I can't believe I have never reviewed this salon. I've been coming here for 10 years . When I moved here my sister was going there so recommended them and she still goes. They offer just about every treatment that's available out there and they have the new cool peel. Tonight they had a VIP event and it's super fast and if it's even half of what the picture shows, for results. I'll be happy you're supposed to get three treatments so I'll probably be back for that along with my other facials that I do. The place is super cute. No. Just no. I saw Nicole a few wks ago and while the service felt nice it was NOT an actual hydra facial. If anything it was lazy. She busted out a face light mask 2 different times (not typically part of a hydra facial & I didn't ask for it) and didn't even use a steam wand. And the service lasted mayyyybe 40 mins..? Made sure to charge the price of a hydrafacial though. Meh. read more

Ever since I moved to NV, I have been looking for a place to get my facials done. I had been going to a person in CA, but it was too much of a drive to keep going back and forth. So the last time I had a facial done was in October or November 2019, and then COVID happened so I hadn't been able to go see someone for my facial. My face has started to break out a lot more lately despite my skincare routine, so I decided that it was definitely time to find someone. The many 5 star Yelp reviews led me to Naked Skinn Studio, and through those reviews, I found the majority of clients talking about how wonderful Cathy is, so I made my appointment for an acne treatment facial with her. When I came in, I sat to wait for my time, and Cathy comes out with a client she had just finished with, and the client started telling me how amazing Cathy is. I saw for myself how true that statement was. Prior to me going into the room, I watched Cathy clean and sanitize everything. When I went in, she wore her mask and gloves the whole time. First she asked me what my skincare routine was, and after I explained to her, she gently explained what happens to my skin based on my skincare routine. I had no idea how harsh I was being to my face! As she was doing my facial, she explained what she was doing, and why she was doing it. And then she told me how my skin was reacting to what she was doing. During this appointment, she did extractions on my face and told me what she saw (unless you know what you're doing, do NOT pop your pimples!). I really loved that she took the time to explain things to me, because I understand more when I know why things happen. We came up with a slightly new skincare routine for me, and I purchased a different toner from her (only $11) to help sooth my skin while also feeling refreshed (I had been using astringent!). I made a follow-up appointment with her for next month so we can reassess my skin and see where to go from there. I absolutely loved my experience with Cathy and recommend her 100%! I walked in on a Saturday morning and Cathy is the one who greeted me, she was very friendly. I had scheduled an appointment with Mimi online for a European facial, one thing I like about NSS is that appointments are very easy to schedule online. This was my first facial and booked my appointment because of the great reviews and fantastic prices. I was not let down. Mimi really makes you feel at ease and is very friendly, the environment is really relaxing, they play soft music in the background and the room they take you in is clean and comfortable. Before Mimi would apply anything to my face, she'd let me know what the product consisted of. The European facial included a massage which felt amazing! I was really pleased with Mimi's work. She did some light extractions and took her time, I can already see a difference in my skin. I've been going to Naked Skinn for facials, microdermabrasion, peels and micro-needling for 4 years now. I wish I had before and after pics! Before finding Cathy and Mimi, I would have major breakouts at least once a month. My skin was so unpredictable and easily irritated. Thanks to years of bad acne, I have a lot of scarring too. I have had my eyebrows waxed a couple of times and I have been very happy so when I decided to have a facial I was confident that I would have a good experience. It was better than good. Jen did an amazing facial. It was relaxing and I felt so good afterwards. After an enzyme treatment and some steam she got to a masque application, while the masque did its magic she did an arm and hand massage as well as neck, shoulder and scalp. Had my facial with Cathy in the past but just had a Brazilian wax with her for the first time. I usually go to the Birthday Suit in Town Square but it has moved for quite some time now so I had to look for another place that does it quick and efficient. I found other estheticians but they are not as quick. After reading some reviews and Yelp and came across Cathy again, I decided to book one the next day. It was using the soft wax and though it supposed to be half an hour, she was done in 15 mins. It was super fast. However, when I came home, I noticed that some areas were not as clean as I would expect it to be. Hence for now, it is an A-OK. I am very gratful to have found this location. I took my 15 yr old grandson for his first extraction facial. Jennifer was fantastic with him. She evaluated his skin while explaining to him how he can do better, also letting him know what could be happening in the next few days. It took longer than the alloted time yet, she kept going and apologized to us. The grandson is so excited about the results he got. It was not easy for him to keep from feeling how much smoother his face was after the process. He did let me know he would feel it in the shower. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I booked through the yelp app after not having a facial done in years. I originally booked an European facial with Jennifer. Day of my facial I had a thousand questions and Jen was so patient/helpful and answered all my questions she then suggested we do a microdermabrasion, pumpkin peel, and cherry enzyme mask (which I ended up doing instead) Prior to and throughout the facial she explained the process and what she was putting on my face. After the facial, you could see a mild change. I'm so happy I took her suggestion. (I came in with really dry / flaking skin. My makeup didnt go on smooth some times.)My skin felt completely refreshed, smooth and glowing. The prices were very reasonable for the amazing service. Holy moly-Cathy's Good! I just finished my facial and wax for my hoo-ha. Anyways, since moving to Henderson my skin has been ALL over the place like super dry but still blackheads. All sorts of funk. Well, after leaving Cathy I now have my youth back, and a clear face! Here's what I liked 1. Clean! Her room and tools were well maintained. 2. Her price. $65 for a 60 min euro facial. Most want 65 for a 50 min facial! I actually got the hydrating facial but listed that price because most people can compare euro facials from salon to salon since they essentially do they same thing. Hydrating facial came with what felt like 5 masks, amazing smelling towels, massage, tons of extractions and lotions! 3. Waxing-she's fast and efficient. I found Naked Skinn Studio through Yelp. It had some of the best reviews, and was very VERY reasonably priced. The booking process is user friendly, and easy. It's really great that you can go online, and see the specific estheticians schedule and availability. The salon is beautifully decorated. Patrons walk into a soft lavender waiting room, with really cool and funky chairs. Right when you enter you're welcomed with soft tranquil music to put you in a relaxed mood. My esthetician was Cathy, and she was warm and friendly from the get go. I've had one simple cleansing facial before, but this was going to be my very first REAL facial. I booked a European Facial, but after hearing my concerns and looking at my skin she suggested and performed the Deep Pore Cleansing Treatment which was slightly less priced. I really appreciated that she wanted to do what was best for my skin, and not necessarily what would be more expensive. For a first timer, Cathy was great at explaining the process at the very beginning and at each step. Also telling me what each product and action would do for my skin. I was so happy at the end of it all, I really feel like I saw results immediately. I'm so excited to see Cathy again, and see what else she can do for my skin. Once, for about 48 hours, my face was free of gunk. Cathy provided an exceptional facial with hundred--seriously hundreds--of extractions and a brow wax. I have terrible, awful, no good, very bad skin. After trying just about every topical treatment and pill, my dermatologist threw up his hands and told me to go get an extraction. I went to Cathy a month ago, and I haven't had a major breakout since. So the spa she works in is a little out of date and I probably wouldn't come here for a cut and color, but I like Cathy because she didn't try to sell me a bunch of over priced chemical laden products; she did the extraction, set some realistic expectations, and sent me on my way. I've been to quite a few people for my brazillian waxing needs and I am so glad I found Cathy. I've been using her for a couple/few years now. I started off with a lady who I just didn't like - and she missed too much hair - in 2009. I managed to go through 3 others (one was amazing, but moved to CA) and then finally found Cathy. She takes her time, but is professional and efficient. She remembers her returning customers and is genuine. Many women expect to be uncomfortable with someone else seeing/touching them, and maybe it's just my lack of modesty, but I've never been uncomfortable with Cathy. She's warm and friendly, knows what she's doing, and chats with you through your appointment. Making appointments are easy by either calling or using the Style Seat app. She's good with communicating if anything needs to change with her schedule. She's also one of the most reasonable priced locations you'll find in Las Vegas. We moved away for about a year and just recently came back. She remembered me by my phone number. Customer Service - I was calling around New Year weekend to sort out a time and date, and Cathy personally responded to me over this holiday weekend. How great is that for customer service! 2. I've been going to Cathy for over a couple years now, and she is amazing! I moved 90 miles away several months ago, and when I make the trek back to Vegas, her services are at the top of my priority list. As the other reviews have mentioned, she is very thorough and can clear up signs of acne and aging in... well... moments. When I leave her office, my skin isn't overly irritated or red. As much as I wanted to like this place I will say I did not have the positive experience that the reviews mentioned. I was a first time client and wasn't really introduced at all. Cathy did apologize in the end for not realizing I was a new client but there were many things that for me were not good. 1) there was no explanation to what was being done to my face. This worried me since I have very sensitive skin and since she didn't know me or ask any questions about my skin I feared a bad reaction. 2) During the facial someone was in the waiting area and due to no receptionist she went to check on who was out there. TOTALLY fine but there was no change of gloves upon entering and working on my face again :/. 3) after massaging my arms with body like she began working on my face again without washing or changing gloves. Like I mentioned before I have sensitive skin so I again feared the oil doing harm to my skin. Just like I predicted I had a major major major reaction and what seemed like clogged pores after this facial which as never happened to me in the past. I'm extremely disappointed in this business. I WALKED-IN because yelp listed this as a place that accepts walk-ins. I'm new to Vegas and was looking for a place to get my eyebrows done. (I'm not going to book online for a place I've never visited.) Just something simple, I walk in it took a good 5 mins for anybody to come out of the back and greet me. Then when I let her know what yelp says, she tells me "oh there is a nail shop down the street they take walk-ins" refusing to service me. All she gave was excuses not service.
