BRING HEADPHONES Well the massage was great and the person was attentive the noise from other rooms and the entrance were a bit distracting. The massage: The massage itself was wonderful, she focused on key areas that I pointed out and didn't leave the room at all until she got the hot towel. The price: $50 for one hour is a good deal, especially since the massage was so great. Noise level: While the massage was great for the price, be aware that none of the rooms have a floor to ceiling wall. The walls are open in between each room and even the entrance. During my massage I kept hearing the door open people coming in, talking from the room next to mine and it took away from the relaxing massage (which as I will say again was great, and wasn't interrupted by the person leaving) OVERALL: I gave this four stars instead of the three because I feel like perhaps this noise issue is not a problem they can solve until they get more customers to be able to put the money towards better rooms with full walls. This was the worst massage I have ever gotten. Firstly when I was changing the masseuse asked if I was ready. I said I wasn't ready and the masseuse came in anyway, while I was half naked. Before the masseuse started she said "herbal oil" and I said yes not really knowing what she meant by that. She then said 10 dollars more. The masseuse drowned me in so much oil the sheets underneath me was wet and uncomfortable. She had long nails that scratched me the entire massage and it felt like she was just rubbing me not actually massaging me. The masseuse asked if I wanted hot rocks and pressured me into saying yes and told me it was 20$ extra. I told her that I don't want any add on's so stop asking and she proceeded to ask if I wanted a mini facial. The pressure to get an add on is absolutely ridiculous. The whole massage sucked, if you can call it a massage. At the end they asked how much I wanted to tip and I said 5 dollars and then the lady at the front rolled her eyes and said I should tip more. I told her that a tip is not mandatory and the massage sucked and you're lucky you are getting anything. And the manager argued with me, trying to get me to tip more. Never in my life have I been treated this way by someone in customer service. NEVER GO HERE. I'm surprised this place is still in business. Absolutely horrendous. Pretty good massage! I'm the kind of person who loves deep pressure, and I want to feel sore when I come home. Though it wasn't quite the deep pressure I wanted, but it also wasn't just a light stroke down my back. My husband likes a lighter massage and he said "8/10". The environment was very nice, the staff was respectful and kind, and I really appreciated it. They got us in on super short notice which was really great. It would be nice if they asked prior to going in where you wanted focus and how much pressure (just because I find it awkward to interrupt their process), but all in all totally worth the money. Love that they take walk-ins. Hate the pushy up-sales and language barrier which makes it difficult to understand what is being said/asked. Due to the communication barrier I was suckered into 3 different up-sales on a couples massage. I was very clear when I walked in that I didn't want any add-ons. Because of my people pleasing nature, I didn't want to hurt their feelings and say I couldn't understand a word being said. I love this place! My friend and I happened to be visiting the area and we decided to do a couple's massage room. The lighting is low and there is faint relaxing music. Today we asked for a deep tissue and the ladies did not disappoint. It was a full hour and they really got to work on my knots until they were basically gone. We don't live in the area but would definitely recommend to our friends in the area. Note: Let them know if there is an area you want them to focus on and they will work on those areas for you. I absolutely love this place and I can't recommend any special Therapist. They are all excellent. These Ladies are very petite but they give Massages like a 350 pound Man. When I leave I feel Euphoric. This Massage place isn't a resort kind of place. It doesn't have Chandeliers, Waterfalls, Robes or Chocolates. I got the Thai Massage and full body scrub. The only thing I didn't like is that even though I paid for the full hour for the massage. I thought the body scrub was after that hour. Apparently not. My body was sore and I thought I would get a massage. I walked in and opted for the Swedish massage for $50. Was asked if I wanted add ons and I said no. Massage was just so so, not very much pressure. She asked me if I wanted medicine oil, I thought she meant massage oil, so I said yes. While doing the massage she asked if I wanted hot stones which a lot of places do during the massage. I said ok. Nothing was said that these were extra. When it was finished and I went to leave, I had the $50 ready for the massage and a $20 tip. When I paid the $50 I was told I have to pay $20 more for hot stones and oil. My first time at this place and my last. I did the $80 for hour and half deep tissue. During the massage I told her a few areas that were really needing work and she offered special oil for $10 more. I was expecting to get the bottle when done but nope. Also, I left a $11 tip in the room and the therapist came back and basically said I need to leave $20 and literally took the 20 from the counter that I was paying for the $10 oil and gave me back the $10 of the $11 and even kept the $1. So I'm assuming they automatically figured I wouldn't mind, but I agreed on the hot oil... then I thought I was done so I get up ready to leave but she's like ohhh no we're not done so I'm hhhmm okay so I lay back down... she proceeds to put hot stones on me, me not thinking anything of it because I didn't remember what's on the menu.... Then she does lotion or whatever then after that she does cuppings.. I remember cuppings being on the menu so I'm thinking in my head what's going on she didn't ask me if I wanted it so now I'm assuming it just comes with the massage. After all is done which mind you she did a very very good job! I'm like okay I'm gonna tip her $20 and then the $10 for the hot oil... I proceed to give her the $30 and she looks at me weird so I'm like how much? She's like an extra $40. Overall, very positive experience. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the massage itself was incredible! My main disappointment came when the staff demanded I tip a certain amount when checking out. They tried to pressure me into tipping which was awkward and made me and my wife feel uncomfortable. So, just know if you go here they will expect a $10 tip per person for a 60 minute massage and $20 per person for a longer massage. This place is $20 for an hour, comparable to my usual place. I had Nessa with me, so two massages... the man handling the front desk says $42 total. I was paying with a card, so I asked is it because of that. Language barrier, he just repeated the total and said he charged $2. My assumption wasn't clarified, but I figured that was the reason since many do charge additional for using a card. It's a pass through fee depending on their bank and varies from $0.50 to about $2. Fine I won't make a fuss. My massage was okay. The guy used hot towels...nice, but forgot to wipe down my right arm. However, he did focus on my neck and shoulders and did very well trying to iron out knots. And he kept asking if it was okay whether it hurt me or not. So good; I thank you sir. Made a last minute appointment yesterday evening. I was able to get accommodated within the half hour. I got one hour combo massage for $50 with Lucy, and it was amazing! I will definitely be back. When I made the appointment, I was sure to ask if I can pay in credit card and tip in credit card, and it was no problem. There was however a $2 fee for using a card.
