The one star is only because I was not able to give less! Dealing with Kitchens on the fly has been an absolute nightmare!! Buyer beware Kitchens on the fly is not worth the headache! The only saving grace has been the patience, knowledge and skill of the installer Brian! At least the kitchen will look beautiful...when and if it is ever completed! ***update as of 10/27/10 UGH! It just keeps getting worse! Today we received the "custom ordered" hood valance that we have been anxiously awaiting only to discover that the finish does not match the rest of the cabinets -it is useless! To make matters worse we still do not have enough crown molding for our installer to finish the job! We have had enough!! We officially filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! ***update as of 11/1/10 We have received a refund for the hood valance!!! Hopefully the owner of the company is coming to her senses and will be supplying the installer with enough crown molding to finish the job..one can only hope! read more

Wow I just went in and checked out the special for the complete bathroom at Kitchens on the Fly in Pembroke on Route 53. One of the homes I am getting ready to market is in perfect perfect condition, so neat and clean and tidy with one exception - the main bathroom servicing the three bedrooms outside of the mastersuite has seen it's day, it is old and tired, the tub is a bit discolored - yep in this perfect house. We all know how buyers are- people who influence them will tell them it's going to be $20,000 to replace this bathroom...but I happened to be driving by Kitchens on the Fly when I was leaving another one of my listings on Canoe Club in Pembroke and I saw this sign that said Complete 8x5 bathroom $7,999.00! I turned my car around and headed right in to to see Michelle to find out the details. Wow, it is true for less than $8,000 my client could have a new tub or shower with glass doors, tiling, Kohler fixtures too for toilet, tub, faucets and shower head, new vanity, even an exhaust fan with light and two decorative wall sconces. I called my Client with the outdated bathroom immediately from my cell in the showroom and Michelle was kind enough to schedule an appointment tomorrow Sunday even though they are not usually open on Sundays and my buyer will be capturing this all on this Massachusetts Tax Holiday Weekend too! Michelle explained to my Client what is included for the $7,999 (tax and installation excluded from pricing)...set their appointment and I am sure this new bathroom will be a great selling feature of this home coming to the market on the South Shore shortly! read more

I have worked with Kitchens on the Fly for both my kitchen and bathroom. I am pleased with the final results and enjoyed working one on one with the owner who helped me through each step of the process. Any construction can become overwhelming especially when anxious to have the project completed but Kitchens on the Fly helped along the way and I was happy with all of the suggestions and insight I was given. Negative experience beginning with the store not being opened on a Saturday morning during the time that we were told to meet the salesperson. Upon returning later on that same day, we were met with an ultra rude salesperson who seemed to be put out with our mere presence . Merchandise not even a consideration, I would NEVER EVER do business with this organization. They need a course in customer relations...a 101 level! read more

As Megan B wrote, The only reason Kitchen's on the fly gets one star is because I cannot give less. This "designer" as she likes to call herself made our kitchen remodel a complete nightmare. From ordering incorrect cabinets, changing cabinets without our approval, not returning calls (unless, of course, she needed a check), to completely ruining our kitchen island. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and received no resolution because she lied about all of the things she did wrong. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! You will be VERY dissatisfied with the products and service. Not to mention the insanity of listening to a woman completely lie to your face. One of the worst experiences of my life! read more

Michelle from Kitchen's On the Fly may have a good eye for what looks good but appears to have little knowledge of function. This cost me when I had to have 4 cabinets replaced with more appropriately sized cabinets.Now those cabinets are hanging in our garage as a constant reminder. I wanted 2 tone cabinet with one color on bottom and another on top. In her expert opinion the color should be mixed on top. This caused a cluster of too many small cabinets. I ask fo rthe cabinet to go to the ceiling and to have the soffet removed so that could be achieved which entailed moving drainage pipes. when I reminded her about the height of the cabinets, she convinced me that crown molding would be beautiful. I went with her advise. The crown molding is cheap cabinet material and 8 inches wide, not flush with ceiling, I should have just left the soffet. I was supposed to get a pull out spice rack cabinet to make a useless cabinet space more usable. Instead she ordered the wrong cabinet that is topped with a draw that has about 5 inches in width of space. Useless and the draw can't close unless I shove it, so i just don't use it. They coudn't change it out like I wanted because it was too much work to take out the sink. there is also a spacer in the same area and it looks unprofessional. My house is 11 years old and I just wanted a very nice kitchen. I am very unhappy that I saved all this money to spend it on this. I wrote this today a year after having it done because my friends son just went to her. I thought she went out of business because she moved from Pembroke. If you decide to use her in spite of thiis review, don't trust her to have your best interest as a concern read more

the cabinets we got from k itchens on the fly are peices of crap and the amount of money she charges for these cabinets are a total ripoff. the cabinets were rta cabinets these come in flat box like you get at ikea and are screwed together by cheap labor. . check out the quality and price at a lowes or home depot before going here you will be doing youself a big favor . the owner michelle should not be in the buiness of designing or anything else to do with kitchen remodel if we had done what she wanted to do we would not be able to use the kitchen read more
