The space is really small, but there are literally watches everywhere, and they're good ones. They sell a wide variety of name brand watches like Fossil, Diesel, DKNY, Tommy Hilfigger, Anne Klein, the list goes on. Just what I look for when I need a new watch battery. (I can't speak to purchasing a watch here - although they look to have quite a range, as well as a number of watch bands.) My husband and I have had them replace batteries in several of our watches (of varying brands and value) and are satisfied repeat customers. The last time we were in, I was just asking the jeweller when I should pick up my watch, as she changed my battery and handed it back to me with a smile. I love that a place that fixes timepieces values MY time. I may not be able to turn back the clock, but I will be turning to The Watch Shop time after time(!).

I actually went here to get my Rolex serviced as it was more cost effective than some other choices. Apparently when you own a Rolex you are supposed to have it serviced every year but I could not afford to do this or remember and I can be of the mentality of it's not broke don't fix it! However my watch was rapidly losing time about 5 minutes every day which I was kind of adapting to but decided after about 8 years of wearing it perhaps it was time for the first service. While there I did also mention that as much as I loved the watch I could not read the time (so it losing time did not really matter) due to the little gold hands on the gold background. I asked about changing the colour of the background. They suggested changing the colour of the hands which was a MUCH cheaper option and was included in the price of the service. Cost of the service €380 and I got the watch back all nice and shiny AND I can tell the time again YIPPEE. Okay it may be a bit expensive but wearing a good watch is like wearing silk underwear - you just feel good.

The shop sells a lot of gold: gold chains, earrings and wedding rings. In my opinion, most of their stuff is quite tacky and a little too mobster-like.

Yes, they sell the same cool plastic watches that made them famous in every color of the rainbow. Whether you want a minimal all-white watch or something with a fun and surprising pattern you can find it here. I loved one called Snuggle Bunch which featured a gaggle of adorable pastel animals all smooshed together. Their chronograph and automatic watches are what really surprised me. Keeping the same slim-line design of most of their products, the watches are at the same time light but substantial. But by far my favorite watch in the store was Giant Shimmer, a gold watch with a band covered in hearts and a face with a big glittery dollar sign on it. Bling bling with a sense of humor? Gotta love Swatch!
