Came here on a recommendation. The vibe is great; I ordered jerk lamb chops and collard greens dip, my sister ordered the seafood platter. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops- you get 4 which was more than enough for me. The collard green dip was good, but a tad bit salty- just a tinge. My drink was delicioso!!! Brazil tended to our table and provided Excellent customer service. Whenever I come back to DC, I'll definite it to my rotation.

Good experience, went for dinner for context after missing another reservation. Went on a Sunday for my husbands birthday and it wasn't too busy, we were able to be seated immediately and they placed a happy birthday sign on the table to celebrate. That's the only celebration part though. Service was really good, Jordan was friendly, made recommendations, and even referred us to an app that helped us save a little money called inKind. We ordered drinks to start, I got the wild berry lemon drop and my husband got the peach d'usse frose. Please see pictures for the presentation, very nice! For food we were sold on the special of the day, the Stuffed salmon over dirty rice, and it was worth it. I don't eat beef so I was able to have regular rice instead. I would return for a special occasion.

Ok so this was a whole vibe. The music was on point. The decor was beautiful and the fish was slamming.I had the seafood Platter with fish, shrimp and hush puppies with some fries. It hit the spot especially that fish was fried hard. My daughter had fish Mac & Cheese and sweet potatoes. My hubby had chicken and collard greens he said it was seasoned well and enjoyed it. I had a rum punch it was alright. This place was super expensive. Like everything was good but it wasn't worth $200 for three people. Thank you for a great experience but I felt like I paid for the whole pack if not two packs of chicken that his two little pieces came from. The vibe and welcome was great. My waitress was Brazil she was on point.

If you are looking for salty food and expensive drinks, this is the spot for you! The interior decor was minimal but effective. Their Red Rose wall is definitely a perfect place for a cute photo op. The drinks were cute and strong - presentation is really their true speciality. However the food menu is very limited in my opinion but I guess It keeps the food cost low. The menu consists of: Catfish Salmon Chicken Crabs And sides... I even thought the side options were limited. If you are vegan, this really isn't the spot for you. I had the "Catfish & Grits" ($35) and my friend had the "Stuffed Salmon w/ Dirty Rice" ($39). The catfish was a little too salty for my liking and my friend stated that she didn't care for the taste of the salmon. On the bright side, service was great! Our server "Amber" did an excellent job! She was patient and gave great suggestions.

Cute decorations. Seems like it was more of a space for the younger crowd to pregame but we stayed for dinner. It was good-but pricey

Great food-good drinks-lovely environment-good service-over priced. If you're having a full dinner and drinks experience save it for a special occasion. If you're just grabbing a bite and drinks you'll just need about $100.

Overall very impressed with Kitchen Kocktails. I was there with a party of 30 to celebrate a graduation on a Thursday evening and they were prepared and ready for us ahead of time. The servers that were assisting our tables were fantastic. They were efficient, patient, and so friendly. Our orders came out quickly and all the food was delicious. I had the trinity eggrolls for an appetizer and the fish and grits for entree. The trinity eggrolls were so different but the flavors all came together very well. The grits were creamy and fish was well seasoned. The best part about being there on Thursday was the live band. The live band was FANTASTIC! They really set the atmosphere and was perfect for those celebrating occasions. The singer did something special for each person who was there for a birthday or other celebration. Overall, a great experience. I'm mad I took me so long to visit and will plan to come again soon.

This place is really nice! They have a bar area that offers lots of different drinks. They offer lots of seating for an amazing dining experience. Seats are really comfortable! Service is super fast and the waiter was really helpful. You have to scan the card on the table with your phone to see the menu. I started off with the margarita flight and they were really tasty and strong. For an appetizer I got the trio. It came with three jerked lamb chops, a crabcake and two deviled eggs with shrimp on top. If you like a little spicy the jerked lamb chops are on point and the way to go! For my main course I got the pork chop and mac & cheese and collard greens and my fiancé got catfish shrimp and hush puppies with fries.

I gave this restaurant a visit as it's been about a year since my lackluster experience. I really enjoyed it and will return. First- the positives! During lunch, it was a nice sized crowd; however, I was quickly seated. The waitress was very attentive, friendly, and helpful and she suggested a few new menu items. The food and drink were A++. I ordered the chicken, red beans and rice with a side of macaroni. Perfection. The mid: my order came a bit slower than desired. Also, although the chicken was amazing, it was just one small wing- no subs allowed. The not so good: the restaurant had a slight odor when walking in- it could have been from it being a rainy day. Also, the chair I should have sat in was filthy and worn. J ended up switching out the chair. Finally, the prices for certain dishes are insane, but the food was delicious. The best part of my experience today was the server, Jasmine! I'm a fan of this place again.

I had such a fun Friday night at Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley. The vibe was everything they had a DJ spinning, which really brought the energy up and made the night feel like more than just dinner. It's the perfect spot if you're looking for great food with a lively atmosphere. The cocktails were really good well-made, flavorful, and strong enough to keep the party going. They pair perfectly with the Southern comfort food on the menu. Everything felt indulgent and satisfying, exactly what you want when you're craving soulful, hearty dishes. Between the music, the drinks, and the comfort food, it was a whole experience. Definitely a great place for a Friday night out in DC.

OMG!!!!! 10/10. Let's start first with customer service - customer service was beyond impeccable. Everyone was so nice and sweet. Greeting upon entrance checking on the table it was great. Our waiter Brent was very kind and knowledgeable on all the items on the menu Now food- I got charbroiled oysters and the catfish and grits. When I tell you...those oysters tasted just as good as If I was in NOLA ooo they were so flavorful and delicious. Even the bread that came with the oysters was good. The catfish was so delicious and flavorful as well best catfish I've had in years with the savory grits very southern based. Coming from NYC I haven't had good southern home cooking in awhile. The food also didn't take long to come out. It came out immediately! The ambiance is very nice low music playing kind of dark intimate vibes. I will be coming here again my next DC trip. Oh yes and the cocktail I got was great to I got a sidecar which they did a great job making

My besties were in town and my mom suggested we try Kitchen + Kocktails after the "young people" at her job raved about it. I'm always happy to support Black-owned businesses, but I hadn't heard great things and, unfortunately, my experience didn't prove otherwise. We had a 6:15pm reservation since my mom needed to be nearby by 8. She arrived slightly before us and was initially told there'd be a 15-20 minute wait, though thankfully she was seated by the time we arrived at 6:18. Menus are QR code only. For drinks, I had the espresso martini with tequila, while others ordered the blackberry margarita, strawberry jalapeño margarita, and the honey bee . We weren't starving, so we shared salmon bites, jerk lamb chops, Kajun stuffed salmon, collard greens, and candied yams. After ordering, we waited nearly 30 minutes before asking about the food. That's when we were told the kitchen was extremely backed up and that there were seven orders ahead of us. I understand delays happen, but this should have been communicated when we ordered, not after. I've also since heard this is a regular issue. Because of the delay, my mom had to leave without eating. When the food finally arrived, it was tasty--but the portion sizes were very small for the high prices. DC is expensive, sure, but the value just wasn't there. The restaurant itself is large, but the décor felt gaudy, the furniture cheap, and there weren't even enough chairs for every table. Once my mom left, they literally took her chair to seat another table... Our server was kind, but again, better communication would've helped. We even saw another table sit down, order drinks, and leave--likely after learning about the kitchen backlog. When my mom briefly shared her experience with a manager on her way out, they barely acknowledged her and never came over to our table to apologize. We still paid full price. Bottom line: while the food was good, it wasn't good enough to justify the slow service, lack of accountability, and steep pricing. I won't be dining here again. ‍

I visited with friends on Sunday for brunch. We had a reservation for 1:30pm but it still took another 20 mins to get our table. Ordered some cocktails and they were flat and the table water smelled like sewer water so we asked for some bottle water. I ordered the fish (fried hard) and grits, it came out good. The fish was alittle salty but it balanced out the grits. Also if you are looking for coffee products this restaurant doesn't have any. The waiter was very attentive and positive, which we loved. The environment was alittle noisy and its very open. I know this is not my cup of tea but fake grass and flowers walls are takes away from the decor of it supposedly being an upscale place.

A Wonderful Sunday Brunch at CR NoMa!…read more I visited CR NoMa for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed my experience! CR NoMa is a Moroccan-Israeli scratch kitchen featuring Middle Eastern and North African flavors. I love that it feels like a relaxed neighborhood spot while still being stylish and sophisticated. FOOD: I ordered the Traffic Jam Breakfast, which comes with scrambled cheesy eggs, a hash brown, and cornmeal-crusted French toast with maple syrup and raspberry glaze. Since I don't eat pork, I swapped the bacon for crispy lamb, and everything was delicious! The French toast was definitely a highlight, especially with that raspberry glaze. I do wish they offered another traditional breakfast meat that isn't pork, like chicken or turkey sausage. The crispy lamb was a great substitute, but having another non-pork breakfast option would be nice. DRINKS: I did the $24 Bottomless "Make Your Own Mimosas," which I thought was a great deal! Instead of constantly waiting for someone to refill your mimosa, they bring bottomless bottles of sparkling wine with a selection of juices, so you can make your mimosa exactly how you like it. They also offer a $45 Deluxe Bottomless option that includes the make-your-own mimosas plus CR Bloody Marys, Micheladas, draft cocktails, and Old Time Lager. An entrée is required for either bottomless option, and food is purchased separately. SERVICE: Our server was wonderful! She was attentive, kind, and accommodating. I explained my dietary needs, and she had no problem allowing me to substitute the bacon for crispy lamb. I really appreciated how easy she made it. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is surprisingly spacious! You really can't tell how big it is from the outside. I loved the modern rustic décor, beautiful natural lighting, and relaxed but sophisticated feel. It works perfectly as a casual neighborhood brunch spot but also feels like somewhere that could easily transition into a lively dinner and drinks destination. The broader menu features Middle Eastern and North African flavors, including fresh brick-oven pita and house-made hummus, plus craft cocktails. They also offer happy hour and weekend brunch, so there's plenty for me to come back and try! PRICE: The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. You get a good amount of food without brunch feeling unnecessarily expensive. And $24 for bottomless sparkling wine and juices in DC? I'll take it! Overall, CR NoMa delivered a wonderful Sunday brunch experience. Delicious food, attentive service, a beautiful space, good portions, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

For $45 per person, the all-you-can-eat experience feels like a really solid deal considering how many protein options and side dishes you get. They start you off with a variety of banchan (side dishes), including a salad with this super tasty dressing that had the perfect little spicy kick. For the BBQ, we kicked things off with the spicy bulgogi and butter garlic shrimp, while the others tried the pork belly (I don't eat pork). Later we ordered the steak, spicy brisket, and grilled squid, which were all delicious. The spicy brisket especially was a standout for me. The guys also ordered two rounds of fried dumplings that looked amazing, but since they contain pork, I had to sit those out. I'd love to see Chadol add a veggie dumpling option to the menu! As for the sides, the kimchi and cold glass noodles were both hits at our table, and of course we all added white rice. The "mashed potatoes" though? Definitely more like potato salad and unfortunately very bland. On the other hand, the cheese corn costs extra but is 1000% worth adding. For drinks, the guys enjoyed the Woody Old Fashioned while I had a mezcal margarita-style cocktail that was smoky and refreshing. We also ordered one of the chicken options but never received it and eventually just gave up on it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the ordering system. Most meats are ordered directly from a machine at your table, and the food comes out quickly on this conveyor belt-style setup which was honestly so fun. Drinks and side dishes are ordered through the servers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming. The restaurant is actually much larger inside than I expected, with a modern setup that works well for smaller groups. That said, I didn't really notice tables for larger parties, so I'm not sure how they accommodate groups bigger than 6 people. Service started off a little rough because our server wasn't very attentive, but after I called it out, he definitely stepped it up and things improved. Overall, Chadol was a really good experience and absolutely worth the price. The 1.5-hour seating limit makes sense too, both to keep things moving and give others a chance to enjoy the experience. I'd definitely go back!

It tasted like a rainbow--just bright and with a really delicious after taste. I should have stopped at the rose but after my trying my friend's, i had to have one! We initially came for happy hour, but moved to the cocktail menu. The hh was a bit limited, but the drinks were priced overall pretty reasonably for the area. My one complaint is the wine glasses were so teeny. Overall though, I would recommend this bar. Bonus: cheese balls when you sit down! I believe there is also a limited food menu (think nachos) for the after work or late night crowd.

I know reservations are probably highly recommended, but we were fortunate to walk in at just the right moment and snag a seat. The seating is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere is just my style, an elegant, dark, grown and sexy vibe that really sets the mood. The decor is striking, with thoughtful touches that create an inviting space to unwind. While it leans a bit on the pricier side, the exceptional service more than justifies the cost. Jordan and the team were incredibly knowledgeable about both the drinks and food menu, offering suggestions that perfectly matched our tastes. We tried two standout drinks that I can't recommend enough: the Attractive Nuisance and El Tiburon, (which is an Old Fashioned made with gin). The bartenders here clearly know what they're doing, each drink was crafted with care and precision. The good music in the background added to the overall ambiance, making it a delightful spot to spend an evening.

Because the last time we were here, we could find a seat easily. So never thought about making a reservation. As we walked in, the place was packed. Lucky we got a table in the corner for an hour. One of us had to stand unfortunately. Drinks were great but felt overpriced. Food was delicious too. Fried potatoes and tartar is a must have. The service was great. Ambiance is amazing as well. Slightly on the darker side in the inside. They also have outdoor seating.
