Omg I LOVE this place! I could've walked around for hours just checking out all the gadgets and cookware! They have such a HUGE inventory or everything!!! Cookware, Utensils, Pots and Pans, Locally made Spices, Rubs, Fresh Pasta... I could go on and on! Will definitely be back!!!!

Great high end cooking gear and products, but a bit pricey! Lots of unique items and kitchen gadgets as well.

Everything you could possibly want, Kitch has it! It's really nice to have industrial kitchen equipment in your home kitchen.

We love this destination in Essex for all kinds of kitchen accoutrements, and we love it even more now. Nancy Kirkiles has a knack for mixing vintage finds with kitchen necessities, and the new, larger space has allowed her to flex her merchandising muscles. You'll find an extensive selection of her lovely letterpressed cards on thick stock (and you'll want to stock up), plus a tempting mix of vintage glassware, interesting cookbooks, antique cleavers, teeny silver spoons, crystal salt cellars, linen aprons, essentials for baking; an entire batterie de cuisine. If you're on a spring cleaning rampage, head here for natural bristle brushes and potions with names like "Boys Bathroom" and Superlative Hand Soap. Over the years, Nancy has developed a talented team of collaborators. If you've been to one of her cooking classes or pop-up dinners, you'll know what I'm talking about. Chef Paul Barron will continue to offer classes and dinners through Weekend Kitchen (coming up: Potato Gnocchi and Easy Thai), plus home chef services and (coming soon) grab-and-go meals. You'll find Plenty of Cake, literally. Lesley Moore's imaginative treats will be available and by custom order (her gluten free versions may just be the best I've had), and a refrigerator case is on the way, to be stocked with Arethusa Farm's ridiculous fresh butter, milk, and cheese. I've been known to race over pre-party for a last minute ladle or gravy boat; now I'll just have so many more reasons to visit.

Every time I walk through the door, I'm greeted by the smell of fresh, high‑quality meats and the kind of friendly, knowledgeable service you just don't get anywhere else. Their butchers are true professionals -- you can ask for custom cuts, cooking tips, or recommendations, and they always take the time to help without rushing you along. The selection is outstanding. Whether you're looking for everyday staples, specialty cuts, or something unique for a holiday or big family gathering, they have it -- and it's always fresh. Their marinated options are consistently flavorful, their sausages are some of the best around, and their steaks are the kind you proudly serve to guests. You can tell everything is handled with care and pride. What really sets Westerly Packing apart is the experience. The staff treats you like a regular even if it's your first visit. The store is clean, well‑organized, and clearly run by people who love what they do. Prices are fair for the quality you're getting, and you always leave feeling like you got real value. If you care about great food and supporting a business that genuinely cares about its customers, Westerly Packing is a must. Five stars all the way. Ask them to try Westerlys gold!!
