What's not to love about Krasl?  If you're the artsy type, you truly will enjoy every minute spent here.  Whether you come to an art class or to check an exhibition, you won't be disappointed you stopped.  I highly recommend checking out their website to check out when things are going on. I love coming here for the exhibitions because the range of art they bring here is very diverse.  As stated on their webpage "The Krasl Art Center offers historical, contemporary and thematic exhibitions that are thought provoking, relevant and relatable."  I feel there is no better way to discribe the exhibits so I had to use their own words.  I have been coming here since I was a kid with my parents.  One thing I remember them doing when I was younger was they had an exhibit for wax sculptures and it was then I knew I loved looking at art.  I was never good at art myself, as much as I tried to be, so for me coming here to stare at art was the next best thing. Also, don't miss the Krasl Art Fair on the bluff.  It's always a great event every year. read more

Such a great addition to the city of St. Joe's. We were right by the beach and was looking for things to do nearby and this place showed up on yelp. So glad we had the chance to check out Pete Souza's exhibition and it was truly amazing. The staff were so nice and they gave us recommendations on what we can do in the area as well. They will have more art hops and etc in July and August. read more

This place is a gem around silver beach. The staff were very informative and hospitable. They even gave us suggestions on where we can park and go for the sightseeing and fun areas. We saw Pete Souza's exhibition and I couldn't be any more happier. It was an unexpected surprise. The art center is pretty well kept. We'd love to be back again for more art fairs. read more

I loved Carole Feuerman's work. She is recognized as a sculptor who started the Hyperrealism movement in the late seventies with Hanson and De Andrea. With a career spanning over four decades, she has produced a rich body of work by combining steel, bronze, and resin, with more unconventional media. All around a great place, and a must see, wish it was much, much bigger. read more

I little gem of a museum. I stopped by while they were showing works by the members. Painting, sculpture, photography and more were being shown, and of quite a high quality. Their Art Lab had an interactive Harmonograph where I got to make my own drawing. There's no charge to see the museum, donations are accepted. read more

This is a cute mini museum I discovered that features local artists, and creative thinkers, in the Michiana area. The pieces they have are very unique and are made from everyday items a person would never use as art. Krasl Art Center is a small quaint ultra modern hidden gem, for art, and they feature different collections and have different art displays on a regular basis. They also have a jewelry boutique that was very impressive, feturing extremely unique tasteful artsy jewelry. However the prices for some of the pieces can be quite high. Krasl Art Center also offers art classes and features some of their art pieces in art festivals in the area. Overall it was a nice and inspiring place to view art, and I definitely want to check out more of their jewelry. read more

This is a nice small museum with wonderful exhibits. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My 9 year old daughter is falling in love with art and during our time here asked two staff members a million questions each, which they met with genuine patience and enthusiasm. A good museum has a nice collection of artwork. A GREAT museum promotes a love of art and expression in the community. I believe this is what they are doing. read more
