Finally a neighborhood spot with great service and menu options. Collard greens, Mac and cheese nice wine list

This spot is unassuming but dang was it so good! Most of what we ordered was from specials menu but everything was amazing. To start with got blackened scallops, hush puppies and a cup of corn and crab chowder. The chowder was dynamite, probably the best I've ever had. The scallops were cooked perfectly with the right amount of spice. The hush puppies were fluffy and crunchy. Meals wise I got the crawfish boil and my husband got the bison burger with coleslaw. My husband loved his burger and said the onion jam was really nice. The crawfish boil is no joke and has a little bit of a kick but it was so good! I don't know what the sauce is it came with but I really enjoyed it. And because we didn't already eat enough we finished by getting the pina colada cheesecake that was delectable. They run a really efficient operation for how small they are and it's really impressive. We will definitely make a trip back here.

Had lunch at Kitchen 251 on Amelia Island, and it was fantastic! Our server, Kayla, was absolutely exceptional--engaged, friendly, enthusiastic, and incredibly sweet. She made the experience even better! I've been on a personal quest to find the best chicken tenders on the island (my ultimate comfort food), and Kayla completely sold me on theirs--and trust me, I don't like to be sold, but I love to buy! Ha! The tenders were perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I was on the fence about the fries, but they arrived hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. No regrets! Highly recommend Kitchen 251, and I'll definitely be back--next time, I won't forget to snap a photo!

The best meal of our trip to St Augustine. And I mean the best! We came during the lunch hour and the service and food were amazing! I had the scallop special and soup and my husband had a fish special. Prices are normal for seafood in the area, but the view cannot be best! It's the best! We will return!

    Cool location!

Kitchen 251 is located near the water with great views. It is cozy on the inside; there is also seating outside, but it was too windy during our visit to sit outdoors! Service was great! The food, Yum! We enjoyed our meal and thought everything was DELICIOUS! Not pictured are the corn & crab soup and gumbo which were quickly devoured. The seafood seemed fresh and were cooked very well. I wish we stayed longer; I would have visited a second time!

A favorite little restaurant to eat outside near the water on Amelia Island near the marina. Good seafood and southern cooking with a touch of Cajun/Creole. Tonight I got the catfish with crayfish etouffe which was delicious and filling. My wife got a cup of corn and crab soup to start and a bison burger which she enjoyed. Staff are pleasant and attentive. Indoor seating area is small with some bar seating as well. Just over the bridge as you come on the island.

Great views of the harbor and tasty, flavorful food with excellent service. Stopped for lunch on a Friday and they were busy, but there were a few open seats. We got in our orders and the food came out quickly. I got the Bison Burger- one of the daily specials. It was very good, with seeded jalapeños on the side and a tasty bacon jam. The potato salad was a mustard-style and good. My wife got the soup of the day-White Bean Chili. It had a good, lasting kick, and was very good as well. We saw a number of people getting the Salmon Salad, a large mix of greens and veggies, with a huge piece of fish and a red velvet looking muffin. It apparently comes in full and half-size portions. Drink prices were reasonable and the food was on the higher side of average. Great overall, and recommended!

It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.

Anyway, my dish was good. The shrimp were well prepared, tender and not rubbery with crispy breading that wasn't too greasy. The cilantro ranch dipping sauce was a good compliment. My wife liked her clam strips even though some pieces were a bit chewy. The batter was nice and crispy and didn't seem greasy but she thought it had too many little pieces. Oh yeah, those hush puppies were quite good! Good ambience and decent value for fresh seafood. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to just under $32 with tip.

Our server was kind, but not overly friendly (I don't want a performance, you know?). And our food came out maybe 10 minutes after we ordered. We were early enough to order the Sunrise Special and the egg portions seemed surprisingly large! The grits were lovely. The bacon was not the best, it's thin cut (reminiscent of microwave bacon) and I prefer it to be thick. I ordered the eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it. The hollandaise could have had a touch more seasoning, but the texture was great. I actually preferred the Canadian bacon that came on it than the regular bacon that came with the Sunrise Special. It was perfectly salty and crisp. Oh! And it came with crab meat on it which was a special twist I didn't expect but really appreciated. The potatoes are cut into large chunks, but they are well seasoned and cooked nicely. I can't stand when a potato is undercooked, but this place didn't have that problem. And the cherry on top was the water. Florida locals may not be bothered by the ocean-y taste that comes with their drinking water, but for our family it is something that's hard to get past. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this water tasted as if it was filtered and the ice is that soft kind that's pleasant to chew. This might seem like a silly thing to add, but it really stood out to me and I'm grateful for it.
