This business goes above and beyond what I what I ever expected from a repair shop! I called them at 4:10 on a Friday afternoon when my power steering got a serious leak.(Stop Leak wasn't going to work) They said I could bring it over and they'd take a look at it. It's a 2014 Itasca Navion RV that I had scheduled to rent out that Monday. Their guys diagnosed the problem and were able to find a part and get it delivered Monday morning. They replaced the whole rack and pinion steering system and aligned the tires that Monday and my renters were on the road Monday evening. We took our motorhome in to see what they could do for our airbag problem and to get a quote for springs and shocks. They got back to us with a quote and said we would benefit from a sway bar too. Mike and Ken kept us informed of when the part arrived and it was done 2 days later. When we went to pick it up, I was told that we already had a sway bar and it had been upgraded so they didn't install the other one they had ordered. A lot of places would have went ahead and put a new one on and charged us anyway. They were friendly and honest and didn't take forever to fix it. I would highly recommend them. Took our Class A to Peninsula Fleet and RV a few weeks back.. Mike and Ken in the front office were extremely knowledgable and showed great compassion for helping you out. Although a regular service was a bit steeper in price than I've paid before, our rig is running and driving better than ever.. Fleet also took the time to get my batteries/house power up and running smooth that another shop up the street kind of messed up.. We plan on taking our rig back to Fleet for some suspension upgrades, and regular service appointments in the future. I left feeling like they care about your safety, rig running smoothly, and take pride in their service. Kris who worked on our battery/power issue made it a point to come out with Mike and make sure everything was up and running. Since you had the audacity of requesting a rating of your services, here it is: On November 11 I took in my Country Coach for the annual service and check a problem I had with the electrical system (wild swings in voltage and warning lights in the dash). I picked it up on November 12 after you changed oil and filters to the engine, but you did not service the generator "because you could not start it" and you explained to me that now that Bob retired, you do not have any technician to work on generators. STRIKE 1 Also you could not duplicate the problem with the voltage swings, but you did not plug in the computer to see what kind of codes the OBDS was generating. STRIKE 2 I took my RV home and in the short drive (about 30 miles) I had several problems with the voltage. By the time I got home you had already closed for the day, so first thing next morning I called you and let you know of the persisting problem, plus now I could not even start the engine. No cracking, no ignition lights in the dash, just dead. I also explained that the motor home was parked in a storage lot with very tight space and impossible for a big enough tow-truck to get in there, but you promised to send a team over to star it and take it back to the shop. STRIKE 3 Weeks went by without even a call from you nor returning my calls, to the point that I had to drive back to your shop a total of 5 times to be able to talk to anybody. STRIKE 4 Finally you scheduled your team to come over on January 3. But that morning you called me to say they could not make it and you would reschedule it. A week went by with no word from you, so I drove up to you for the sixth time, at which point you admitted you could not handle it and suggested a third party to handle the job. STRIKE 5 Total cost $1200.00 for a "glorified Jiffy lube job" : you did nothing more than that! I used your services for the past seven years and never had an issue, but the way you are now running the business is appalling. Charged me over 300% for rotors for my rv. Wouldn't show us a receipt for his price .Told us he marks up parts 30% . That was a blatant lie! we gave him three days to show us what he was charged for the rotors, he never came up with an invoice. We were charged 562.92 @ for rotors that we had priced for 159.00 to 200.00. He never got back to us on the overcharge! I wonder why? we tried for three days calling and emailing. No reply!!!!! Don't take anything to be worked on here unless you get a written estimate with the prices they are going to charge you for parts!!!!!!! Plus they tracked grease on our stairs in the RV. I would like to get a refund on the over charge!!!!! read more

I brought my RV here to get new spark plugs and coil packs. I got my RV back and they somehow fixed the tapping noise that my motor was making. My RV has never ran so smooth. We did not end up having our trailer repaired by Peninsula RV only because they could not work us in that same day, likely because they are good at what they do and popular. However, they worked with us at length over the phone to try to help us fix the problem ourselves, and tried to come up with an appointment for us as soon as possible. I had a major problem with my stabllizer jacks coming down and dragging on the road. Although they were busy, they worked me in, gave me a quote, and went to work. They finished quickly, charged me less than the estimate, and I was back on the road in no time. I was lucky to find a company who has integrity and does quality work. I brought a diesel truck to their shop that I was planning to purchase. I explained to the service manager Brad that I would like a vehicle inspection, prior to purchasing the truck. I told him that my main concerns were a ticking noise that was coming from a pump on the motor, an oil leak that I thought was coming from the timing cover and the steering felt worn out to me. I asked them to list any areas of concern so that I knew what I would be getting into with this truck. What I got was a VERY weak inspection. The two Items that I expressed concern about were not addressed at all on the report, and what little information they provided was very vague. (you have a leak at the LR wheel not sure what it is, excess wiring added by owner, missing muffler, and the timing cover oil leak the I told them bout) When I got home I did some further research online being a mechanic myself, and was performing the necessary checks as described on the online diesel mechanic registry. I solved the problem with the ticking pump, and at the same time noticed a serious oil leak coming out of the transfer case on the truck. I was very upset that less that 1 hour ago I paid $100.00 for an inspection and the shop had failed miserably! They were closed at this time so I decided to stop by the following day after I got off work and get some resolution to these problems. I talked to Brad again the "manager." I explained everything, and told him that I felt a refund was appropriate. He told me "we are not going to take the whole truck apart for $100.00" I said "I understand that, but you failed to acknowledge the items that I brought to your attention, and you completely missed a very large and obvious oil leak." I felt that I got nothing for my money spent but a headache. He said "I'm not giving you a refund" I asked why they couldn't identify the leak at the rear wheel, and he told me "we're not going to take the wheel off for a $100 inspection" I said "I paid for an inspection!, and you won't pull a wheel off to see behind it!? That seems a bit ridiculous, Les Schwab will check it for free." Then he told me to "go to Les Schwab then" To end this unproductive conversation with a person who clearly does not understand customer service, or what his job is, I asked if there was anything he could do to make this right, and he said "No." So I left and for the record I did go to Les Schwab and they were able to identify the issue for free! Needless to say I will never return to this establishment. read more
