Let me just get straight to the point... The ice cream was terrible. It was the generic ice cream from Walmart (BlueBunny). The "Hot" fudge was cold as well as the caramel. One of the employees got our order wrong, and our orders showed up in plastic bowls. We ordered a banana split, and it looked absolutely nothing like how the picture presented it. The ownership is awful and the people are blunt and rude. Prices were outrages. We ordered three ice creams for over $30. That's not all... It is cash only which makes things a hassle and very inconvenient for their customers. They have an ATM machine there, but it requires you to pay $2 to be able to take out money from. Overall, a horrible experience and we will never EVER be coming back. read more

The four of us strolled up to Cindy & Jims after a nice fun night of dinner & mini-golf. Cindy was working while Jim sat out front and did nothing. I felt extremely rushed as I was ordering. Almost like I was inconveniencing Cindy. The service only got worse as the walk up window was shut in our face as soon as we ordered, and then once again when we paid. We realized we were over charged so we politely mentioned it to Cindy. After some confusion Jim decided to give us ice cream for free. The problem was that we already payed $8 for something that was only $6. In the end a $5 bill was handed back to us as Cindy said "Here... go somewhere else" and proceeded to shut the window and cut the lights off outside. I saw others having the banana splits and Cindy's apple pie treat and they were HUGE - plenty to share. It's kind of a walk up ice cream shop that you just go to a window and order from there and just sit on some outside chairs but it's amazing. They had good prices too. We went to an ice cream shop that wanted $5 for one scoop and Cindy and Jim's were around $3 a scoop. We went to about three or four other ice cream shops during our vacation and just ended back to Cindy and Jim's because they were the best. Will be going back each time we go on vacation.
