All of the items were clean, and there wasn't really any "junk" to sift through to find treasures. As always, I started in the kitchen area, where I'm always looking for some interesting bowl, jar, or rare kitchen gadget to add to my collection. Then, I meandered over to the linens, through the furniture, over to clothing, and of course spent a considerable amount of time in their crafting and book area. Their prices were super reasonable, and the staff (who all - or most - appear to be volunteers) were very friendly and helpful. And not only have I experienced this behavior, but I've also just seen the way they speak to other customers who are only just asking basic questions about items or just general information and are met with condescending and just flat out rude responses-acting so annoyed and surprised that someone would dare to speak to them or god forbid ask them to do their job. Once again, I love searching through the items the store has to offer, and it is quite an impressive array. However some of the employees could seriously use some help with learning some basic customer service skills and maybe pull out whatever is stuck so far up their butt.

Great brands like J.Jill and Chico's in my larger sizes, well-prepared and tended. My husband found his very favorite shirt in this store, and wears it at least once a week. Carrie has a great sense of what shoppers want, and she is fair in her policies. When I was there last she was frustrated by not having a day off since she couldn't find responsible help. I sure hope this is worked out, since she is the heart and soul of this place and it wouldn't be the same without her kindness, patience and personal touch.
