As with all places at the wharf, you are paying for vibes and real estate, not good food. The restauraunt is gorgeous. Very Instagrammable. And our server was very nice and attentive. I also appreciate how vegetarian-friendly this menu is. Most of the noodle dishes came default vegetarian with the option to add protein. I bristle, however, at the fact that adding tofu costs $9 when a package of tofu costs $3 and you're certainly not getting a whole package. So I ordered pad Thai because it contains egg and forewent an additional protein. A soft drink here is $6. Free refills. But seriously, suck my butt. That alone will make me never come back. I will pay for things that are high in value. But do not overcharge me for the luxury of eating or drinking something that is way cheaper everywhere else in your waterfront restaurant. The food itself. Meh. First of all they need to decide what kind of restaurant they are - Thai? Pan-Asian? Fusion? So we're talking $35 for a small portion of mediocre-at-best, inauthentic pad Thai when there are actual Thai restaurants owned by actual Thai families all over this area serving authentic pad Thai with ample veggies and protein for half that amount. Kay. And there was no option to customize your spice level. This was like...negative spicy. I asked for chili oil. This was some thin ass bottled oil if I ever saw it. Decided to pop in for happy hour mid-week. Beautiful restaurant. If you're there for happy hour, be sure to go to the bar area, as it's not the entire restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. The braised short rib flatbread was not exactly what I was expecting but it was very flavorful. My favorite drink was the coconut margarita; must try! The only area of opportunity I can offer is the level of service we received. It didn't taste like mezcal, but it was still good. The deviled eggs tasted too truffle-y for my liking, but they were my husband's favorite appetizer; whereas, I loved the lumpia. Everything we ordered was good, but the short rib stole the show. You definitely want to order it! The crispy shrimp you can honestly skip that, there was supposed to be a kimchi ranch sauce they were tossed in but I didn't taste anything, they were pretty dry. The espresso martini was also not the best, theirs are made with Bailey's, super strong alcohol and not much espresso. Also took forever to get our drinks. My friends and I mainly chose this restaurant for the aesthetics and location. The pink theme is what really drew us in. The interior was nice and spacious, and they offered ample seating outside and inside. The food was average to me though - the wings were over-priced; around $17 for 5 wings. They were very crispy though. Which reminds me, the items and pricing on their online menu varied greatly from the menu they provide in restaurant. The prices of everything were increased by $2-3 and there were a couple of options not available which was disappointing. The saving grace was the garlic udon noodles. I would return simply for this dish. You have the option of adding protein for a fee, but by themselves, the noodles were flavorful and a nice portion. Slightly salty, but really good. Our waitress was really nice as well. My friend's Pad Thai was more on the soupy side, which is not how the dish normally comes. When we pointed it out to her, she offered to replace the dish and gave it to us at half off. It was really considerate to listen to the complaints of your customers in realtime and offer practical solutions. Came here on a snowy night and it ended up being the perfect spot to duck into while flurries were coming down. I ordered the Manifesto Margarita while my partner had the Gewürztraminer pour, and both drinks were excellent. The wine selection especially impressed us, and we appreciated that our server let us sample two wines before deciding. The service was warm and attentive, and our server was actually knowledgeable about the wines, which always makes the experience feel a bit more elevated. But honestly, the highlight was the view. I ordered the chili noodles for my entree which I was disappointed to find out could only be made very spicy or no spice at all. I opted for no spice to be on the safe side. It tasted fine but the sauce was too rich and upset my stomach after a few bites. My friend ordered the bacon fried rice and said it was just ok. We got two non alcoholic lemonades for drinks. The upsetting part was that we split the bill and it was $75 each and then I added 20% which I always do. So it was $90 each for a very subpar experience. I didn't see the whole bill but now I'm concerned that they added 20% service charge and never mentioned that to us. I will never go back for the quality of the food and the shadiness of the staff. You need to let your guests know that you are adding a service charge. By the way, they don't answer their phones and you can't get a hold of them if you need to make a complaint.
