New to the doubles game and I tried this place as it was BOGO on Uber. Location is a bit hard to find as it's part of a big plaza with its own lot that has near the entrance a large commercial building, but Kish's is right there after entering the plaza parking lot. Located near the airport. I got the aloo pie, and no-protein doubles. I tried this place a couple months ago and believe both pricing and recipe for doubles changed since then. The in store BOGO offering for doubles is still there (with better pricing than on Uber as is normal), but is now $3.75/2 doubles instead of $3.25/2. On a positive note, they taste a lot better. My first time trying the doubles (slight spice), it didn't have the sweet sauce (chutney, I think) in it, and it lacked a bit in flavour compared to other doubles I've had. This time around, it did have chutney and was far better. It makes the double less dry and meshes well with the filling. The aloo pie was ok but I will pass next time; it had similar filling to the doubles but lacked the chutney, so it was a bit drier. The outer pastry leaned towards being more crispy than doubles, but taste-wise they are in the same ballpark. Inside the restaurant, there's ample room for pairs or small groups in a narrow dining room. They seem to have a lot of variety and some specials which include jerk chicken. I've been here twice and it's usually not too busy. Will definitely be back when in the area

Massive menu that it was a bit hard to go through and decide what I even wanted!…read more Came on a weeknight evening and surprisingly only had 3 other tables in the restaurant. There was only one server at the time when I went in. Food was good and portions were huge, great for sharing. I got: Chicken biryani (serves 2) 4/5 - This was in massive portions with a mountain of rice and full chicken legs hidden throughout. It was topped with an egg sliced in half, some sauced chicken breast pieces and raw onion. I thought that there wasn't enough raw onion for the ratio of the rice. Also came with a yogurt sauce to help with the spice. Overall, very flavourful, delicious and great for sharing. Butter chicken with garlic naan 5/5 - Thought this was delicious, creamy, tomatoey, and had the perfect amount of spice. Garlic naan was already crispy and paired well with the butter chicken. I devoured this one and wanted more. Overall, a solid place for dinner or lunch. Portions are huge, especially if it's the biryani. Be prepared to pack your food to go since portions are large.

I took my seat and ordered some food. Here's what we had: - Tandoori - 7/10: The taste was fine, but I deducted 3 points because it seemed like the tandoori was fried. - Mutton Roast - 10/10: The mutton was soft and incredibly flavorful. - Hyderabadi Chicken - 10/10: Spicy and flavorful, it was delicious. The spice level is intense, but enjoyable. - Amravati Chicken - 10/10: My first time trying this dish, and it was great. It was slightly sweeter than the Hyderabadi Chicken. - Malai Kofta - 10/10: Paired with naan, this was my favorite. Highly recommended for vegetarians. To end our delicious dinner, we had: - Mango Blast - 10/10 - Rasmalai - 10/10 I've already pinned this place to come back soon. Shoutout to Savni, our server, who was great!

I absolutely love this place. Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

The portion cann be share, however; I recommend toffee pudding with ice cream. Due to the weekend , the service was slow. I would like to thank Sheily who was so friendly and acted professionally when we did not like the cardamom chai as it has milk and did meet our expectations . She changed the chai with Earl Gray which was really tasty. The ambiance was nice and comfort. The chairs were comfortable and the employees were friendly.
