I love this place. Love. This. Place. I always visit when I'm in Wimberley. They've got everything as common as cast iron skillets to exciting scales shaped like an IUD that can fold up neatly in your kitchen drawer. I wanted to buy six placemats but they only had one. The lady at the counter took my name and let me know when they got more in, she would hold them for me and call me to let me know. And she did. Twice. Because I couldn't get there in the next few weeks. They held my order for a month. I get compliments on those round placemats all the time. Wonderful shop in the heart of Wimberely. It was initially a little difficult to find as it's in the back behind a row of other shops, but well worth the minor hunt. I've been in a lot of kitchen stores, but this may top them. Very quaint with a ton of product for its size. I was able to get cheesecloth, mini strainer, wooden spoons, hilarious flour sack towels, novelty paper napkins, popcorn kernels and a dark chocolate sauce. I also couldn't believe the great prices of many of the items I found. The woman at the counter was so sweet and helpful. She was able to answer my questions and even showed me a catalogue to help me out. I will be making this a regular stop whenever I'm in the area. read more
