Kiss Me Vegas is my #1 place to get lip filler! This is not my first rodeo when it comes to lip filler and unfortunately I was botched BEFORE I came to Kiss Me Vegas. Merika, the owner and technician, and I spoke about the experience I had and my expectations for our session, via text, as well as set up my appointment. Merika is a very kind, sweet woman with amazing skills. She works from a home office that is clean and tidy. Upon entering and taking off my shoes, she offered water and made me feel very comfortable. The ambience was very welcoming and cozy. Now let's get to the juicy part! We spoke about my lip goals, she took a look at my lips to see where I needed corrections, as well as felt around to make sure there wasn't any hard build up from the lip filler I received prior. Next came the lidocaine to numb up my lips. Once my lips were nice and numb, Merika gave me a squeeze toy for my anxiety or any pain I may experience and we went in with the needle-less lip filler. I felt absolutely no pain and she constantly checked my pain scale to make sure I was feeling okay. At one point I even closed my eyes for a nap! Once the infusion was done, Merika did a lip massage and put arnica ointment on to help with the swelling. I've wanted lip fillers since forever ago but the thought of the traditional fillers kinda scared tf outta me...fast forward 10-15 years & I find myself in Vegas and discover Merika. Merika is very knowledgeable, explained everything every single step of the way, super communicative, and had excellent follow up from inquiry, pre procedure prep as well as follow up post procedure. I only opted for 1mL total so I only had 2 sessions: 1st session: 8/24 -she works outta her home studio that was clean, sterile, free of distraction, & had cute decor for those post procedure photo ops. -she does some discusses what you want, does some lip mapping, provides numbing cream, gets to it. -most scary thing is the SOUND of the pen upon injection; pain level during is minimal but you feel her grab your lip with her gloved fingers for better positioning & you feel a slight pressure with the pen (think like lips numb but the pressure you'd feel if you'd bite yourself). -post procedure you're provided with a gift bag of post op goodies and instructions for appropriate aftercare; some bruising and swelling is evident for a few hours immediately after but as the day progresses it subsides some. After a few days most of the bruising is gone. -She checks in with you via text within 2-3 days, asks for a pic of your pucker, and directs you further based on that. 2nd session: 9/7 -same as 1st session; sound of pen still a bit shocking; all the same, except your mind knows what to expect so you're a bit calmer & that helps your healing process. -I noticed bruising & swelling were far less than 1st session I wanted to try a more natural enhancement that would be just a subtle but slightly noticeable change for me. I am the first person to be anti beauty services. Especially things that alter your looks. I don't judge others, but I never thought they would be for me. Until.. I went on her website and it has EVERYTHING. Merika, the owner and tech, has more details about her services and what everything is and means than any site I've ever seen. I was intrigued by the lack of needle. Because I was not about to get actual lip injections. But I did want a rejuvenation. I contacted her. She was super responsive. And I decided to try it. I got 1ml to start with. I arrived at her place (which was weird to me at first but turned out to be the bestttt). Her place is so clean, and smells amazing. The studio set up is pristine, but you feel really at home. And it's how she can keep her costs low. No overhead costs! She can put on whatever music you want. she even has a mascot! (Her dog is adorable). She made me feel immediately as ease when I got there. She has such a calming personality. She explained everything to me. The whole process does take awhile. 1-2 hours depending. But she makes sure the numbing cream is set before starting. The pain level isn't that bad. It's either nothing, or like a rubber band in your lip. It's a repetitive process. But she makes you feel as comfortable as possible. When it's over she gives you a fun goodie bag and stuff to help take care of your lips to heal. She follows up and makes sure you're happy.
