You'll thank me for that tip. The chicken is very good - crispy, tender, and juicy. But don't expect large. These pieces must come from a five pound bird. The sides I ordered were their house coleslaw and potato salad. Both old German recipes. I'd recommend skipping these. The slaw was garlic heavy and sour and the potato salad had very little taste. It's not that they're wrong, just unexpected and not that good for my taste. But you may feel differently. Somehow these recipes have survived for decades! Overall, I rated Pichler's above average.
