We went inside and the merchandise was predominantly, Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, and similar brands. The staff was informative and friendly, and even offered us mimosas! There's a collection of men's and women's clothes, shoes, and accessories, fairly priced (similar to MSRP). I bought a pair of Sperry Boats, which I wore out of the store after they gracefully threw away my old, beat up ones. My fiancé purchased a Vineyard Vines Shep Shirt and a rain shawl (which she's very happy about). This shop will do very well and I'm happy to have given them business. If you go to Newport, you would get one that says Newport on the front. These are super trendy, particularly during the spring and summer. Just Mystic is a store in downtown Mystic where you can find a variety of these hoodies, t-shirts and hats for the whole family. This cotton is heavy duty, but still light and breezy, it is made to be worn, so it only gets comfier with each wear. Just Mystic merchandise isn't cheap, one of their basic sweatshirts without the hood will run you $65 - $75. These make an excellent gift for someone who you've visited Mystic with but isn't from the area.

Locally I've been to the FatFace stores in New Haven, Newport and in Mystic. While in the Mystic store recently, they treated shoppers to iced tea and cookies. I like the selection of items they offer. There's a nice variety of tops, jeans, skirts, dresses, leather wallets and purses, and more. However, the prices are very high, even for the most basic items. The items are good quality, but very similar items can be found at plenty of other retailers at a much more appropriate cost. I can't see myself purchasing anything here. While the store is in a vary attractive area, and it's always beautifully set up, staff is also very friendly and attentive, the items aren't anything unique, and similar items can be found in many other places. I simply can't recommend shopping here.

It's in a plaza right next to Mystic Aquarium- the parking lot is a nice size but can get packed in the front so go around back and there's TONS of parking. There's shopping for everyone here. From random items, to themed items, treats, snacks, food, Knick knacks, jewelry, sunglasses, home items and so much more. It gives me hippie vibes and I love that. All the employees in the shops are just so sweet- never ran into a bad one. I enjoy walking around here every single store front has something in it, it's not a dead area with random shops closed. It's pretty much always busy, but doesn't get so crowded you have anxiety. I have brought my mom here a few times and she also enjoys it. We spend half a day here and grab something to eat as well. You might want to plan to spend at least 3/4 hours here. Take it all in. The prices can be on the more pricier side for stuff- but that's location. Have fun!

I hear what some folks have said about staff having conversations and not paying attention to…read morecustomers. I've experienced that in the past. But this seems to be changing. I had a GREAT experience today. Staff asked if they could help, and they located a pair of earrings I was looking for that I didn't see displayed. I told them they were for an upcoming photo shoot and, when I accidentally left them on the store counter, one of the staff jumped in her car to find me. She didn't, but she did offer to meet me half way so I didn't have to drive an hour to get them! Or she offered to mail them to me at their expense. Who does that anymore?! They have beautiful things that are reasonably priced. I always make a point to stop by when I'm in the area!
