The iced cafe con leche has my heart It always hits the spot, not bitter, always smooth!! I sometimes ask for less milk because I like more of the espresso to come through and tend to like it more dark than it's typically made but that's just my preference. The cafe is spacious and there's also a patio to hang out at as well. They have pastries and breakfast sandwiches which are great too My favorite sandwich is the turkey sausage , egg & pepper jack cheese bagel. This time we tried the loaded hash brown and sausage sandwich and it was very savory!! The "waffle buns" are made of hash brown, egg, chives & cheese! Unfortunately I have mixed feelings about this location, maybe I have to check out another one. But since I was around the area this one was closer. I am actually not from this state. I'm from New York, so I definitely heard a lot about foxtail. I only came here for a quick coffee run, I had ordered a vanilla caramel nitro cold brew with half/half & coconut cold foam. The drink was actually pretty good. I never had coconut cold foam so I loved the drink & would have it again. Unfortunately the worker told me that the cold brew stop working so the cup wasn't filled all the way up... and i was actually thinking about ordering a large but I probably would have my cup half. I told her it was okay, to not worry about it. I just wish I was offered at least an alternative. The ambiance was great, I love how they have the area & outside seating. Very aesthetically given & quiet place to have a chat. The service was okay... it was my first time so I ask questions. I asked her what kind of milks they had offered & it seem more of like she didn't want to list the milks. I just wish it was a little bit more welcoming... I've been a regular at this coffee shop since I moved here two months ago, but after today, I won't be coming back. I stopped in around 7:30 a.m., and both employees working were incredibly rude and standoffish from the moment I walked in. The overall vibe was unwelcoming and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the coffee I received was genuinely one of the worst I've ever had--comparable to something you might get at an airport sandwich shop. This is a lovely place to grab a WELL MADE coffee with a friend, to work, to read a book (with some headphones in), or to just relax. I always like the chill indie music they play too. It really fits with the vibe. The coffee is well made. One of my go-to's is the vanilla caramel cold brew (pictured) as well as the caramel iced latte. Today was my first time at Foxtail Coffee. The food/coffee was great. I got an iced caramel latte. It had the perfect note of caramel and milk. The service was efficient. The barista answered all my questions and gave recommendations as well. The atmosphere was very studious. It was a rainy day, romantic movie kind of vibe. Today I came to the ribbon cutting for the new Foxtail coffee in downtown Sanford Florida. September 6th, 2023. The place is beautiful right on the Sanford Avenue strip. Lots of people were here today so they were busy. I ordered a cafe latte 12 oz with a shot of vanilla total price was $6.09. A bit pricey I thought for a cup of coffee but I like to support Sanford and new places. The coffee was a little sweet I probably shouldn't have added the vanilla. Inside was very beautiful They had wooden tables and wooden chairs. It was busy in there so I didn't quite understand where to order the coffee and where to pick it up but I quickly learned. They have lots of different types of coffees and teas and pastries. They also have Foxtail coffee that you can buy and all kinds of T-shirts and creamers and cute mugs. Inside the same building is an ice cream shop called Kelly's. They didn't open until noon so I didn't get to try it. There is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking in a dirt parking lot right next door. So Sanford has been waiting for this to open for a very long time . So glad they finally got it up and running. They are open everyday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Enjoy! read more

The chai tea latte was extremely sweet! Too much for my taste. It lost tasted like an apple pie tea. The drip coffee was ordered black and was very strong. It was also a bit on the sweet side. Maybe it was sitting for a while and that's why. I don't know. I understand that Foxtail roasts and brews it's own coffee. But the flavor notes aren't a favorite of mine. The workers there are great and friendly and they have a great spot to sit and relax with your coffee. That's why it was given 2 stars. Come for the coffee: stay for "Woody"! I come to this location when I'm in town and usually there is a very large and super floofy Golden here named "Woody" who appears to be the napping mascot some days, and on others, he is very much the Concierge. I never drink at the Big 2 coffee chains: always at independents or Regional chains that haven't lost their Raison d'être. Foxtail is expanding and it makes me worry, (even though the coffee is still great) , but I will always come here as long as Woody still does. read more

So I have to be honest when I say I wasn't Overly impressed with the taste of foxtail coffee but for some reason this location changed my view. I come here often for work meetings and it's awesome. The coffee is great. The coffee Baristas are very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They offer Oat milk which I LOVE. Their pastries and food is often delicious. I loved the pumpkin bread during fall. They cater to seasonal trends in the best way. I just had a eggnog Latte and it was not overly sweet but yummy! This is a new location of the franchise that I have been wanting to try out. I went on a Saturday evening with my husband for some coffee. The vibe of this place is mostly urban in a suburban location because of the young target customer. There seemed to be a lot of students sitting inside and outside. The outside tables were nice as the weather was very cooperative. At the counter, I noticed a limited coffee menu. I thought for a coffeehouse, there would be more options like cold/frappe kind of drinks or just more varieties of lattes and cappuccinos. I ordered a hot matcha tea latte while my husband ordered a hot coffee. The presentation of the matcha latte was nice and it tasted like fresh brewed green tea with a hint of mint. It was also sweet and creamy. We also ordered a warm blueberry muffin. I wish it had more blueberries plus it was overpriced but overall tasted good. Foxtail is a decent stop for coffee and just lounging inside. The coffees and pastries and overpriced but good. They also have a limited menu. I've always loved Foxtail since the first day they opened in Winter Park. So I was over the moon when they opened this location. It's so much closer to my house now. The decor inside is of course stunning and bright but still has that chill cool vibe. It's such a great place to just come with some friends and hangout, enjoying some coffee. Love the outdoor seating area too. The staff like always is very nice and great at what they do. The fact that they have fresh Valhalla doughnuts and other vegan pastry options is amazing. I'm already saying goodbye to my money. The Lake Mary/Sanford area definitely needed an awesome coffee spot. I'm so happy it was Foxtail. I'll just say my goodbyes to Starbucks now. read more

Given the location, it is the better option around aside from Starbucks and McDonald's. I like the local flare and trying something unique so this was a good choice. read more

This location is a lot smaller inside than it appears on the outside. However the friendly staff makes up for the smallish indoor area. I decided to try the chai latte for the first time. It was pretty good, but the cinnamon flavoring just wasn't for me. There is a nice amount of outdoor seating but there are no ceiling fans. If this location added outdoor fans, it would be a lot more ideal. Overall positive experience with the staff. They even let us know we could take a free sticker. But the building structure itself is limited and the outdoor area could use a bit of an upgrade. read more

Coffee - Welcome to amateur hour. I asked for a Hario V60 Pour Over. The girl at the counter looked at me to question my order but then the barista lightbulb went off. She fumbled around trying to get the Hario to fit on the wrong size cup and then opted for a paper cup. She clearly doesn't understand extraction, temperature, or bloom. Overall taste was less than stellar. A good place to go if you don't care about how your coffee tastes and don't know anything except for K-Cups. 3. Price - Still trying to pay off all those fancy atmospheric upgrades? Yeah I think so. Considering my pour over cost $4.50 and so did my wife's Cafe Latte. Might need to reconsider your pricing structure or upgrade the overall quality of your product if charging that much. Going back? Maybe to study if there are no other options. read more
