As we poked our heads out from underground like groundhogs, we saw we were in the middle of a giant indoor/outdoor mall. We explored the mall and really enjoyed the naturally lit indoor spaces with wide walkways and nice artificial water features. We ended up spending about 3 hours here visiting stores we've never seen back in AZ. There's 4 different wings and most wings have shops on two floors. They have a large food court with the restaurants spaced where you can easily walk between. There was also plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! Thanks City Creek Center for the unexpected but fun exploration of our tenants!

City Creek is a beautiful shopping center in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, but being…read morecompletely closed on Sundays is incredibly frustrating and, frankly, difficult to understand for a major retail destination in a growing metropolitan area. Regardless of the reasons behind the policy, visitors and residents reasonably expect a downtown shopping center of this size and caliber to be open seven days a week--especially on a weekend day when people actually have time to shop, eat, and spend money downtown. Salt Lake City has become an increasingly diverse and cosmopolitan destination, and City Creek should operate like the major urban shopping destination it is. Closing every Sunday feels unnecessarily restrictive and out of step with what many customers expect from a modern downtown retail center.

The two employees I interacted with--a young woman and a man--were both incredibly nice, friendly, and personable. They even took the time to pack my gifts into individual bags, which was such a thoughtful touch. I'm from California and definitely not used to people being this friendly! Their customer service really stood out and made the experience even better. If you're visiting Salt Lake City, I definitely recommend stopping by Everything Utah for some great Utah souvenirs and a genuinely friendly experience!

They truly have something for everyone, with a wonderful selection at reasonable prices. You'll find everything from local honey, cups, and clothing to jewelry, gemstones, and unique Utah-themed gifts. I especially loved the gemstone bracelets, which came with information explaining the meaning, purpose, and believed benefits of each stone. The copper bracelets were another favorite. On our most recent visit, an employee helped us find citrine jewelry for my niece because it is her birthstone. We were able to choose a beautiful necklace, earrings, and a ring for her. I also highly recommend picking up one of the mystery souvenir bags near the exit. Ours was filled with a fun assortment of items, and we loved everything inside. It added an extra element of surprise to our shopping experience! I've now visited this store twice, and each time the employees have been professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to help us find meaningful and unique gifts without making us feel rushed. Street parking was easy to find nearby, and it was free during our Sunday visit. On days when payment is required, you can conveniently scan the posted QR code to pay. I absolutely adore Everything Utah and highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for souvenirs or special gifts in Salt Lake City. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town!
