I have been a client of Skinfuzion for 16+ years and Yesssssss this review is long in coming! First, I need to explain my skin damage (as a basis to weigh against Skinfuzion improvements). I was born in 1965 and so those of you in my generation know that we basked in the sun like raisins, never wore sunscreen, and SMOKED! I have soooo much sun damage, to include burning my face to almost 3rd degree level with blisters and hard-skin peeling! And I did this 3 times! I never wore sunscreen much less even moisturizer. When I entered my 40s, freckles and dark spots began to appear on my face and continued to worsen! NO ONE warned us anything back then about the sun!!! Around 2010, a co-worker referred me to Skinfuzion and I met the glorious Kim Hutchinson...Ahhhh....my Skin Whisperer!!! This lady/owner is lovely inside and out; her glowing beautiful skin is a testament to how good she is! Kim possesses an endless knowledge of skincare. She's impressive! And I know she stays updated with the latest skin technologies, because I ask her MANY questions during the treatments! Moreover, her salon is always stocked with the latest skincare products. Skinfuzion Treatments Reviews: IPL/Photofacial - 3 or 4 times per year.......2010 - 2015 * Holy smokes this laser works well! It breaks up, literally, the patches of brown spots around my t-zone and cheek areas. A couple of days after treatment, I would see brown "flakes" sloughing off of my face where the brown spots/patches were. It was a 5-year journey to finally get A Lot of the damage diminished if not removed altogether thanks to Kim. Well worth the journey and worth every penny! (I also stopped exposing my face to the sun, wore the requisite sunscreen, and STOPPED SMOKING!) IPL/Photofacial - 1 or 2 times per year.......2016 - Present * Maintenance to address sun damage flare-ups Microneedling - 2 or 3 times per year.......2013 - 2020 * This is a miracle worker! It helps with skin elasticity and a host of other benefits, but what I believe to be the most beneficial and noticeable outcomes is this: My skin takes on a better texture, it just feels softer, smoother, and tight, like I had a chemical peel. Furthermore, as weeks passed my skin continued to improve and I noticed glowing. Worth the journey! Worth every penny! Microneedling - 1 or 2 times per year.......2020 - 2026 * Maintenance! As with anything, get to your goal and always maintain, otherwise, you will have failed everything. Tixel - 2 or 3 times per year.......2026 - Present * This is a GAME CHANGER! It is Microneedling on acid lol! It does everything Microneedling does, but with more intensity resulting in more noticeable improvements. The game changer for me was that Tixel was able to flatten sebaceous glands on my face!!! Only my dermatologist can do this and she has to use a laser that literally burns them on my face, leaving my red almost raw skin to heal from the burning. Tixel does not do that at all!!! It just flattens them and I was thoroughly IMPRESSED AND SOLD! * I asked my dermatologist about Tixel and she relayed, in part, "...that [Tixel] laser beats microneedling and just about any peels you do..." My dermatologist asked me how much I was paying per treatment and when I told her $900, she exclaimed it was an excellent price! It's always a bit nerve wracking your first time receiving a facial because of just how important it is to look good and be healthy. LATEST TREATMENT: ENDYMED INTENSIF So, I like to try every treatment (that will fix my scars and lines) at least once. I have now had one of two Intesif procedures with Kendal. This is supposed to "drastically improve skin texture." Well, IT DOES!!! The most dramatic example of this is my neck!! I wasn't sure which kind of skin treatment would be best suited for me so I made an appointment for the free consultation. The facility is super modern, comfortable and very clean. I arrived ten minutes early to fill out paperwork and was seen right on time. Michelle was so patient and informative while going over my options and what I could expect during and post treatment. She was very kind, knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all which was reassuring. We ended up going with a mix of the Cutera Titan and Clear and Brilliant treatments. The treatments were painless and actually so so relaxing. Titan is one of those treatments that builds collagen over time (full results are not immediate) but I still saw some subtle skin firming the day of. Clear and Brilliant is AMAZING for reducing pore size and my skin looked much better right away. You will see better results with multiple treatments of both but I was super impressed with just the first one. I will definitely be back. Overall very fair pricing and excellent service. I am sharing my experience with the intent to WARN anyone of the permanent damage Kim, the owner of Skin Fuzion, did to my stomach. First of all, I have been going to Kim for over 10 years. I have trusted her with my skin care and any treatments she has done. At the beginning of April she did the Morpheus 8 on my stomach. I was nervous, but reassured me it was safe. Fast forward 4 months and two doctor's appointments later, and my stomach is permanently damaged. My dermatologist told me it was a burn that won't heal. Kim, not being trained properly, went down 8 layers in my dermis, which's apparently should never happen. When i saw a plastic surgeon to see if i could reverse my damage, he also informed me it was a permanent scar and left me with an "I'm sorry". Doing research after research through medical doctors, not licensed aestheticians, i learned that no one except a physician should be performing this procedure with this machine. The fact that it has an ability to burn the skin and do permanent damage is frightening and now I am a result of this. Please, please, only go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to do Morpheus 8. On a side note, she didn't refund the $885 that caused this damage. I am sad that i did this and trusted Kim and Skin Fuzion, knowing she didn't know what she what she was doing and now my stomach looks 5 times worse and is enduringly flawed. read more

They burned my face badly and owner has no remorse, combative, unprofessional. I just don't want my experience to happen to others. It left permanent damages on my skin. (see pics.). I went in for a treatment couple weeks before my birthday. I was excited to make my skin look great. Then this is what happened to me, my face was badly burned (look at picture), scab, open wounds. Looked like I had 3rd degree burn from a fire, then very dark hyperpigmentation that is not back to normal till now :-( I could not work or be in front people for a month and have to use heavy concealer due to the damage. I was patient, cooperative and tried to work with Skinfuzion to try to fix the effects of burns. Then Covid-19 hit and lockdown and I had to stop going everything was put on halt. I really wanted to move on from this and try to cut my losses and just ask for the refund on the package I originally paid for, I was burned the first time of my laser treatment. I reached out to the owner Kim Hutchinson in June 2021 when everything began to open and she ignored my message. I noticed she tends to be combative with people. I really don't want to leave bad reviews (look at my other yelp reviews) but the way she blamed me, disrespected me badly was unacceptable. I was taken back by her saying she provided several services. It appears she wants to charge me for fixing my skin she ruined. I answered, those were NOT for my "beauty treatments" those services was to fix, the FACE you BURNED and highly discolored, textured skin hyperpigmentation. I should have listened to my friend and just filed a complaint, instead I decided working with them. She is calling a refund of my own funds, extortion. She is also telling me that she will file a restraining order when I haven't even gone to her place of business nor talk to her in 2021. All communication is via some text, mainly email. That is how much Kim will intimidate a customer if something goes wrong. I want to make sure everyone is aware of this and know what they are dealing with. I hope this never happens to others. I completely regret going there. Her staff is great but Kim is so combative, fighting with her customers for the damage they've done. NO Kim, it's not an allergic reaction, you clearly BURNED my face (see pics) and NO, My skin is not back to normal, it created permanent hyperpigmentation. Treating your clients badly due to your negligence is unacceptable. And NO I will not be bullied. I have all the facts. read more

I have had two Morpheus8 treatments. My first treatment was with a different esthetician, but when I learned Kim provides this service, I immediately rebooked with Kim. And I'm glad I did! (My first treatment was fine) BUT Kim ended this treatment with a lovely cooling mask and sent me home with serums, creams, and mineral based SPF screen. I just tried the Hydrabody. It's incredible and very different from the POD. The POD is a 15 minute treatment and has a higher temperature . Hydrabody is a 30 minute weight- loss program. There are 14 red light cluster to help you to lose weight faster. If, I had to choose...it would be the Hydrabody. You sweat more and lose weight faster. I highly recommend the Hydrabody, it's a infused steam which is ran off of distilled water. Shantel is wonderful, professional, and highly skilled tech.
