I have diabetic retinopathy, and Dr Hansen began to 'abrasively' ask me if I was aware of all the symptoms of my disease. Before I could answer the question, he continued on, reading from notes my retinal specialist had sent in, highlighting one horrendous diabetic symptom after the next. When I told him those notes were from 21/2 yrs ago, and my current condition had improved since then, he argued with me stating that the notes were from July this year (2023). It was as though he was 'illness-shaming' me in front of his assistant. His tone & manner was without empathy & utterly unprofessional. In the midst of this awful exchange, I thanked him & took my leave. His last words to me on the way out: "Nice workin' with ya!" I certainly wouldn't recommend anybody support a medical practitioner who treats his patients this way.

Rather that currently where most don't even look you in the eye and their answer is to push drugs. None of them want you to get well anymore. None of them feel they need to keep you happy. They could care less. They get paid if you come or not. This clinic is everything medicine used to be and more. I was hesitant for years because I paid for health insurance. I can say 5 minutes into my meeting with them to discuss how the program worked I knew I needed to switch. The cost is so minimal compared to what they give to you.
