Usman and his incredibly capable crew restored and repaired my 6 story townhouse back exterior and…read moremy roof, which are made out of EIFS stucco. We had hired a structural engineer to add flashing to balconies as well as ceiling fans. When he added the fans, he cut into the EIFS and did a very poor job patching the channel he cut to hide the electric. This caused condensation inside the home and required immediate repair. Usman is a class act. He personally showed up to the project himself every single day. He also did certain parts of the project himself or was helping his men in any way he could by doing various tasks. The roof needed a sauna removal, which Usman and his crew did with extreme care, but also left lots of damage to the EIFS stucco. Usman and his team carefully repaired it. Upon repair, he inspected our roof and found many critical issues we were unaware of. It was not done in a "pushy contractor" way, it was done because he knows his business and his products so well, he wanted to figure out why the roof was requiring so much product and because he is INCREDIBLY detail oriented. It was because the EIFS was getting wet due to exposed limestone joints, which over time would have meant we would have to redo the entire EIFS (a very big and expensive job) and he also found an immediate future issue which would have caused a leak. We were able to fix and get ahead of both, while staying on the original timeline. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated Usman and his team's attention to detail from start to finish of the project. Over the past 8 years in my townhouse, I have put a lot of work into it. It is tricky to find a great contractor. One that is not only talented, but also cares about his work AND his workers!!! That is a true sign to me of a wonderful company. He not only ordered lunch for his crew, he ALSO ordered lunch for my housekeeper and myself! I kept calling my husband and telling him how kind Usman was and how thorough. He is EXTREMELY thorough. He is collaborative in the sense that he will listen to the owner (in this case me) and address any and all concerns or questions I had with thoughtfulness and care. We hadn't planned on restoring the front of my building, which is limestone, but I had a quick question about it (NOT part of the scope!) for Usman and after I received the answer, my husband and I decided to get a bid to do preventative work to restore the front using Usman and his team again. I will absolutely continue to be a repeat customer. Owning a building requires contractors and Usman and his team are absolute gems. Clean, courteous, professional, and talented. We have spent hundreds of thousands on "top contractors" and some have been good, some awful, Usman was great. I couldn't recommend Hi Tech Contracting & Restoration more.

Our project includes replacing the current patio with pavers, building a new walkway, replacing two…read morestoops with blue stone and replacing the existing asphalt driveway with a concrete driveway. After getting proposals from 5 contractors, we decided to go with LIMC for the project. Tommy and his son came by twice to ensure the measurements are correct and their proposal is one of the most competitive in terms of pricing. I wanted to have a concrete base for the pavers because my previous patio was set on regular gravel base and had settled unevenly after just two years. The whole project took about two weeks from start to finish. Tommy's crew worked efficiently without cutting any corners. You can definitely tell that they are experienced with concrete and masonry. We decided to go with the Cambridge Toffee Onyx ledgestone pavers with Mocha Border. For the driveway, we went with graphite colored concrete with pavers circle and apron. The result was spectacular. I have gotten so many compliments from neighbors on my driveway. The blue stone stoops were excellent as well. He did an amazing job, and his price was among the lowest quotes among the many I got. I chose him because he was the only one in his price ranges who had references - spoke to 3 different customers and they were all happy. I even went to look at his work. Kent is the most solid contractor I've worked with in NYC, and I've done 2 gut renovations (one apartment and one 3 story brownstone) and an asbestos abatement. He's telling you the hard truth about what needs to be done, and he then gets it done on schedule. He is very involved in the entire process, doing important parts by himself and closely supervising his workers and subcontractors (for the iron work). Highly recommend!

Process took about 4 weeks from estimate to completion of work (2x follow up visits for patching/touch ups post 1-day roof completion) . While the roofers that came to do the work were somewhat in hurry and didn't completely protect some existing items, no harm no foul, and quick work with only minor ding-ups that were fixed within the next week.
