    Eggs Benedict

Brunch is by far my favorite meal of the day and Kitchen 73 is my favorite place to eat it! This West Island staple never disappoints; their portion sizes are huge and their food is delicious. I'm an eggs benny kinda gal so I always go for the "Le Boucher". This dish includes 2 poached eggs on an English muffin with bacon, ham, cheddar cheese, hollandaise sauce and THE BEST breakfast potatoes. On top of having amazing food, this place also has a really nice outdoor patio area, which is perfect for those who are not yet comfortable sitting inside due to covid.

We were looking to go for brunch in the west island... after doing some quick research I stumbled upon this place.. at first you walk in and it's okay.. I know we came for brunch but I also assume it was a dinner type of restaurant because of the way it looked in terms of decor. Then we sat down , the service was fantastic btw! Nice menu.. we got our food and it was okay. Honestly nothing special. I took the Benedict 73. I like that it had a ciabatta style bread , but it came with their homemade sausage and it was just a plain patty (I actually though it was those frozen ones you buy) and then I read the menu again and it said it was house made .. so thats cool but they totaly could have put a little more effort maybe slicing it? Rather than leaving it in the middle.. wasn't very convenient to cut it up and very confusing. The potatoes were great. However I did enjoy the story behind this restaurant and it definitely made me feel very wholesome..I just wish the restaurant would give off those feelings, In my opinion it didnt feel warm or welcoming.. maybe because of the intense dark colors? I dont know this place wasn't my jam. But I was very impressed with how the service was , and each staff was so nice and happy! I'll have to come and try it again because the story and the service really got to me!

Veggie omelette, Toast with Butter, Roasted Potatoes, Fresh fruits which were juicy and sweet

Cappuccino was Heavenly good! Everything from Veggie Omelette to Waffles with pudding and fresh fruits were Excellent..! Toast Burger was great too! While Roasted potatoes were great, we had leftovers as their portions of potatoes were alot. I definitely recommend Kitchen 73 For a great Brunch..!

went for lunch with a group of 10. the reservation was not taken down as it didn t really matter since it is not crowded. but we were concerned when we called. the food came out super slowly, i didn't understand why since there wasn't much people. (check picture) the salad was worth it as it is very big and came with a soup ! the pasta carnaccina (shredded beef , porcini mushrooms with truffle oil in creamy sauce) that was ok. a little too soupy sauce to my liking. i think the BREAKFAST dishes could be better. sorry, might not be coming back.

When I go to a breakfast place, I always get the same: two eggs with whatever comes with it. That's how I like it and it also allows me to compare this simple plate from place to place. Unfortunately, I found the food here to be just okay. Although it's a very simple plate, other places make the items in it more flavorful. The service was also not the best. I found that waiters were not as professional as they must be.

    Nice breakfast.

Great place for breakfast in the land of many breakfasts. Didn't start off well when the host warned me 1.5 hours ahead of time that "it gets busy at 11:30 AM and I'll probably have to take your table from you." Gee thanks. I'll hurry up. I'd have left if I wasn't meeting someone by appointment. Can I add the resto was half empty. But that all changed when I met the lovely waiter Alex..his great mood, recommendations and charm made it a great experience. The food is good. But quite the same as other places with the exception of many gluten free choices. Go for the service. Ignore the snooty upfront.

L'avalanche: 6 oz. sirloin steak, 3 eggs, sausages, ham, bacon, baked beans, toasts, crepes, potatoes, french toast, and a bowl of fruit. This plate is not a breakfast for champions, but for heroes. This plate would make a bear feel full and it's not to be taken lightly. But was it good? Heck yeah it was! I made sure to drizzle the provided syrup over everything. Bacons were crispy, eggs were shining, sausages were fatty, steak was rare, everything was spot on. Ron Swanson would be very proud of this. The only downside is that the service was incredibly slow. I understand that a busy lunch hour can slow down the service but waiting close to 40 minutes for breakfast was maybe a bit too much for me. Would I come back? If I had the time and the hunger of a bear, absolutely.

Sel & Sucre and the Bagellox

Me and my girlfriend went here to have breakfast, I had the "Sel & Sucre" and my girlfriend had the "Bagellox". Both of the dishes tasted super good, mine was a crepe with egg, bacon, ham and cheddar. It came with potatoes with parmesan on them, it also had fruit on the plate (you could check the picture I added to see what it looked like). My girlfriend had the Bagellox and as you can guess it was two bagel halves with salmon and cream cheese (which came separate). It also came with salad (no dressing though) Waitress was really friendly and we got our food quickly, and she asked us if everything was okay and if we needed anything after getting our food. So overall the experience we had was really good, I had never been here before! PS: Try their freshly made orange juice its really really delicious!

Parking is not the easiest here, there's a lot but it fills up quickly. The good news is that there is also street parking for an hour from 8 AM-6 PM. We walked in and didn't have a reservation but we got a table and was seated immediately. The service is tremendous here. Everyone we had come to our table was super attentive and friendly. Nothing was ever needed, nor had to ask for anything either. I started with the Caesar Salad, which was a good portion and the dressing was incredible. We didn't have lunch, so I inhaled it. Their rolls came out warm with a side of butter, also delicious and had a nice bite to it. I went with the Linguine Gigi, and asked if it could be prepare with no mushrooms. Totally no issues, and when it came out it was piping hot, al dente to perfection, and the sauce was so tasty I almost took the last roll and drug it through the bowl. (I didn't!) my colleague went with chicken parm, came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. For dessert my colleague had the tiramisu. I got the chocolate mousse. Mine was plated beautifully and was light; flavorful, and insanely delicious. My colleague was so happy he chose the tiramisu. I wish I caught names, but I'll do it next time. I will guarantee that I'll be back here whenever I'm in town from now on. Support small owned businesses!

They have parking behind the restaurant with less than a dozen spots. I ordered the caesar salad and freddo (charcuterie plate) as starters. The salad was tasty though a bit heavy on the dressing. The charcuterie was very good but the star on the plate were the cheeses, especially the parmigiano. For my entree I went with the Mediterranean cod which was cooked nicely. The portion was a bit small and I would have liked if it came with some vegetables or a side. The restaurant was a bit loud, but it was a Saturday night. Overall a nice meal with good food, just go in knowing the portions are on the smaller side.
