We are going to start off saying we bought all matching appliances and spend big money on all black stainless. The problem is our refrigerator. Within a year 2 shelves broke and one drawer. We were able to get drawer replacement after 8 months of waiting but told we couldn't get a shelf because not available. The water in the door works sometimes and now im looking at 2 rust holes through the door. This must be some high quality stainless to rust from the inside out in under 2 years.

Cheap plastic bezels, which were replaced once under extended warranty and have failed again.

A few years ago, I ordered a KitchenAid 5 burner downdraft cooktop (which retails at around $2,400). There are only a few companies that sell this type of cooktop, another is JennAir, both of which are owned by Whirlpool. The JennAir was out of stock. So, I purchased the KitchenAid which works fine, but the knob bezels are a joke. They were replaced once under my extended warranty, but now they look and work the same as the originals which I replaced. They are loose because the glue failed and the paint has chipped away, so they look terrible. I reached out to Whirlpool customer service, and they told me that the bezels aren't covered. My takeaway from the email exchange was that they didn't really care if I was a happy customer, or not. It's not covered - next!! I can order replacements from Manny's Appliance, where I purchased the cooktop, at a cost of ONLY $36 EACH (I'd need to buy 6 of these). Yup, they are sold individually! I guess Whirlpool thinks this is a fair price for a cheap, plastic, painted bezel that's likely to look like this after 6-12 months. Why couldn't they use stainless steel? I assume it was a cost cutting issue, though I can't image it could save much. Buyer beware!

Hobart Manufacturing Company used to own KitchenAid. We still use this vintage meat grinder today. (Kitty approved.)

I'm Sharon and I'm addicted to KitchenAid products. It started with an electric hand mixer, then the Professional Stand Mixer and most recently, the Go Cordless Hand Mixer. Sprinkled throughout those purchases are: various KitchenAid stainless cookware, ice cream bowl attachment, pasta cutter, can openers and cooking tools. I even have vintage Hobart meat grinder that Mark still uses today to make sausage. Talk about a work horse, the meat grinder still works like a charm! To say I love KitchenAid products is an understatement. Now, I have never needed to call on customer service, then again, I seem to have terrific luck with everything I have purchased throughout the years, so no need to inquire or open a claim. I'll report back if anything changes.

    Kitchenaid Microwave 2 Days Old!

I have been a loyal customer service with Kitchenaid for years and decided to purchase new appliances for a kitchen remodel through Kitchenaid.com. Appliances were delivered, no issues. Within a few days after installation, the microwave combo started having power issues where power was continuously interrupted so i would have to reprogram the microwave again. This happened 5 times within a 10 day period. After an inspection of the oven, I discovered the oven had aesthetic defects as the sealant around the door was malformed, causing a weird 2" fat line in the center where too much sealant was added from fabrication. I had finally had time to contact customer service with Kitchenaid.com where the phone call went from bad to worst. Customer service rep, Maya, totally unhelpful. Extremely rude, very unhelpful and accusatory of me trying to get free service on old appliances. After 46 minutes on being on the phone with this rep, I ended up hanging up and recalling in again to get a better representative who was not having a bad day. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH KITCHENAID.COM

This is the one I couldn't wait to get but don't even last 2 yrs!! I use it maybe 2 times a month

This is for the ones that have waited and saved up for your beautiful KITCHENAID mixer!! I purchase a red older model one first in 2018 and then wanted something newer with the lift!!! So I haven't had my new one for 11/2 yrs yet, and the lever or something broke that lifts the bowl, so I called them to see what they would offer to help a loyal customer that has purchased not 1 but 2 of their $400 plus mixers... Notta.... NOTHING at all. Recommend buy a new one!!! I'm so upset over my 45 years of life I'm spent thousands of dollars on their products and for my adult children as gifts. Well not EVER AGAIN this is ridiculous. I didn't expect a new one even. Just to fix it. Please don't waste time a money on these items there are so many different ones out these days... very disappointing and I loved mine.. tabby8252@icloud.com

I have a 4 yr old slide in ada compliant gas range. i noted a week ago I was intermittently getting cut on the knobs when I adjusted them and noted the chrome overlay finish was cracked and peeling leaving razor sharp edges. I called kitchen aide to report and replace. I explained the controls were causing lacerations on my fingers, I had placed duct tape around them by now, and asked ab replacement. The associate told me they were over $100 per knob plus tax and shipping. I questioned the price, asked regarding the lesser expense on the website and Amazon, and asked if the company would be made aware the knobs were causing injury. He replied, " I've heard about your cut fingers, I don't care, are you ordering the knobs or are you too cheap? ". I asked to speak with his supervisor and he hung up I have pictures of knobs and fingers.

    Propane orifices

Basically no customer service, the phone call forces you to leave a message, the first time I called the return call was 4.5 hours later, which I unfortunately missed, next day left another message, 27 hours later I called again and the automated call said I had previously left a message, and they would return my call. To be continued, the reall issues was this, I emailed regarding propane orifice that I had purchased in preparation of an upcoming order of a Kitchenaid Oven, for $5K. My story, we purchased a Kitchenaid Oven on Sept. 17, 2025 through Best Buy, which at that time had a delivery date of Oct 11, 2025. I wanted to be prepared for the delivery and ordered the propane orifices on Sept 25, 2025. The delivery date for the oven was then rescheduled to Nov 19, 2025, but on Oct 21, 2025, I was told the oven was discontinued, so I canceled my order. On Nov 18th, I emailed that I would like to return the orifices. Their response- Hello, We only have a 30 day return policy, this order is 54 days old. Customer Service I ordered Kitchen aid Parts for a Kitchenaid product which was never delivered. It is still a Kitchenaid problem IMHO. Please refer this to a supervisor, as we feel very poor customer service. Maybe we were lucky to not receive the Kitchenaid product as their customer service is definitely lacking. Sincerely Michelle.

Built in oven that will not work, and it is new!!!

I will never again purchase a kitchenaid or whirlpool appliance! Bought a new wall oven/microwave from Lowe's, and right after installation, started having problems with the microwave not working. Lowe's wanted to replace it with a different "lesser" model that did not have half the options as they could not find any in stock at any other Lowe's within 50 miles! So told to contact manufacture. If any of you have tried to get in touch with anyone at kitchenaid, you know how much fun that can be! After 3 days of email attempts, and trying to navigate the their web links and the less than helpful reps telling me to user "troubleshooting ", I was finally able to get a service appointment and was told it would be next Friday, as they are not open on weekends! I arranged my schedule as was told 8am to 5pm! That morning I called the service phone number given and was told it would be the following Friday!! So now I am looking at not being able to use my new appliance going on 3 weeks!! I will never buy anything from Lowe's again and will not even consider looking at another kitchenaid or whirlpool, as they are the same company! I could have saved my money as I needed a new one because my old microwave oboe the oven didn't work! Little did I know I would be back in the same situation so soon!!! After purchasing a $4000 appliance, left with a non working wall ornament!!

I have the iconic KitchenAid stand mixer my sweet Momma gave me! I am not a huge baker, however, I've used it to make pastas, cakes, and anything and everything that needs to be mixed. It's a true kitchen power horse! The attachments available for the stand mixer are truly almost endless in varieties! I've kept it simple with the regular mixer "blades" the spiral dough hook, and the three piece steel accessory set. Do know you get spiralizer blades, sheet cutters, sausage stuffers, food processor attachments, grain mills, fruit/veggie strainers, shaved ice attachment, food grinder, ice cream maker, juicer, and more! I've had InSinkErator garbage disposals over the years without any problems at all! Our current garbage disposal is an InSinkErator. Hub sinstalled it with no problems whatsoever. Of note, the InSinkErator garbage disposals are the only garbage disposals invented, designed, and assembled in the U.S.A. A great reason to support InSinkErator! Our current side-by-side refrigerator is a Whirlpool "Gold." Yes, it broke once, and was rather pricy to fix; however, overall it's been a good refrigerator for many years. The ice maker crapped out, and with just two of us, who cares? I just make the old fashioned ice cubes. We aren't big ice cold drinks people anyway. Thanks, Whirlpool, you truly have been "improving life at home...for over 110 years!"

Unfortunately, our recent experience with their warranty service has been extremely disappointing. We currently have a refrigerator at one of our properties that is still within the warranty period but has stopped working. Whirlpool sent out one of their authorized service providers multiple times to repair the unit, but the issue has still not been fixed. To make matters worse, the service provider has stopped returning our calls entirely. When we attempt to contact Whirlpool directly, the experience has been just as frustrating. We are frequently placed on hold for long periods (often close to an hour), only to be transferred to another representative and placed back on hold again. For a company that sells appliances at this scale and markets strong customer support, this level of service is extremely disappointing. At this point, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences we have dealt with regarding a warranty issue. Service Job Number: SWPTC4C58354-1 Model: WRS325SDHZ Serial: HRE0803444
