They were VERY busy, and I was quite pleased with the service at the optician. I priced eyewear there, and with insurance, they wanted nearly $500. So, I decided to go elsewhere. Next stop Costco, where I've heard you can get really good prices on glasses. Not impressed with their selection of frames! So, next stop, Eyeglass World. I've seen advertisements for them on TV. They carried Ray Ban, which is originally what I thought I would wind up getting. I decided against them and got a pair of Armani Exchange glasses (which were actually even more expensive), but with the more expensive frame, and a BETTER quality lens than I was quoted at Lenscrafters - with transitions, and all the other bells an whistles, the glasses were $120 less (using my insurance as well). The location was very quiet, but it was a pleasure not having to fight tons of people. The service was personal, and I'll definitely be back!

A special thank you to Antoinetta for her assistance and patience in helping me with my insurance plan and answering my questions. She is professional and knowledgeable and would highly recommend asking for her when you visit the store! She is an asset to the store!

He even helped me out filling the form that I needed to fill because I had a stroke last year and sometimes when I'm reading something, it's not what I'm reading so he helped me with that. She was very kind. I can't say enough about that place when I first went there, I really liked it and when I had to get another check up, I wanna write back there because they are really wonderful and they really care. They helped me out with what I needed. I got a pair of beautiful glasses. I can't say it enough about this place. I will recommend this to anybody to ask me about an eye place. They are a fantastic group and I will continue going there. Thank you.

From the moment I walked in, the place felt…read moreunclean -- dusty surfaces, smudged counters, and an overall stale smell that immediately made me uncomfortable. This is not what you expect from a business dealing with eye care and medical equipment. The staff was unprofessional and dismissive. Questions about pricing and services were met with attitude instead of clear explanations. I felt rushed, talked over, and treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Transparency was completely lacking -- prices were unclear until the very end, and even then they were explained poorly. Management was especially disappointing. Instead of addressing concerns calmly, they became defensive and confrontational. Any attempt to ask for clarification turned into an uncomfortable interaction rather than a helpful conversation. Customer service here is clearly not a priority. Between the cleanliness issues, the confusing pricing, and the rude behavior, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at an optical store. There are plenty of other places that are cleaner, more professional, and actually respect their customers. I won't be returning.

First of all the lady knows her profession inside and out, but she treats you with kindness and respect. Everything I want in a friend. We have gone to Dr Poulos off an on as my husband's cataracts got worse and he recently had surgery to replace his eye lens. Dr Poulos consulted with us. She took the time to present the facts, help us decide and explain what would happen. Her staff is also efficient and caring. They work together like a team and the educate and prepare you for your procedure. They present you with a little kit and a folder with the exact instructions easily mapped out. Overall the kindness and caring I see in Dr Poulos is also reflected in her staff. They use the latest equipment to measure and gather the information for the procedure. They give you instructions written and verbal and call you before the appointment to make sure you understand exactly what to do. Our contact for surgery scheduling made it convenient and she was very nice as she worked to get both eyes completed before the holidays. The drops that you must buy for cataract surgery can be costly. Dr Poulos works with a pharmacy that delivers but more importantly they offer a really good discount. A co-worker went to a different doctor and paid $100 for each of 3 small bottles and my average for similar 3 bottles was $65 each. A significant savings and one I would not have known about except Dr Poulous negotiates to provide their patients an easy way to get the medication at a significant savings. The staff is really good about keeping the appointments on schedule with little to no waiting so they get you in and out. We saw another doctor before selecting Dr Poulos. They had us waiting for so long (in the waiting room and in the exam room) and when we did see the doctor we got a hard sell to upgrade out of pocket. I am so glad I checked with my friend on who she had used for her cataract procedure and was happy to get the referral to Dr. Margaret Poulos.

The leading head receptionist was very nice, friendly, and personable. She walked me through the check-in process and did the photos for my eyes. After that, I saw the primary eye doctor, Sandoval. Dr. Sandoval was alright, but she was very go-go-go when it came to the eye exam in general. She dilated my eyes, had me sit in the office and then came back to get me after thirty minutes. It felt rushed, but it was as thorough as it could be. I was told I did not need much adjustment in my prescription. However, I was told that I needed to monitor my eyes for Glaucoma in the future. After my eye exam, the salespeople on the main floor were trying to push me to buy new glasses. However, since I didn't need much readjustment, I didn't see the need to purchase new glasses. You could tell the salespeople were disappointed when I kept saying, "No." I was not enthusiastic about this place. It felt like they wanted to get you in and out as quickly as possible and make a sale. At least I got my eyes checked.

Given my long-standing experience with him, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my vision needs. A few years ago, I made the mistake of purchasing my progressive glasses and sunglasses from another provider. Unfortunately, they didn't perform as expected. While I could see distance clearly, I struggled to read my phone screen and use my computer monitor. After dealing with the frustration for a couple of years, I decided to return to LensCrafters, even though they're out of network for my insurance. The difference in quality was night and day. In December 2024, it was time for an update, and I couldn't be happier with the results at LensCrafters. Both my progressive glasses and sunglasses are performing beautifully. I've learned the hard way that cutting corners and saving a few dollars isn't worth the hassle of poor-quality eyewear. I'm so grateful for Dr. Manikowski and this LensCrafters location--my vision has never been better.
