When I voted here, in the Senior Center, it was great to meet and greet with volunteers from the Senior Center who told us more about the activities they do on that side. They put on social events and dances and educational programs. I would have never known. There is a Louduon Rec Center Guide that comes out seasonally. Within it, there are classes for kids and adults on activities at the rec center and surrounding. I signed up for a few things for our family members and other than one event, they all were exceptional! I recently came for a Play All Day event. There was demonstrations in the lap pool, scavenger hunt in the leisure pool for kids, Bounce houses outside, dancing class for seniors, live band and food trucks, etc. It was amazing to see the facilities and use the rock wall for free. The daily passes to the rec center are so reasonable too with $6 for adults and $4 for kids. They even have family passes if people from the same house hold are coming together. As I continue to discover more and more about the recreation center, and meet all the wonderful people that work here; I continue to get more and more amazed at this place and their offerings. It's great running into your neighbors and bonding with the new summer staff from local high schools.

The locker room is clean and well-kept and they even have a family changing room which comes in so clutch for my husband and my daughter. The total cost for an afternoon of fun is approximately $40 for a family of four, which is a total steal. Add in a trip to the nearby Chick-fil-a and you are in kid heaven. It took me a minute to find a parking spot but again, lot of very big for the size of the facility. When checking in, there is no questioning for guests, which I liked. I didn't have to talk to anyone or fill out a form. I just got to go and do the classes. When walking thru the main level, there is a whole basketball court, pickleball court, child care, FULL locker rooms (that are huge). You go upstairs and huge weight training room and group fitness classes. I love Heidi's Barre classes. Everything is so clean, looks so nice and welcoming. The reason for 4 stars is the price of the membership. $170 seems silly.

They do such a great job closing the pool that is it always ready to use within 24 hours of opening in the spring - clear water and perfectly balanced chemicals. This year, I unfortunately had mice eat through some of the elements for my pool heater and Dima came out to troubleshoot and fix quickly. He even cleaned out the mess the mice had made and took steps to deter them from coming back. Dima also spent a great deal of time completely rewiring my pool pump and equipment (it was wired wrong by the pool builder) so I could control everything via the app. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy residential pool service definitely use DMV Pools!

A day pass is only $6 which is a steal compared to Fairfax rec centers and PW county Freedom Center. I only came to use the pool but staff was super friendly and welcoming. They have a huge rock wall that no one was using and multiple exercise machines in use but no apparent lines. The vibe was very "community" with all ages and types of folks. Many apparently meeting up for their daily outings. Lots of "Hi and How are you" from neighbors. Went at about 8:30 am on a weekday. the pool is beautiful. The temp is very cool, but refreshing. No waiting, plenty of lanes for Laps. The locker room is clean and very private with individual showers. I will definitely return. It opens at 5am on weekdays which definitely puts it in a category by itself
