I told them I didn't need my vision checked (I have 20:20 after Lasik), I was having problems. After a few minutes and am insurance check, they were able to modify the paperwork and move forward. I was worried that I may not get answers since they had scheduled my appointment incorrectly but it went very well. I walked away knowing what was wrong and ways to improve it. Not sure if that's typical, but it was very helpful to me as I didn't want to wait an entire month to be seen for eye pain. My visit was short, to the point, and very enjoyable (or as enjoyable as a trip to the doctor can be!) The staff was incredibly friendly, the waiting room was quiet and clean. They even had a walled-off children's area for my 2.5 year old to play in (a lifesaver!) The doctor was so very nice and made great conversation, and I felt entirely comfortable throughout the exam. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely keep them as my eye doctor while we are stationed in this area for the next 2 years.

They gave me and updated prescription that was wrong. Said I would need to get used to it. But it was blurry vision in one eye, and it took six months for it to be dealt with. They took me back to a prescription that I had over two years prior. And that prescription, it's not good enough for my eyes. So not only did I give them several hundred dollars for my prescription and lenses, but I ultimately had to go somewhere else recently to get the proper prescription for my eyes. Interestingly enough, the Kingston Vision's prescription was nowhere near what I needed to see well. The new place I went to give me a proper exam, showed me a comparison between where my eyes are with the prescription, from Kingston Vision to the prescription that I would need, my eyes are no longer blurry with my glasses on. So it's the quality of Kingston Vision's treatment is what I'm not happy about. But again, the people there are nice, and they try to give good customer service. The fact thatI went elsewhere to get the right prescription, which cost me a lot of money, is pretty infuriating. Because of this fiasco, this year, I actually paid double the amount that I should've for my glasses to be updated with a new prescription because of the lack of quality service from this business. I will not be returning nor recommending them. With the poor vision that I have, and considering that my eyes are everything, I need to make sure that my the glasses and prescriptions are accurate. An technician does the primary check of your eyes and then you see the doctor. They do not give you a lot of time with him. Here is the downside: I have insurance that covers one visit a year and they know it. They scheduled me prior to the year and guess what-no coverage. I talked to them and they were going to fix it. Here comes another bill and it isn't fixed. So my care rating is a 4, my back office is unacceptable. The jury is still out. Personally I like the doctor so I hope he fixes this issue...because I am getting nowhere.
