replaced it with a new unit from Autozone. It fit better and guess what? NO LEAKS!!! read more

I originally called and was told that this would be a $45 fix. After arriving I was told that it needed the neck replaced and would be an additional $35. This seem reasonable to me. When my wife arrived to pick it up it was $126. I call the owner and he explained that the damage is more significant than he thought. I find is a little hard to believe considering it was a brand-new radiator purchased from his company. I do not believe I will be heading back here again. read more

I do not recommend Kirby's. When I picked up my Pathfinder from a radiator change, I noticed a screw missing on the top engine cover. Not a good sign. I pointed it out and they found another screw to fit (not original). On way home, transmission started hard shifting. Checked fluid level and had to add 2 quarts. I called Kirby's to express my concern and was told no way it would lose 2 quarts on a radiator change. The transmission cooler lines had to be disconnected to change the radiator. I call B.S. This was a couple years ago and I just blew it off until today when I was changing the oil, I noticed a screw missing from an A/C bracket. This screw would have had to be taken off to change the radiator. It did not get put back on. No telling what else was not done. Very unprofessional. Jay read more

Finally found an affordably place to clean my DPF filter. I was able to drop my truck off in the afternoon and they had it ready for me around lunch the following day.
