We are Senior Citizens on a fixed income and we're just grossly overcharged from our first and second quote at Kitsap RV in Port Orchard. First verbal quote was $350 or $400. Upon arrival we signed for $527.80. When work was complete we were charged $760.29. Totally unexpected and they didn't even mind that this was a hardship for us. Very disappointed in the craftsmanship and attention to detail by the parts & service crew. As a repeat customer and contractor myself, I would expect that the team would use non moldy wood and also clean up after themselves in the vehicle upon finishing. Instead, they used mold ridden wood for interior framing. (mold is something that you want to keep OUT of your rv, not IN) I returned the van and requested that they redo it. They did not charge me for labor on the redo, which was good. However, they actually charged me for new clean wood! To top it off, when I finally got my van back and opened the doors, the whole floor was covered in construction dust and trash. I would never leave someone else's house a mess and would take the time to at least shop vac before I moved on to the next project. Will no longer be a customer of Kitsap RV, sadly. read more

We custom ordered our Rockwood 2516s in September after 2 to 3 years of research. We just brought home our new rv Feb 10th. Mark spent alot of time helping us in person, by phone and text. If I could give a zero star review I would. I never leave reviews, but I am appalled at the lack of customer service. We waited three months to get our fifth wheel into the shop. They assured us they would be able to fix all of our issues including a damaged slide out on our 41 foot fifth wheel. The staff was extremely rude and dismissive to my husband. A few days after we took in our fifth wheel, they called us back and said they would not be able to fix our our RV because of staffing issues....after they gave us an estimate!!! They also broke the ladder on the back of the RV, did not want to fix it, and blamed us. I assure you, this was not broken when we took it in. Our agreement was to have them fix any issues on our 5th wheel, and they would consign it for us. Rude, unprofessional, dismissive, and no integrity with their word. We will never support this business again, and you can bet we will let all of Kitsap County know how we were treated. read more

So just leaving a new note to whoever it was 2 years ago who lied and said they had to do a major repair to our RV roof that was going to cost over $1000 - We got there and asked to talk to someone who worked on it, to explain what exactly they did - they pointed me to some guy - well the guy seemed extremely embarrassed and basically walked off not knowing what to tell us- it seemed clear he didn't do the work and they were trying to get him to lie and he had no idea what was going on. Then there was a bunch of confusion and we never got to talk to anyone and they just basically all ran off and hid "busy". I realized later I probably should have pushed the issue. How do you prove it though? The thing they told me was wrong could have been completely fabricated and we would not be able to tell once repaired unless we SAW the problem first - we should have asked to come see the problem before approving the repair over the phone. Lesson learned. Take my advice, do NOTtrust this place. Now for the reason I'm bothering to post this - for the guy who decided to take advantage of us - I'm sure you'll be very proud when you are old and dying looking back on your life, at all the people you f$&ked over. We took 5th wheel in for winterization a couple years ago and to also fix the slides. Took them a couple visits to fix slides. We noticed that they had tore the bed off the wall with screws exposed. Waited until after covid to get it back In no problem with that but they did not repair the damage they did to wall or put bed back into position yet they told us it was done. Their communication is very lacking between desk and mechanic we took it back to fix bed and double check slides that would creep out. Mechanic was told slides would not stay in. We got home found the bed had not been put back We had to repair their mess. Done with them really check any work you have done there before you leave lot. read more

I have a 5 th wheel RV. I stopped by to ask about having service on my axisles. I walked in there was a women helping another women. Their were about 5 other men in the office area ,2 men were in the lot and had just come in talking about steps on a trailer. The was one on the phone talking to a customer. The other two were listening to the conversation about the problem on the phone. I was milling around in the middle of the service area. Had I eye contact with two of the men but got enored for about 7 mins. Then one gentleman looked at me and said have been helped I said Nope i have been waiting for someone to look up. I asked about a inspection and was told come back in August? He said were full up till then that's 5 months from now. He shrugged and said we are busy. I find 5 people in a service office and ignoring customers not really that busy. This is the second time I have been to this location and have not gotten any service. I will not be back read more

I purchased a Ford diesel F250 from Derren last month. The truck was awesome and the price was just right. Unfortunately the customer service has been the worst experience I have personally ever had as a business owner or a personal consumer. I still do not have license plates or any response to my request for where they're at or how I will get them. I have been unable to contact anyone for the last 2 weeks at kitsap RV have realized that this was a badd decision. I now can not run half of my business do to lack of a vehicle total FAIL! Dont trust a word they say! Sold me an RV. When I test drove it, I noticed the brakes were making a lot of noise, like metal on metal. They supposedly gave it a full safety check afterwards. Shortly after the purchase I discovered the brakes were in such bad shape that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. They has only replaced the brake pads, when in reality it needed calipers, rotors, and new abs sensors all the way around. They had actually caught on fire! All the rubber was charred and crispy! They had to have seen this when they replaced the pads, but they didn't care that it put my family of five and the general public in grave danger. They purposely cheated me on this issue, which cost me $2,000, and a week of time as we were stranded waiting for someone to fix it properly. You will hear Kitsap RV say that they have great mechanics. IT'S A LIE!!! The will tell you that all of their RVS are emptied of sewage and flushed. Our black tank was full of the previous owners human waste, which we figured out after wet headed down the road. The toilet bowl didn't hold water, because the seal was bad, so when you drive it sucks sewer gas through the cab! Disgusting! It their systems check was worth anything at all, they would definitely have checked the toilet. Their word means nothing. Typical promises before buying, but once you leave the lot, they won't even answer the phone or call you back. They refused to own up to the brake repair issue, and left me holding the bag for over $2k! Specifically, Mark Tompson, Keith Larson, and especially John Jordan, the owner, need to own up to their lack of care and action. The finance guy, Darren, tries to cover for them all by pushing the third party extended warranty on you for $4,000. He overpriced my RV, then offered it for less if I added the warranty. Their gimmick is to sell banged up RVs, the rely on the warranty to restore them working condition. If anyone had a 'good' experience buying an RV from these guys, it's because someone brought in a good RV for them to sell, not because they did anything right. If the quality was a reflection of these men, they would fail 10 times out of 10. This dealer is notorious for farming parts off of RVS that are on consignment, and took the washer and dryer out of our 2002 Pace Arrow we bought. These guys are huge failures, and they cheated us in a big way. Based on how they responded to me, they will do it again without remorse, especially if you're from out of town. Very shaddy outfit!!! Go somewhere else or you are likely to be very sorry!!! I gave them a chance to redeem themselves to me on several occasions over about a month. I can only get the secretary on the phone. She sounds sympathetic, but can't get any of the crooks she works with to call me back. These guys still owe me a minimum of $2,000, and week of my family's life back! I am firm on this position until they respond like men and own up to their actions! AVOID THEM OR YOU'LL BE SORRY! read more

ZERO Stars would be too many. Three stooges work here and between them they still haven't registered the car I bought a month ago. Instead of initialing the odometer box as I've instructed verbally and in writing 12 TIMES, they pretend I've not responded AND KEEP HARASSING ME to come in there. I WILL NOT GO NEAR THOSE CREEPS. Considering that I've been driving the car a month, have a secured bank loan that I've already made a payment on you'd think they'd be more customer friendly AND INITIAL THE BOX AS INSTRUCTED and get it registered. Instead they continue to bully me by pretending I've not responded. Further they charged me $200 for registration & licensing that really cost $43 (according to the licensing office) and told me I may have to pay them MORE $$ but they'd let me know when they gave me my tags (PAY MORE MONEY??). They all LIED and told me I couldn't transfer my old license plates to my new car saying "Washington doesn't do that, they sell license plates." Yeah, the cost to transfer plates is $10 - WHAT A SCAM. They spent more time bolting on plastic KitsapRV plate covers to the vehicle than making sure they had their sh*t together for a sale that was already a done deal (according to the bank). Trying to make me believe that while I can sign my life away over the phone to the bank, that my in-person, personally penned initials in a box on a form are pivotal for them to do their job. One had the other call me and pretend that I hadn't already talked to the other. He acted all nice and like, "hey, how are you?" and then tried to lie to me about being set up to call me and pretend not to know that I'd already discussed the matter. Then he tried to tell me it would be illegal for them to initial it EVEN THOUGH WE ALL AGREED IN PERSON WHAT THE ODOMETER WAS AND EVEN THOUGH I AM VERBALLY TELLING HIM TO INITIAL IT. What a scam. I don't know what their deal is, but IT'S NOT ABOUT BEING CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. They treated me like I was stupid and easily distracted by something shiny. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

We put our RV on consignment at Kitsap RV. They were very enthusiastic and sure of themselves that they could get our RV to sell and for the price we wanted however that did not happen. We had to accept a purchase price $2200 below what they guaranteed because they would not let us out of our contract in order to sell it on our own unless we paid $1000. We agreed to this contract with the understanding that they guaranteed our asking price. Very disappointed with the way they consign their RVs. If you can't get your asking price you should be able to void the contract without penalty so you can sell it on your own. They are poor communicators and salesmen at that. I have to begin by saying that we didn't not read the previous reviews of Kitsap RV on Yelp. If we had, we might not have purchased our new trailer from Kitsap RV. That said, so far we are very please with every aspect of our purchase from Kitsap RV. Their salesman, Keith(?) was very easy to work with and let us look out our leisure without a bunch of sales bs typical of so many vehicle lots. He was informative and helpful and I felt very honest. When we finally decided to make an offer they met our offer with practically no negotiation which I appreciated very much. In the end they actually ended up throwing some free stuff into the deal! John the owner and finance guy was easy to deal with and the paperwork/financing aspect went quickly and painlessly. They took about a week to prepare our trailer for pickup and had gone through every component to make sure everything worked and was clean. When we returned to pick it up one of their service guys (name?) took us through every aspect of the trailer to show up how to work it and make sure we were comfortable with all the controls. They installed a trailer brake control and in our vehicle during the orientation. Then they gave us an informative review of safe towing and we were on our way. Since we bought the trailer in the late fall we've only been on one outing and everything worked perfectly. At this point, I can't say enough nice things about our experience at Kitsap RV! read more

Kitsap RV Opened about 1 year ago. I was fairly desperate to get an electrical problem fixed so that we could leave on an emergency trip. all other places had about a four week wait. when I called Kitsap RV they fit me in so that my wife and I could leave on our trip. As soon as I arrived they had me drive around back, where Jamie (Service Manager) and Jorge (excellent technician) were waiting. Jorge climbed into the RV and had the electrical problem fixed in about 1/2 hour. Everyone at Kitsap RV was polite, friendly, and very professional. I will certainly go there again. read more

We had on motorhome on consignment with Kitsap RV.Our contract was for 14 days. At the end of 14 days the contract stated they would buy it from us at the agreed price. The contract was up 10 days ago and they haven't paid us and are claiming they sold it during the 14 day period. We showed up to collect and the owner of Kitsap RV, John, told us he couldn't write a check until Monday. We asked for the keys since the contract was up and he said "no, it's sold". While my RV was at this shop to have the Satellite dish replaced by one with a lower profile, the shop personnel destroyed the original dish which was only six months old and had no damage. Then they lied about what happened to the dish. The shop claimed that my batteries needed replacing, and they were supposed to return the old batteries, but then they reported that the batteries were stolen. After I reported the theft to the Police, The shop reported that they turned the batteries into Interstate Batteries as cores. After I made a complaint because of a loss of 1600 dollars in materials, they gave me a credit of 300 dollars. I will never use this repair facility again. There is no Integrity, and their work is bare minimum to meet the basic repair. If a Mechanic cannot tell the difference between a old part used and worn for years, and a new part only six months old, then he should not be working on Vehicles. read more

Went to this dealer twice, first time filled out financing for a toy hauler...then a few days later was told they sold it to someone else. Saw another toy hauler months later, told them we wanted to buy it, they stated they would start running it for financing and call us. Days later never called. I emailed them and was told someone was "working" on it. Called a few more times checking in on things....that was weeks ago. Just bought a awesome toy hauler from Paul Evert in Fife. I would not recommend them to anyone. Nice guys but customer service is seriously lacking. read more

Had a horrible experience with Kitsap RV. In early July I gave them my 2015 Keystone Bullet camper on consignment. Book value was $17,500, and I told Keith I would like to get at least $16,000 for it. He thought that was reasonable, and even said it would probably sell quickly, as the market was very strong. A week later I noticed they were asking $23,995 for it on their website. I called to complain that they were asking way too much. Keith agreed, but the price remained the same. I also let him know that they had the gross weight listed as 2500 pounds, when in fact it was 3860 pounds. Then months went by with no phone calls or even an email from the dealership. In November I called to tell them I wanted the camper winterized, since freezing temps were not far away. Took 3 phone calls before they got that accomplished. Finally, after almost 8 months they had a buyer if I could agree to $13,000. The book value had decreased to $14,900 by then. So I got them up to $13,500 and completed the sale. I asked to have the check sent via FedEx, and they agreed to do this. I got it 6 days later in regular mail. My name on the check was not spelled correctly. But my local bank knew me and cashed it anyway. I feel that Kitsap RV caused me to lose at least $2,500 on depreciation, by taking 8 months to get a buyer. I have bought and sold many vehicles over the years, but dealing with Kitsap RV has been, by far, the worst experience. read more

I bought a 2018 wilderness it's a good rv but it had some small issues. I made a appointment for warranty work . Leakey sink faucet. The bath tub wall needs new two sided tape missing a screw on the propane cover and new screws on the wheel well and leaking propane on the heater and fridge and the freezer cover is1/2 short and thread is coming off the cushions I phoned them after a month thay where just getting to it. About weeks later I got it back. Thay fixed the propane leak and the put new screws in the wheel well that stuck out about a inch . Didn't fix anything else.. very pore workmanship... do yourself a favor buy your rv some where else...... read more

My experience with Kitsap RV was terrible I would not recommend this outfit to anyone. The parts guy didn't seam to care about any mistakes he made, didn't apologize for not calling back , 3 time's, or ordering the wrong part. I finally had to go to there, and talk to him in person to find out what was going on. Then he tells me they can install the part in 2 weeks, and they will repair it in 2 hours while I wait, same day in and out,that works for me. so 2 weeks go by, and I call the day before to confirm the appointment. They then tell me to drop it off, and it would be ready to pick up in 2 weeks. After that misunderstanding, not any apology from them I took my camper to them.I was told it would be ready in 2 hours. Went shopping, and came back in 2 and a half hours. Went in and they told me that the part was the wrong one and would have to bring it back in 2 weeks. By now I am steaming, the parts guy then comes back and says that they can have it ready in 10 minutes. Now I am totally confused, the parts guy says the tec can get parts from another part and make it work. 2 hours later it's working. They must have a tremendous customer base, because there customer service is the worst. read more

Absolutely horrible. Please beware of this business. Stole items off of my RV while on consignment with Kitsap RV. Never did they have my permission to take them off and the only way I knew what was going on was when I showed up unannounced. Not only was the water heater and thermostat taken, but also the table leg holders. When confronted, they claimed a pre delivery inspection had found these items to be defective, even though I received a phone call from the owner saying the hot water tank was fine. The RV was never sold, so why do an inspection, and when we were presented with an offer, we countered, as you do in negotiations, but were never contacted again by kitsap RV. We are now left with an RV we can't use or sell. I would think a business would try and make things right when they do something like this. After everything this business did they turned it around on my wife and I and blamed us for what has happened. Pretty sure a business depends on its customers and if this is how this business treats it's customers....please please beware. read more

I would not recommend this business. Recently purchased used RV on consignment. The salesman, Mark, was great and continued to assist us the best he could through our experience. The owner, John, is a typical used car salesman who can't be trusted. The service manager is way over his head and does not know the first thing about customer service or RV's. Long story, short, it took well over a month for us to get our RV after we paid them. They promised 10 days and never provided updates on status unless I showed up unannounced. Service manager was unresponsive and never returned phone calls. If you think you get agreed to repairs in writing when you purchase, don't trust it. The "promise" is more of a "if we feel like it". Rookie mistake on my part. In the end, I THINK I got a decent deal on the unit, but I will never take it back to them for anything, especially service. read more

We stopped in at Kitsap RV because we had just looked at an RV that was not advertised realistically on Craigslist (Federal Way). We both really dislike sales situations so I had to really talk my husband into stopping just to look. Well... we absolutely loved the guys at Kitsap.
